Relief and renewed vigor through the use of cannabinoids like CBD

Trial/corporate lawyer turned wellness advocate, Don McLaughlin, and his co-author and journalist, Doug Brown present a very brief book (40 pages) that contains more information about a subject too few understand – the benefits of hemp-derived CBD especially in sports medicine but also for the general population. Both live and run and enjoy heightened physical activity in Colorado.
In an accessible manner the authors describe that various forms of cannabis – yes, the ‘drug’ many youngsters and young people find so entertaining in the vaporized/smoke format. It is obvious that cannabis in the form of hemp –extracted CBD is becoming popular in its many forms – just watch television commercials or online ads.

What this book explains are the various forms of pant extracts that provide energy and endurance, reduction of anxiety, anti-inflammatory benefits, use as a sleep adjunct, and athletic achievement.

The book is beautifully written with many color photographs and just the right amount of mix between science and good sense.

This little book should be read not only for enlightenment, but also for guidance in possibly adding CBD to YOUR lifestyle. Recommended.

Enjoyed the chapter on inflammation

Inflammation, both noticeable(through pain) and non noticeable(internal and chronic) is something that we all should read up on. This book lays out the relation between CBD and CB2 receptors and how we can utilize this knowledge to tackle inflammation in a safe, health and effective way.

All claims are backed by science, and I loved the clickable links in the text!
