This was such a cute book, I wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much. So we meet Juliette a small town girl trying to make it in Hollywood. She finally gets her break to star in a movie and her co-star is the hottest guy in Hollywood, Dominic. When they meet the sparks are flying and they end up having a hot night, but when they get to work in the morning there is a new clause in the contract, they are to not have any romantic entaglements. Dominic has a playboy reputation and has dated and slept with all of his co-stars so Juliette does not see a problem signing the contract since she already had her night with him and doesn't expect anything more since he is love them and dump them type or so they say plus this is her big break and she isn't going to lose it over some guy. Dominic signs it also but is upset since he really liked Juliette and wanted to see where they could go. Contract in place do they risk it? Read it and Enjoy!

Juliette is a small town girl that is living her dream after becoming Dominic’s co-star. Dominic has a reputation of being a bad boy womanizer and the studios are tired of his antics with his co-stars throwing off schedules and costing the studios money. So they write a clue into his contract. He can’t have his co-star. If Juliette were not the one for him he could do this but he knows she is the one and no one is going to stand in his way from winning all of her, heart, body and soul.

Frankly I was shocked by how much I loved this story. It was not what my preconceived notion of what it would be. This story was very sweet, fun, and exciting to read. The element of forbidden added an extra dose of YES to the story. I feel in love with these characters and was fully engaged pretty much from chapter one. I have enjoyed Layla Valentine stories in the past but this is my new favorite from her. Very well written, great characters and fantastic world building that sucks you into the story and easily keeps you in its grips turning the pages as fast as possible.

I’m a big fan of Layla Valentine’s stories and she’s teamed up with Holly Rayner and that makes this a fantastic collaboration to a fantastic story. Domonic is a movie star he’s always getting into trouble with his co stars by bedding them and be damned the consequences. Now his producers are making him sign a contract to leave his co stars alone but when he meets Juliette the contract went right out the window. Juliette was a small town girl she was told that she wouldn’t make it in this business but she was lucky enough to get a co starring role with the bad boy of tinsel town Domonic. With a night of passion between them how are they going to be able to keep their hands off each other and keep this a secret?, there is a little surprise that comes along but will it be the death of their careers?. I loved this story it’s a 5 plus ⭐️ read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

What a great story about a hometown girl who makes it big and gets the man of her dreams. Juliette is a young lady with dreams of making it big in Hollywood. Dominic is an A list actor who has had a reputation of dating quite a few of his costars. The two meet when Juliette is cast as his leading lady. The sparks are there from the beginning. Even though they are very attracted to one another is it strong enough to make them each risk being discovered? The difficulty lies in the fact that these two already met before staring opposite one another and can not deny the feelings they have for one another. This is a well written book and I loved how entertaining it was to read. I loved the chemistry they had and how willing hey were to find a way to be together. I absolutely loved the HEA!

Juliette is a small town girl that wants to be an actress. When she finally gets her big break her co-star is Dominic a playboy with a reputation. When Dominic meets Juliette he knows she's the one for him. They go out to dinner and end up having an amazing night together. However when they arrive at work the next day there's a clause written into their contracts that will cost them money if they become involved during shooting. They are both upset but sign it anyways. Dominic isn't about to let that clause stop him from claiming his woman. Will they get caught before shooting is over?

This is a great story that will draw you in from beginning to end. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Sweet country girl captures the heart of a Hollywood hunk in The Sweetest Mistake, by Kayla Valentine & Holly Rayner.

Juliette Dietz gets her big acting break co-starring with hollywood A-list actor, Dominic Hawk & their attraction for each other is off-the charts. There's just one problem,  Hawk has a reputation of messing around with his co-stars so the producers slap them with a morals clause restricting their off camera fraternizing. (Which only makes them want each other more.)

A quick read, really novella length, there was not a lot of depth to the characters and the ending seemed rushed. It was overall an enjoyable story, though.

These two authors when they combine always write wonderful stories and this book is no exception

Juliet is an actress about to get her big break the only problem been her co star will be Dominic, he has a reputation of been a heartbreaker that always takes up with his female co stars. When they meet the attraction is instant but for Dominic this is something different he thinks that this could actually be the woman for him. When paperwork is signed next day there is a clause to stop him in his tracks he isn't to date his co star the studios have had enough Will they be able to keep their relationship a secret or is this the biggest mistake he has ever made. A great fun read that I loved from the very first page

Now there contract says only a working relationship is permitted or else they will be blacklisted.

These two cannot keep their hands to themselves, even when they fight taking them too far until a private island.

Then her roommates ultra sound reveals the whole truth....

I liked this story a lot. Funny, cute and instant attraction. It was nice to see how deep he fell for her. I liked Tammi too. Would love to hear her story.

Great ending too. This story is full of chemistry, sweetness and making your dreams come true.

