From the moment you start this book the tragedy that happens and the lives it took. From the moment of realization that life held no meaning, only now revenge was consuming. Derek lead his life in a bottle with the ghosts drawing him in minute by minute day after day. The recklessness of these actions are considerable and to what cost. Then on a not so good day the eyes of a prositute draws him in. And why you might ask heaven only knows. But Derek not giving a once of fuck, is very much attracted. And Eve thrown in a life of prostitution because of her brother, being raped daily because of the fear what the mastermind being Rock will do. How to escape is always a thought but saving her life has just been that a distant thought. Will this encounter with Derek who seems to treat her like a person not a whore be the saving grace she needs.......well grab your copy and see.

This book starts out with a bang and the twists keep coming. Page-turner, gripping, intensely emotional, powerful and unforgettable is a few words to describe what you are in for.

I'm not spoiling anything on this one. The writing takes you to the scenes and gives you front row access to characters that you can't turn away from, they make you feel what they do each high and low will rock and shock you.

This ride was so good and filled with all so much twists and sharp turns you'll be ready to ride the emotional tide again. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review but loved it so much I bought it.

Not Quite Sure

I’m just not sure if this was an actual MC read or not. They kept referring to “gangs” and not clubs. I could get on board with Derek who was the leader of the Savage Saviors because of his bad*ass demeanor and as the book opened he had one h*ll of a life changing shock.

Eve was a college smart woman whose brother used her as a bargaining chip to the Black Falcons to pay off some of his debt. Now she was a prostitute trying to survive living this life especially with the evilness of Rock who happens to be Derek’s arch enemy.

This was an ok book for me mainly because it took most of the book before Derek and Eve met. I would still consider reading the second book of this series to see where this author wants to take me.

This is the first book in this MC series. Eve's brother sold her into prostitution. Then we meet Derek who suffered tragedy a few years ago and is looking to get revenge. Derek meets Eve and knows instantly he has to help her and keep her safe. This book is full of drama, danger, sadness, and twists and turns I wasn't expecting that made the story that much better to read. Loved the connection between Derek and Eve, and cant wait to read the next book in this series!!

Terrific!!

This is book 1 in the series and introduces Eve sold into prostitution by her own brother, doing what she needs to in order to survive and Derek the last surviving member of his family and leader of the Savage Saviors the gang that is slowly being killed off by the Black Falcons the gang that effectively owns Eve. These 2 have nothing in common except they both want the same man dead. Terrific story that I cannot wait to read more of.

This was my first read by these guys. It wasn't a bad read. Derek had lost his wife and family. He was angry and he wanted revenge. He meets Eve and she is as troubled as he is. She was basically sold into prostitution by her brother because he couldn't pay off his debts. It was good that they met because they both were troubled people and needed to be happy.

ONE EXCELLENT READ!!!
Wow! Talk about intense. This is one exciting, fast paced, smooth flowing, nailbiting, spine tingling, heart pounding, pulse racing, page turning bombshell that's as riveting as it is captivating. A whirlwind of emotions and events that pulls those heartstrings. An instant connection, steamy chemistry and a soulmate bond that really grabs your attention. The characters are complex and believable with such depth and individuality it's easy to relate. The scenes are so graphically detailed and descriptive you have no trouble picturing each scenario as they play off one another in perfect balance. Twists and turns abound with unexpected surprises that make for one thrilling experience. J. C. and Timothy did a remarkable job bringing this read to life. Fantastic job guys, thanks for sharing this little gem with us.

I really wanted to like this because I really enjoy these authors. For me this was a slow long drawn out story that just never quite gelled. The story doesn't live up to the preview.

Much Confusion With Book One.
I'm a big fan of MC storylines so I was happy to see a new series surface. After struggling thru the first few chapters I was feeling more and more disappointed and confused. I certainly believe in internal dialogue to get a sense of were the character's head is but, OMG, page after page of it is too much. Plus, there was such a difference between Derek's internal voice (The PhD Philosopher) and external voice ("we ain't got no..."). Talk about disjointed!
But more perplexing is the more I read, Eve's chapters especially, the more I knew what was going to happen before I read it and I began to think, "I've read this before!" Yet, no where has the authors indicated that all or portions of this book were from an earlier book. So are they taking an earlier story and turning it into a series? Who knows. And I'm not sure if I want to find out if book one is any indication of how they are doing it.
I am volunteering to leave a review of this advanced review book.

