I received this book as a promotion from voraciousreadersonly.com for a review. This book was a different take on vampires and gargoyles. Which I thought was pretty cool. The pacing of the story was smooth and I wasn't bored as can sometimes happen with vampire stories. The climax was reached and not drawn out which was also a plus. All in all a good story. If a change is what you're looking for give this book a read.

I enjoyed this book SO much!

This was an actual, legitimate new plotline for me. There are so many twists and turns (true, a few of them are predictable but it did not detract from my enjoyment at all!) .

Gargoyles DO exist....but not like you think. This tale weaves together gargoyles and vampires in unique ways all while throwing a dash of Egyptian mythology into the mix.

Kal Johnson is minding his own business, living his life with his lovely bride and working on the business he owns and operates when his past is brought to light and he has to reveal his true nature to his wife. He is a walking, talking, living gargoyle. And you thought your marriage was complicated?

I cannot rave enough about this book. It was such a quick and good read but special kudos to the author for NOT filling this story with unwanted and unnecessary smut! That was a huge plus in my opinion!

My only complaint was that there were a few spelling and grammar issues that a good editor or proofreaders would have caught!

Amazing book
