I was looking for a short Christmas read in between the Holidays. This book was short but unfortunately it was lacking the Christmas spirit I was looking for. I also didn’t feel much connection with either the characters. This could possibly be due to the hero previously appeared in another book and I haven’t read that one.
What I like about this one is that it wasn’t so sweet. The heroine was a virgin (or course lol!) but she wasn’t totally innocent.
Naughty or Nice would appeal to readers looking for a short sexy story in time for the Holidays.

I've been waiting for Brian's story since I finished Hungry For More. Finally, I read it.
The story is about Brian and Claudia.
He's Sage's brother and Jensen's best friend and business partner from Hungry For More.
The day before Thanksgiving, he's supposed to meet and give the building plan to Aaron Slate. Instead, he met her. It was love at first sight but she tried to fight it.
Her brother's the right-hand man of Aaron Slate and they're not good people. He doesn't even care about her. They told her to agree to whatever Brian wants or they'll do something to the animal shelter where she volunteers.
She agreed to have dinner with him. She can't fight her feelings anymore but what will happen if her brother comes to get her?
The story's good. I just didn't like part of it because of my personal preference but I loved the epilogue.

Classic Alexa Riley holiday story with everything you could possibly want.
Claudia is living in the house left to her and her brother Mark by her much beloved grandmother. But her brother is mixed up with some bad people and now she’s involved too. Told that she needs to keep Brian happy however he wants, it goes against everything in her but she doesn’t want to disappear and knows that a possibility if she doesn’t do as she’s told. But her feelings for Brian aren’t make believe, as hard as it is for her to accept she’s fallen hard and fast for him but how will he react when he discovers the truth and will she make it out alive?
Brian always goes off his gut instinct and from the moment he saw Claudia he knew she was made just for him. He will take her anyway that he can get her even doing business with the local gangster. But once he learns more about how she’s living he will do all it takes to keep her safe and protect her from even her own brother. Finding her gone he goes in search of his true love, but will he make it time before he loses her forever?

Naughty Or Nice es el tipico libro de Alexa Riley, pero me gusto especialmente que la pareja protagonista fuera mas tierna de lo que nos tienen acostumbradas estas autoras.
No es de mis favoritas, pero es rapida y dulce de leer.

Claudia is forced, err asked to do a favor for her older brother and meets Brian at this time. Brian is instantly intrigued and curious about her, yet her attitude is one of no trespassing. Doing what he needs to in order to have contact with her, not realizing the position that points her in, he informs the head guy, the one who controls her brother who in turn has too much power over her, he'll only deal with Claudia.
As the bad guy has a lot riding on the project with Brian's company going through, he informs Claudia she will do whatever she needs to to ensure that happens. Claudia knows she should be insulted, but there's a pull to Brian, one she's never experienced before and she hopes he can be trusted.
While Brian and Claudia get to know each other, and the former is already planning their HEA, it becomes clear to him just how dangerous some people are in her life and begins taking steps to keep her safe.
Can Brian save Claudia from the life she's been forced into after losing her beloved grandmother? How far will her brother go to get what he wants and to please his boss? What does that boss have in mind for Claudia? Will Brian and Claudia get their forever?

I’m not sure what happened here, but it wasn’t what I expected. I grabbed this one from KU while looking for a quick smutty Christmas read. AR are my go too girls for quick smutty fun, but this one was super light on that component. Sadly, it was also light on Christmas theming. I thought that would be more of a focus. It was still an enjoyable short read.
What I enjoyed:
It was insta everything!
It’s in line with traditional AR titles.
And, was a super quick read.

Fairy tale lovey dovey with weak heroine who couldn't resist the tempation from the caveman. OTT as always. Sex became more porn-y than ever. Hmph.
Shame on the cover because it is really beautiful but not for the story.

Claudia solo tenía que ir a recoger unos planos y eso sería todo. Su hermano últimamente estaba comportándose raro pero mientras siguiese las instrucciones todo iría bien. Pero la persona que le entrega los planos es Brian, y Brian no es un hombre acostumbrado a dejar las cosas pasar. Así que Claudia y el volverán a verse muy pronto.
Son muy monos 😍 no me acordaba de Brian hasta que salió su hermana Sage y recuerdo haber leído su libro. Me encantan los hombres cavernícolas, lo sabéis, pero en este caso es más un caso de protección y amor que de ser cavernícola. Me encantan ❤️

Another Insta-love Christmas goodie between an obsessed hero, a coerced heroine, chasing, some family drama, action and sweet HEA with adorable epilogues.
Yes, I know it's March, and I'm the grinch, and though it did not melt my heart, it did thaw it a little.
Extra half star for the Jurassic park reference, .25 more for that amazing cover.

I was so happy to get Brian's story!!! In Hungry for More I thought he might've been a jerk, but NOPE, a girl got him alllll twisted up. I genuinely really liked Brian and Claudia. They also had one of the HOTTEST scenes I think Alexa Riley has ever written. Naughty or Nice isn't REALLY a Christmas story, but it's a sweet, naughty, and nice read.

I was wondering about the brother from Hungry for More, so I'm glad that I got his story. And this thing doesn't end here. I mean, once again I have another character I'm curious about in Naughty or Nice. Alexa Riley power, I guess. Lol.

Alpha on the move! Brian has to have her. One brief meeting that lasted minutes and this work a holic is done. He's never thought about forever but when he meets Claudia this man is off the market forever.
It's wayyy over the top, but that's what I love about these books. There fast and sexy and just so sweet you can't help but eat them up in one sitting.

There was nothing wrong with this book. It was well written with an obsessed hero that will stop at nothing to get his woman. I just found it a little boring. Maybe it’s time a took a break from short instalove reads or maybe this one really was just on the boring side. Not sure but while it was fine, it won’t be a reread for me.

Brian Carter is the protective older brother of Sage from HUNGRY FOR MORE. Brian watched his best friend and business partner, Jensen fall in love with his sister Sage. Claudia does a favor for her POS brother, Mark and delivers blueprints to Brian Carter. Brian was expecting to meet Aaron Slate, a man anxious to do business with Brian. As soon as Brian sees Claudia he can’t get her out of his head and he texts and calls her with no response. Aaron Slate is a criminal and Claudia’s brother works for him. Aaron and Mark pay Claudia a visit and tell her to answer Brian’s calls and to keep him happy or something will happen to her beloved animal shelter. Claudia agrees to have dinner with Brian not certain if he knows what her brother and Aaron have asked of her.

I received an Advance Reader Copy of the book. This is my honest and voluntary review.
Naughty or Nice might be one of my favorite Alexa Riley books yet. It was sweet, there was tension, the heroine was feisty yet innocent, and the hero was alpha and obsessed in a way that shocked even himself! If that's not a formula for greatness, I don't know what is. The chemistry between Claudia and Brian was so intense and I really enjoyed the drama that her brother and his boss brought to the story. The steamy bits are INCREDIBLE. Just.... all the yes! And I'm hoping that Brian's cop friend and the stripper he seemed drawn to are getting their own story soon. 4 out of 5 wine glasses.

No Depth
Story had real potential but gets lost along the way. Alexa Riley does a great job in setting up Claudia as a real submissive, one could feel it your bones and the author flirts with that theme a bit but just drops it. The initial sex scenes are good but after Brian her lover rescues her from the local mob their relationship turns into puppy dog mush. Claudia and Brian could have had a HEA, Claudia deserved it but the storyline could have evolved there and had more depth than the super sonic fairy tale ending we got.