This is an emotion second chance love story.Derek has lost so much because of Rock.First his father is killed them his brother when he gets to his house it's too late. His pregnant wife was raped and murdered along with his baby she was carrying. The only thing Derek seems to be living for is revenge to kill Rock even if it kills him too.Who is second in command who was a close friend and vp to his father at the club Marry keeps trying to get him to move on.He always tells him his wife would want him to move on.But Derek always takes crazy risks riding his bike without a helmet.Running red lights and driving reckless. When he stops at a red light he sees a beautiful girl a hooked standing on the corner he checks her out then takes off.But Derek can't forget her something makes him think she shouldn't be there. He knows it's a bad idea but he stops on night then goes to the bar not far from her and gets drunk to quite the voices he swears he can hear his wife asking why he couldn't save her ?He gets drunk an picks up a woman he probably wouldn't look at it he was sober. Eva shouldn't be here having her brother trade her to his dealer for his debt but the man says she's a down payment nothing more. Her brother is in prison that he isn't safe there either .So after being raped repeatedly she feels like dirt. Not the young woman fighting and clawing her way through to graduation where she can help others get their life's together but no graduation for her now she's just a whore with no future.Until she sees a gorgeous man on a beautiful chopper looking her over. She hopes he stops even though she knows he can have a pick of any woman he wants and wouldn't have you might be comfortable. There are a lot of twists and turns, there's danger, suspense, hot sex and also tough subjects to talk about. This book is written by a multi talented author.I can hardly wait to see if I'll ever be the same and if Pandora still wants me?.I love the way this amazing author brings the characters to life before your eyes and it's like you know them personally.I can hardly expect her to same .This is one hell of a book and I advise anyone with interest in danger, suspense, hot me like who could have it all but doesn't want to.

Can there be Mercy when you want Savage Retribution?

Savage Mercy is Book One in the Savage Saviors MC series and is a good start to a new series. I will start by saying that I love a really down and dirty, with a lot of grit, MC series so I was really looking forward to digging into this new series. Plus I have liked a number of JC Allen's books in the past so I figured I was already ahead of the curve.
Savage Mercy is a good start to this series. It tells the story of Derek and Eve and lays a pretty good basis for the background for the series. These two have pasts that they cannot escape from but both have dreams, her of getting out and him of revenge and retribution. However, together they end up saving each other.
I thought the book started a bit slow and did a few too many twists and turns for my liking but once it settled down a bit more it read well. The characters of Derek and Eve were well written but lacked a bit of depth and background to me. We are also introduced to several supporting characters, some of which will undoubtedly have their own books in this series. Overall I liked this first book in the series and look forward to reading the next in the Savage Saviors MC series.

I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

Derek and his wife Maggie were expecting their daughter any day. His father had lead the Savage Saviors MC, his brother set to take his place when time. Derek didn't want that life, she chose another route. When the rogue element started breaking away from Savage Saviors to start the Black Falcons, they killed his father, mother and eventually his brother. When Derek received a panicky phone call from Maggie telling him to hurry, he knew they were going after his wife. What he found was profound and life altering.
Chuck owed a debt too large for him to pay. He had drugged his sister at the restraunt and taken her for what he thought was a one time deal to clear the debt. Turned out, he sold her into prostitution and only paid a portion of what he owed.
Are you shaking your head wondering what you've gotten yourself into? This is an emotional rollercoaster you won't soon forget. Each high and low were delivered with such an impact from the team of J. C. Allen and Timothy Allen, I'm anxiously awaiting the next one. You won't want to miss it either

J.C. Allen is a fairly new Author to me and I truly do love MC romance. To me, this book was a terrific way to begin a new series. The storyline is compelling and full of the kind of sexy characters you would actually expect to see in a MC book. As Derek continues to struggle with his past and his pain, there is another that is suffering and in just as much pain. After the betrayal from her Brother, Eve is losing hope. When these two amazingly crafted characters meet, is all hope lost, or is there a glimmer? I strongly encourage all MC reader's, such as myself, to follow along and find out for yourself. I was addicted to this book from cover to cover and am impatiently awaiting the next one in this superbly designed series.

