Beverly Hills, 1987

The opulence and glamour of the eighties surround Cameron Collins in his job as a successful film producer, but the dragon is mostly immune to it.

After losing his wife years ago when an uncontrollable mid-air shift sent her plummeting to her death, he knows he’ll never find another woman like Tess. Now, their son Andy is the only thing that soothes his aching heart.

Samantha Parker has decided to leave her Midwestern hometown behind -- and hopefully, the relentless spirit that’s been tormenting her thoughts along with it.

After gossip spread about the preschool teacher being a medium, she feels she needs a new start and accepts the invitation from her longtime friend, Jane Vinson, to come to Los Angeles.

Cameron’s devastated when his nanny leaves to care for her ailing mother, and when he’s introduced to Samantha, she seems like the perfect candidate.

But when they meet, Samantha ignites a fire deep within Cameron’s lonely soul. He feels guilty about his undeniable pull to her and knows he should keep his distance. Little does he know -- she has otherworldly experience -- that’s not on her resume.

When Samantha’s contacted by the spirit realm in his home, will he send her packing, or will her visions play a role in healing his wounded heart so he can love again?

Cameron’s Nanny is a 33,000 word standalone novella with steamy shifter scenes intended for readers 18+.

An enjoyable read with Shifters and mates, and trouble around every corner. Nothing will keep these mates.

The pages kept turning because I wanted to know what happened.

These books are quick and easy reads.

ENTICING, exquisitely romantic and a slow burn. This paranormal romance is a feel-good, spicy novella
I have been honored to read the manuscripts which make up the Beverly Hills Dragons series by Meg Ripley. As it has been with everything I have read by this author, Ripley’s prose is descriptive and easy to read, her characters are superbly developed - especially for a novella. and the plot is complex and compelling. My only regret is the story’s short length. It was too soon to say goodnight and in an unusual move, there were a couple of issues left floating at its end. However, “CAMERON’S NANNY” is still worth both a reader’s time and the cost of admission to this parallel-earth’s paranormal romance. Additionally, Ripley’s use of dual narration had me rapidly falling in love with both Cameron’s and Samantha’s characters. Then adding little Andy to the mix was sheer genius! (Who doesn’t just melt when a 5-year-old flashes puppy-dog eyes??) I was rooting for their happily ever after all the way. If you have a heart for the damaged, broken-hearted, or lonely; then “CAMERON’S NANNY” must be your next read! I voluntarily read a copy of “CAMERON’S NANNY” and this is my honest, voluntary review. Get your copy today. Happy pages! 😊

Cameron Collins, a successful film producer, flew through the night sky, thinking about Tess who had been gone for four years now after an incurable dragon virus took her life. She had just given birth to his son, Andy. She would have been proud of his success; she always knew he would make it big. He still talked to her in his mind, missing her presence in his life.

As he flew back to his home, Cameron noticed quite a few lights on upstairs and downstairs. That was unusual. But Andy’s nanny was waiting in the kitchen, still fully dressed in her daytime clothes. She asked him to sit so they could talk. She had gotten a call that her mother was dying and she decided to return to home permanently. Cameron would miss her very much and had no idea how he would ever replace her. He felt she was a real part of his family.

Samantha was packing to join her friend, Jane, in California. A dark spirit had continuously visited her and taken her to a battle somewhere. When her fiancé saw her act out her struggle with the spirit and tear apart the room, he moved out and told people about her. With everyone aware of her scary spirit abilities, it was difficult to deal with their mistrust and nervousness around her. It was affecting her job and her life in the community. She would move away, start new and hope for the best.

Cameron stopped in to see his friends at Indulgence. Blane, an actor and friend, was there and encouraged him that he might find someone to settle down with, but Cameron said there was no one like Tess and he wouldn’t want a woman who only wanted him because of his business success. In the meantime, he needed a full-time nanny rather than temps. When the door at the celebrity club opened, Cameron’s eyes locked with a beautiful woman entering with Blane’s sister, Jane. They walked over to Cameron and Blane and introductions were made. Cameron wasn’t sure he wanted to shake Samantha’s hand because she was making his brain feel fuzzy, and he felt electric sparks move up his wrists. His dragon was fighting to get out! Although most of the movie crowd knew he was a dragon shifter, he didn’t let it be known to others.