This is the first in the Baby Surprises brand new series by the best selling author, Layla Valentine and it is a fabulous start to the series. It certainly caught my imagination with Juliette and Dominic not being allowed to have a relationship is one sure way for it to start - as forbidden fruit always tastes better! Sure enough, despite the director's efforts they begin an affair but it isn't brief and it does have consequences! These two are fantastic together and the steamy scenes between them will necessitate you getting out your fans/ac and setting them on to MAX COOL. I'm really looking forward to book 2 as this was a real page turner and had a terrific conclusion. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. It's enjoyable enough, there is next to no drama so if you're looking for a drama-free read then this is it.

That said... it was also a lacklustre read. Dominic is meant to be a playboy but we're only ever told this. Dominic's behaviour and personality completely contradicts this assertion, making any tension that is supposed to grow over this just fall flat.

I think it would have been really interesting if the playboy rumour had been spread by an ex or Price. Price's class prejudice could have really been played into, especially when he's technically the antagonist in the story.

As it is, it's an okay read but I don't see any of the other books in the series being any different so I won't be continuing the series.

This was a very good read. Juliette was an actress who got a chance for a part in a major picture. Her leading man, Dominic, was known to party with his leading ladies. The producer put a clause in their contract that if they slept together they would lose 2/3 of their paychecks and he would blackball them. (What he didn't know was that they had already slept together) They agreed to abstain for the length of filming. Not likely!! The story had some very hot scenes and the characters were very likeable. I really enjoyed it and LOVED the ending. Kudos

Dominic an famous playboy star, who now has a clause signed not to date his co-star and there is also Juliette, a small town girl debuting in his movie as the leading lady. Always the forbidden fruit is the sweetest and they make a sweetest mistake when they are in an island together that turns to a sweetest surprise. The book was amazing and haut. I enjoyed reading it.

Loved this book so much and highly recommend it.
Juliette an aspiring actress finally gets her big break, her co star is an A list actor renowned for sleeping with all his co stars. When Dominic and Juliette meet the sexual attraction between the two is so intense that they end up in bed the same evening. Dominic has finally found a woman that he could see himself being with and before he can do anything about it a wrench is thrown into their could be relationship and his past has come back to bite him and end their new found romance..

For me the title says it all - Sweet story, and my Mistake. Dominick Hawk has a rep and Juliette becomes his next co star and bed partner - this is where I have issues - Juliette seems to know all about his habit of going through his co stars like wardrobe changes, in fact the Producer forbids them contractually to get involved but she falls for his charms the first night they meet and even with the threat of blacklisting for Juliette they "sneak around" on the deserted island where their movie is being shot. With not one mention of condoms or birth control a baby is no freakin surprise at all. Very boring and cavity inducing.

Oh I loved The Sweetest Mistake by Layla Valentine! Awesome book about small town Juliette and bad boy Dominic. Juliette finally gets her first big acting job opposite the very sexy Dominic. He has quite the reputation for having affairs with his co-stars. Because of this, they are forced to sign a contract forbidding any relationships or have their careers ruined. Dominic is determined to make 'Juliette his. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot! Will Juliette and Dominic follow the rules or follow their hearts?

This was a cute story.

This is a fast pace page turner with a storyline so engaging, interesting, and sweet, I got to the end satisfied and wanting more. The storyline is consistent, realistic, engaging, and will grip you from beginning to end. Beautiful characters with amazingly hot chemistry between them. A truly amazing read! One Sweet Read...
Sweetest Mistake by noted author, Layla Valentine was a delight to read because she gave the two main characters, Juliette and Dominic such wonderful personalities and unique chemistry with each other. With them I saw a lot of growth as the book progressed which I liked...no stagnation in this storyline.
I highly recommend this book for your reading pleasure and enjoyment.

Huge fan of Layla and Holly so together they make a brilliant team. On the same film together, the director does not want any hanky panky going on between the leads. Little did he know that these two have already had some fun together. They make a pact to stay hands off throughout the filming. Can they do it? I absolutely loved this hot romance! Ms. Valentine always makes my heart grow with her stories.

What a wonderfully romantic story. It all happens quickly but the click between the main characters is really great. Although everything is somewhat uncertain at first, they soon discover that they do not want to give up each other. A real feel good book for the holidays. 4 stars from me.

He is a star and is wanted by all the studios. But he is naughty in all things and they are tired of it. She has finally got her big break but hooks up with him for a hot night. Good book

I liked this book, due to the realness of the characters, and the simplicity of the plot. There could've been so much more drama, especially when dealing with actors, but there wasn't. Which I loved most of all. Juliette was such a strong, kind, and honest southern woman, where Dominic was a flirty, handsome, Heartbreaker. These two fit together perfectly.