I was beyond fortunate to have requested an advanced reader's copy of Savage Mercy in exchange for my honest/voluntarily given opinion and I can not wait to read what is next for this Brotherhood. I highly recommend this book as well as anything that is a follow up to the Savage Saviors MC. Nicely Done.

I do love new to me authors Savage Mercy is a "new authors" read for me. Pretty cool cover just from the smirk it pushed you to think bad boy.

The story is about revenge and surviving. The characters in part had a lot of personalities, as a couple for me they didn't really spark Was it because of the story content? It was a bit darkish and it bogged down for me in places.

Derek reliving the past and seeing ghosts, Eve is barely living and walking the streets. Situations and circumstances bring them together, will the same circumstances keep them close or will it be too much for both of them to get over?
They both seemed to be shoveling their own skeletons around in their closets, would they have a better chance if they left the past?

In general a decent enough read. You like gangs and MC stories grab it though I'm can't even imagine Derek being a new book boyfriend for me, he's just too many issues. Enjoy.

What more is there to say about J. C. Allen and Timothy S. Allen that is not obvious when reading her books. Her literary genius and her creative mind surprises you every single time. When a book touches you right down to your soul, to your core at the first few paragraphs, you know that you are in for an epic adventure. And epic is the journey through Savage Mercy. I read this book three times before submitting my review because it was that good.

This is a gripping and enthralling love story, with a lot of twists and turns that you can't begin to imagine. It's full of unconditional love based on a past shared experience, one that has broken their hearts and souls but that themselves can mend, and subsequently heal each other.

Pick up your copy today.

I really hate this series. How can two people be so retarded, yet so likable? I cringe. I’m on the fourth book of the series and I find that I need to read two more. I don’t know how I’m going to make it through. I can tell tell this shit show is written by a man. If men are really so indecisive and weak internally, I can see why women thrive without them. A woman’s fantasy man must be a male author’s nightmare.

The only thing that rings true is queer Matty. At least he knows what he wants and where to take the club. He should have been president years ago.

And Eva? What a weak ass piece of shit. If this bitch doesn’t man up, I’ll want to kill her. No woman would tolerate a psychopath like Chuck and no real woman would. She would have driven a shiv through his cock. This series better pick up or I will burn the books in the street!

This book was different from what I normally read. It was amazing to read by these two authors j.c.allan and Timothy S allen. Their books are fantastic.

Derek broke my heart he is struggle with a tragedy. He is lost and is losing control of who he is.

Eve was a nice young girl and got betrayed by her brother. Which I wanted to slap for what he did to eve. She was forced in to a job she didnt want to do but had no choice.

When Derek and eve met it was still heartbreaking because he didnt know if he could move on because he lost wife and his struggling with grief and guilt.

All in all it was a beautiful read.
I recommend this book.

Ok I have both negative and positive things to say about this book so here goes Negative first The book desperately need a good editor to chop out half of the story the description wjere way to long yes you need description but not to the detail that this book goes into, Need more detail on the past between the Black Falcons and the Savage Saviours not a huge detail just a bit of a history. More needed about the chemistry between the two main characters

Now the positive

A great premise for a story and with a little work this series could be amazing I loved the backstory for both Derek and Eve there was so much potential for a great storyline between them
Overall a book that needs work and could be so much more

Derek is still reeling from the loss of his wife and child. All he can think of is revenge and how he is going to get it. Eve's life is forever change by what her She meets Derek one night when she's working and he is out looking for trouble. Something about Eve draws Derek to her even though he's grieving he can't seem to stop thinking about her. Eve doesn't dare to dream that her life will get better even meeting Derek doesn't seem to give her hope. Can Eve and Derek see that they will bring the light into each other's lives?

This is an emotional rollercoaster ride of a story. There will be times when you want to toss it aside and not read any further but it'll draw you back in. This is a well written and very entertaining story.

It took me awhile to give this review. I don’t recall ever reading anything from this author, prior to this book.

The thought of losing one love and then finding another, is always a good storyline... however when your betrayed by family it hard to forgive.