Blane told his sister that Cameron needed a nanny for Andy, and Jane immediately recommended Sam since she had been a pre-school teacher. She might even be able to help Andy with his stuttering problem as he became more comfortable with her. Cameron liked that she was more concerned with his child than with her own securing of a job. He knew she wasn’t “normal” in some way, but he couldn’t figure out how she was different. Touching him, she had felt a surge of psychic energy but released her hand before the vision came. After a few weeks of peace, the dark spirit found her again. Digging claws into her, it urged her to fight, but a dragon flew down and she came out of the vision. What did this mean? Was someone trying to get a message to her? Would Cameron find out about her visions and ask her to leave?

This is another wonderful book in this series that takes the reader into the home of a dragon shifter. The story line is good, with a touch of mystery about what the dark spirit is trying to force Samantha to do. The characters are well developed and likable. There is hope that Cameron and Samantha, perhaps with a little help from somewhere, can find love, healing, and a family life for the three of them to share. Grab your copy and enjoy where this wonderful story takes you!

Although this is part of a series I haven't read, I feel like this can be read as a stand alone story. Yes, you can tell some of the characters have a history and you should know who they are, but you can still understand this story. The book is set in 1987 and the cultural references of the time will take you back to that time frame if you were alive then. Those references did make me chuckle a few times.

Cameron is a dragon shifter and has been raising his son as a single parent since his wife died four years ago. His nanny, a grandmotherly woman, moves to be with her ailing mother. Samantha is a preschool teacher and is leaving her small town because of how the town treats her after learning she can communicate with the dead. Her best friend lives in Beverly Hills and she moves there to start over. On Sam's first night out on the town with her friend Jane, she meets Jane's brother and his friend, Cameron. Jane lets Cameron know that Sam would make a perfect nanny so he interviews her and hires her. What transpires from there, their connection and Sam's connection with Cameron's son, Andy is part of what I loved about this book. Cameron has his struggles and Sam still has to deal with the visions that haunt her. I adored Andy. He was such a lovable, sweet boy. I also really like Tess. The way to a HEA isn't always a smooth one but this one couldn't have happened to two nicer people.

The characters are complex and believable with such depth and individuality it's easy to relate. They're written with such realism it really pulls this little jewel together brilliantly. The scenes are so graphically detailed and descriptive it's easy to picture each scenario as they play off one another in perfect balance. i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the fourth book in the Beverly Hills Dragons series. In this book, Cameron is a film producer and a single father to four year old Andy. When Cameron's long time nanny has to leave to go back to Germany to care for her ill mother and Cameron has to find a new nanny. Samantha is a preschool teacher and she is a medium. When word spread about her gift, people thought she was evil and her fiance left her. Samantha wanted a new start, so she moved to California to see her friend Jane and Jane introduced Samantha to Cameron. Cameron was attracted to Samantha and after talking to her, decided to hire her as Andy's nanny. Samantha was haunted by a spirit and tried to escape him, only to have him continue to haunt her more. When Cameron's dead wife Tess started coming to Samantha, Samantha knew she wanted to get a message to Cameron. I really enjoy this series. I liked this book, i liked Cameron and thought he wanted to be happy, but was scared it would mean he would forget his late wife. Another good one.

Cameron’s wife died from a disease that only effects dragons and there is no known cure. His son has been cared for by a beloved Nanny that now has to return home as her mother is ill.
Samantha gets contacted by ghosts, not always making a lot of sense. Once her ex-fiance tells everyone in her home town , they want nothing to do with her. So, when her friend in America asks her to move out there, she jumps at the chance of a fresh start. She quickly becomes nanny to Cameron’s son Andy and all is well until she is contacted again and again by a dark shadow and a red dragon.

This is another great read in this series. I really felt for Cameron and his son losing Tess and trying to find a suitable replacement of the Nanny. This was an enjoyable read that I completed in one go. I happily recommend it.

