When Bay’s estranged father returns to Seattle to beg for her help, Bay isn’t entirely sure whether to trust him. She and Nicco set out on another adventure, this time looking for the truth about Bay’s mother. Along the way, they encounter a group of true Sirens, but the magical singing women aren’t giving up their secrets as easily as Bay hoped.
Alexandria Clarke is a writer, cat lover, and all-around optimist. She loves to immerse her readers in mystery and intrigue, meaningful friendships, and the worlds of characters who learn by doing. When she's not writing, Alex enjoys playing guitar, watching Wynonna Earp, and spending time with her family. She currently lives in Orlando, Florida with her partner and their four pets.
A good read but the plot was really just a bit too obvious. It was an entertaining read but a few twists would have been nice. The character skills are evolving but I don't know why but I found the characters less likeable in this book. Having her father turn up on her doorstep and say that the mother she thought had died in childbirth was still alive was not what she was expecting. When she's told by the coven that that could be true, she sets out to get more information. The Sirens, she contacts, want her to kill a warlock. Add in an enchanted necklace, a demi goddess, hexes, prisons and power hungry jail or for a good read that felt just a little 'off'.
Bay’s father suddenly appears and asks her and Nicco to help him find Bay’s mother. Although she does not really trust her father, they agree to try to help. They encounter Sirens’s who are tight lipped and do not give up their secrets easily. This is going to be be some adventure.
This is yet again another great cozy paranormal mystery. It is full of great creative character with lots of personality and flaws which make them more interesting. The mystery is full of surprises, twists and turns that keep the reader invested in the story until the climax. I especially enjoyed the characters and how they worked together. It is a good short cozy paranormal mystery.
Witch Myth: Siren Song Book 3 (Witch Myth: Siren Song #3) was a great read by Alexandria Clarke. Bay's estranged father returns to beg for her help. She doesn't know if she should trust him. She and Nicco set out to look for the truth about what happened to Bay's mother. They encounter a group of true sirens that won't give up their secrets easily. I enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to read more by the author.
In this third book of Witch Myth i'ts time to find mom and bring her home. The sirens need to be stopped. Ms, Clark has written a marvelous cast of caracters and has given the readers I.E. you and me a warm cozey mystery for the reading, so grab this third and hopefully not last Witch Myth to enjoy. Kat
A strong ending to an excellent paranormal cozy mystery series! I love a happy ending and this book delivered a convincing one. Another quick, fun read, so don’t miss it!