My review is just as confusing as the book... there’s a bright spot... the chemistry between the characters are genuine and will keep you reading the book.
Either way, I look forward to seeing more... second time around...to make it good.

I am a huge fan of MC books and was excited to see a new series come about. Well I am a bit disappointed with this one unfortunately. Not only was the book very slow, the first few chapters made no sense and was a bit confusing. After I read through those chapters the book was just too slow to keep my attention and put the book down several times. I was hoping Eve and Derek would pull me in after that but it just didn't happen for me. Now having said that, just because I didn't thoroughly enjoy this book, that doesn't mean you won't. Please read all the reviews as well as the authors synopsis to see if this one is a book you may enjoy.

I'm not sure what to say about this book. I generally love MC romances which this is not. Although well-written, the story is very gritty and dark. I struggled through the book as I didn't like the main characters and the story-line is not one that I enjoy. I guess I like my books a little lighter with lots of steam and a HEA. If you enjoy vicious, dark, spine-chilling stories with the murder of a wife, unborn child, brother, mother and father and also a woman sold by her brother into a human sex trafficking ring, then this book is for you. In addition, “Savage Mercy” ends with a cliff hanger which I hate.

This is the first book I have read by either of these two authors. I felt that it stated out a little slow and had some difficulty getting into the story. However, I am glad I stuck with it as it picked up. Overall, I would say it was a good story and would give it 3.5 stars. Eve and Derek both have troubled pasts and stories that are heartbreaking. Once they found each other, I couldn't help but root for them. They were good for each other. Their story is an emotional rollercoaster filled with highs and lows, drama, twists, and great chemistry. I am interested in reading the next book.

So I didn't hate this book but conversely I didn't love it. The first few chapters were incredibly confusing and just a tad slow. Fortunately the book did pick up about half way through and I will say it's pretty gritty stuff throughout. The story line is complex and well developed once you get past the first few chapters.
On the whole the book is well written, however I come back to my usual rant about editing, there is a world of difference between the meaning of through and threw. So often (not just in this book I have to say) these grammatical errors seem to be happening, as I'm reading it on KU it's not such a big deal I would be pissed if I'd paid full price though.

Bleh

Honestly, I didnt even fishish the book. By the 50% mark there was only 1 line interaction, then by the 60%mark there was basically a lunch date worth of interaction. I am all about building up your characters so that you have a back story and what not( which was quite good) but there has to be more between the characters. Don't lure me in with a description that promises a great story, then show no interaction between the two characters for the majority of the book. Maybe the interaction that I want is later in the book, but I just got tired of waiting for it to arrive.

The storyline itself? Fantastic. The blurb intrigued me. Hard hitting? Dark? Barbaric? Definitely not. It just seemed to meander along in all directions. The editing was poor. For a group? Gang? MC? leader Derek was a really weak one. His mother, father, pregnant wife and his brother all killed by a rival MC and he is just riding around feeling sorry for himself. This could be a mind-blowing epic story if half of the airy fairy crap was deleted and the story tightened up. It did have it's moments but unfortunately they were few and far between. If it is ever re-written the way it needs to be, I would like to read it.

Although I got the box set of Savage Saviors MC I always do my reviews on the individual books.
It took me a couple of chapters to get into this story, but once I was in, it's where I stayed until I had finished.
Twists, Turns and surprises await you within the pages of this book. Some of the surprises you may see coming where as others you won't. Some surprises are large while others are small, but they are all equally important as each other.
I felt each and everyone of the emotions that the characters went through, I even went through some of them with the character concerned.
If you are an MC fan out there that hasn't read this series then you should give it a go.

This is the first book in the “Savage Saviours’ series and it is an emotional read. Derek and Eve have suffered some of the worst tragedies imaginable and are each other’s hope. Not much action happened in this book, in my opinion it is more information based; hopefully more action will be seen in the books to follow. It is a really interesting gripping read and I am willing to read the next book to see where the author takes this series.

While this book started off incredibly gripping I feel it felt a little flat in the middle for me but then picks up in the end again. The characters were provided great depth and getting into the mental status of the two characters was well documented. Derek was just trying to find his feet again and wants nothing more than to avenge and poor Eve and her back story.

I really wish I could give this more stars but it fell flat to me in parts and I feel it could have been a little more polished.
