Are you freaking kidding me?!?
I thought this was a completed series. This book was written in 2018. That is 5 years ago!! The author has written the ZA series (also unfinished even though book 8 was SUPPOSED to be the last one) plus two spinoff series since this book series. I don't understand not completing a series before writing a different one. Freaking Jesus Christ. What a crap shoot.

This series really is fun and addictive. We’ve moved beyond the initial fallout, the characters are settling into this new life of survival, and yet they’re still learning more about the nightmarish experiments that hunt them down in the woods or crawl between the streets. Book four has us witnessing the organization of a first real post-chaos town and while things seem pretty good in Franklin there remains more than one bloodthirsty enemy stalking the fence. And these characters aren’t the sort to just hunker down and play cards, the world is still devolving (or perhaps evolving) and their next mission is to try and cut off the contamination from the source.
Wild adrenaline-pumping action in a crazy apocalyptic setting, Valenti writes a series with a fresh twist in each step.

Book 4 was released a couple of years ago…
Where is book 5?
If there is no sequel, then just add an update to the end of book 4 for the discontinuation of this series.
Otherwise this book was good.
It’s nice to see how they are getting organized and what’s next.

March 12, 2024Very good series! Just wish I could finish it! Would love to have book 5 since this last book (ADVANCED)was written in 2018!
My only complaint about this Author is every single one of the series I have read are CLIFF HANGERS!! Finish a series before you start a new one, or do a new Book 1 of next series then finish last one! That said I LOVE LOVE LOVE EVERYTHING I have read that is why this 1 complaint!

Poorly edited and a letdown
This book was published in 2018. I though it was the last in the series and it’s not. So disappointed.
The ENTIRE SERIES is horribly edited to the point it detracts from the reading experience.
The plot is good but it definitely could have been a four book series. Very dragged out.

great series
There's always something surprising around the corner in this book. I like the story being told from different viewpoints. I wanted to keep reading more to find out what happens to everyone.

Susanne, you've done it again, you brilliant woman. Respectufully though, where is book 5? I need to know what happens next! This book had me on the edge of my seat and gave me so much anxiety. And I loved every second of it.

A new spin on a post apocalyptic world. A fast paced easy read that keeps you captivated ... Wanting more. Characters are not over defined which keeps the story moving.
Books 1-4 are complete. Its unfortunate that the final book has been put on hold since 2018

i’m incredibly disappointed to find out this series isnt complete! its been action packed and tense, with little rays of hope and romance and id love to get the grand finale to the characters stories.

Book 5 is needed!
Read and enjoyed the first 4. But seems it just ended unfinished since the 4th book came out over 6 years ago. So this is my reason for only 3 stars. I will definitely be changing this rating if and when a final book is released.

Not a complete series!!!
What the heck. These were so good and there isn’t a 5th book. I noticed this with an other series before their more popular books came out. Very disappointed.

I love this series. It just keeps getting better and better. The characters get stronger and more understandable. Never a dull moment and unpredictible!! Can't wait for the next book!

NOT A FINISHED SERIES. So sad that I can’t finish this series!! I’ve been reading through all of Susanne and Caroline’s books, and this series was very good! A quick read as well.