Cameron is a dragon shifter and has been raising his son, Andy as a single parent since his wife died four years ago. When his current nanny quits to take care of her ailing mother Cameron finds himself in need of a new nanny. Samantha is a preschool teacher who finds herself moving after the people in town discover she can communicate with the dead. She moves in with her friend Jane who decides to show her around town. They end up stopping at a famous club where she meets and ends up interviewing for Cameron to be his new nanny. This was a very enjoyable read. The chemistry between Cameron and Samantha was sizzling. The story had great secondary characters and I enjoyed the relationship that developed between little Andy and Samantha. I really liked this book and highly recommend it.

Another delightful dragon shifter story! I have read several books by this author and I think this is one of my favourites to date. It is a charming shifter story about finding love where you least expect it. It is a fairly short read - I read it in about 2 hours. The plot is detailed, well thought out and flows nicely. The shifting in the story is nicely described and detailed. The author has once again created engaging and extremely likeable characters. And bringing a character who is a medium into the story added another level of creativity and freshness to the plot. This was a charming and enjoyable story!

a great dragon shifter nanny story with great family emotion and plenty of steam as well. Cameron is a dragon shifter who has lost his mate to death by illness, then the Nanny who had been caring for his son is called home to the old country leaving him in need of a caretaker of his young son. Samantha is a medium who is tortured by her gift and feels the need to leave her old town when her former boyfriend tells everyone about her hidden gift and the whole town riddicules her making her quit her job as a preschool teacher. When the two of them meet and she becomes his nanny after she moves to California both of their lives change.

Dragon widower, Cameron, is still mourning the loss of his wife Tess and has their beloved son Andy to keep him focussed. But it's a life and not really living. That is until Samantha comes on the scene. Samantha is a teacher but who is also a medium which upsets her fiance. She is so unsettled that she accepts her friends invitation to come out West and this is when she meets Cameron who needs a new nanny for Andy. And when they met - wow! These two souls need each other and their is plenty of passion in this fast paced story by the best selling author, Meg Ripley. Great characters that were so easy to love and a great storyline that is so well written. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Definitely recommended!

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Cameron is a dragon shifter who lost his wife four years ago and has a son, Andy. His current nanny is leaving to go home to take care of family. Samatha is a pre-school teacher who heads to Beverly Hills and her friend Jane after the town turns on her when they learn she's a medium. Sam and Jane go out and meet Jane's brother and his friend Cameron. Jane suggest that Cameron hire Sam to be his nanny for Andy. They are attracted to each other, but Cameron is still grieving for his wife and feels guilty. You'll have to read this book to see what develops. I really enjoyed it, but I wish it had been longer.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

This is another good story in the Beverly Hills Dragons series, it can be read as a standalone story. Cameron's a single dad after the passing of his wife, now his long-term nanny is leaving and his son is in need of a new one that can help him. He meets Samantha, a nursery school teacher and a medium who is need to start over from her home town. The chemistry between them is sizzling and she falls instantly for little Andy as well. There is lots going on in Samantha's life but meeting this family is the best thing so far. Definitely entertaining, wonderful characters.

A quick read with feelings of miss understood and wanting acceptance. Samantha is a medium that her small town doesn't understand. She is leaving to go stay with her friend that is a dragon and start over. Cameron has lost his wife and now the only person who has been taking care of his son is leaving him too. Cameron is a famous film director. What will he do for a nanny? Will Sam's friend be able to help her get a job? What will happen when they find out the truth about her? What happens when Cameron finds out about her? Can the sparks lead to anything?

I always have loved Meg Ripley and Cameron's Nanny is another of her great reads. You always know just what to expect when you get one of the series. A hot Shifter read with plenty of hot steamy passion, a hugely romantic dominate shifter man and a sweet kickass woman. All wrapped in a pretty bow with a satisfying finish. I love these. Samantha and Cameron have so much going on in their lives and the passion between them is great. I love how Meg brings back the other characters and weaves them into the story. Also in this series how she goes back in time to bring in some well known Hollywood stars.

Meg Ripley knows how to captivate the reader from the first letter and right through to the end with her steamy shifter romances filled with thrilling moments and enjoyable characters you'll fall in love with.

Samantha has abilities that scares the people in her hometown. Feeling like she has no other choice, she moves to start over. At her first night in her new town she meets Cameron Collins. He is a widower and a father and Samatha is drawn to him instantly. But can se reveal her secrets to him?
This is a sweet and entertaining story.

I am volunteering to leave a review of an ARC of this book.

I love all of the stories from the "Beverly Hills Dragons Series" by this amazing author, Meg Ripley! Each story has a different plot, a different flow yet similar too... won't spoil it for you guys but let's just say our hunky alpha dragon males are bit too stubborn for their own good and it takes a good and strong woman to gain their trust and claim their soul. I loved Cameron's Nanny and so will you, so go ahead and read this, pinky promise, you won't regret doing so ;)

A spirited book

A human haunted by spirits, a dragon haunted by his lost wife and a cute little boy who is losing everyone he loves Could have been a very sad and depressing book but was instead full of love and support A shifter romance in the true sense of the word instead of steam and heat and hints of love thrown in to make if appear romantic. I am not normally a fan of nanny romances but this one is well worth reading

Cameron experiences a heartbreaking loss and he closes his heart to everyone but his son. When he needs a new Nanny for his son he hires Samantha who moved away from her old town because of her ability to hear from the spirit world and the reaction of the people in her home town. Once she starts working for Cameron she starts getting a lot of contact from the other side. What could it all mean & is it at all possible that she is the one who will open Cameron’s heart again? Fabulous characters and an intense story line make for riveting reading.

Meg Ripley has yet to disappoint me

Samantha, an early childhood educator, moves to L.A. where she meets Cameron, a popular film producer, at a night club and interviews to be his son's nanny. As the story progresses his past holds him back, her secret comes to light and one may be the solution for them both. Meg Ripley has yet to disappoint me in her quick afternoon shifter reads and this one is no exception.

A sexy hot dragon shifter who is a single father, an ex preschool teacher who is haunted by a dark shadow and so much more. This was a fast paced, well written storyline that had wonderful characters with steamy chemistry. Cameron is a film producer who needs to find a new nanny for his son Andy. His old nanny had to return home to Germany. Samantha has been friends with Jane since they met at summer camp. Samantha gets the nanny job thanks to Jane and really takes to Andy.

The latest Beverly Hills Dragon book features Cameron, a widowed Hollywood producer with a five year old son and Samantha, the new nanny who is also a medium. Sam is troubled by recurring visions while Cameron struggles with the idea of a new relationship. I quite liked Cameron and Samantha and Andy was adorable. I only wish more time had been spent on explaining the resolution to her visions - it was slid over rather quickly. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is a story you can read in your lunch break. It won't get you got and steamy and it won't make you weep too many tears, you may cry a tiny bit but two tissues should suffice. However it will make you feel warm and fuzzy inside.
This is a feel good story and if it was a film it would have Jennifer Aniston in it - so you know what you'll be getting.
What will steal your heart is little Andy, a little dragon boy with a speech impediment and shyness? OMG sign me up!

I loved this story. I hadn't read the other books in the series but love that you don't need to in order to enjoy the story. I loved that the dragon shifters don't hide from normal humans and everyone interacts like normal. This was such a great story and even though it wasn't super long, the characters were developed properly where you can see how their relationship developed as well.

I thought Samantha was such a wonderful person. She had been through so many people being horrible to her and she still had such a beautiful heart. I was glad that Cameron was able to let her in so he could heal. Andy was such a cute kid I loved him. Cameron and Samantha built up to a great relationship and I loved this.

I loved Cameron and Samantha’s story! I especially loved how Tess was brought in and helped Samantha out, I think this one might be one of my favorites in the Beverly Hills Dragon series. I highly recommend this book and yes, it has an HEA ending and no cliffhangers. I hope that a short Christmas book bringing all the “Nannies” together comes out so we can see how all the families are doing!
