What makes a hero? A volume that distinguished between power and intent, strength and belief etc. as a number of heroes contemplate the issues in the wake of the Monster Association's carnage. The Monster Association existence is news flashed across the reality sparking numerous types of response; meanwhile a certain one-punch hero is is finally slowly beginning to build a rep. A reflective volume that promised a lot, but struggled to deliver in its background of over the top monsters and heroes and dead pan humour. 7 out of 12, Three Star read.

I’m really not interested in this arc (and potentially this whole series now). One-Punch Man started off really strong but went downhill for me really fast. The story doesn’t have many scenes with my favorite characters anymore and is instead focused on extremely minor side characters and the monsters.

This was an uneventful and short volume. Most of it focuses on the idea of thriving to be a better hero versus getting stronger. A lot of characters find themselves realizing that there's still plenty of room for improvement, but they all diverge on what sphere they can and should improve on.
The bureaucracy also takes the spotlight here and further emphasizes the flaws of the system and how weak it actually is. The Monster Association will clearly have a lot of fun assaulting the Hero Association.
The ending however restores hope in what is going to be an epic story arc. Can't wait.

Apart from that scene where Sonic makes a delicious dish out of monster cells and attempts to eat it and the amazing Saitama vs King convo, I was kinda bored throughout this volume tbh.

I think it's a even better volume than vol. 14, the massive attack from the Supervillains Society comes to an end, both the superheroes and the villains are licking their wounds and preparing for the next battle, and our MCs both realize no matter how strong you had became, you always still have rooms for improvement both as a hero/villain?
The sense of humor is as great as always, and the two bonus stories are so hilarious!

KING: Have you considered that maybe you're confusing "power" and "triumph"? I tell you this: the noble path of hero is much more than a mere quest for strength. Its ultimate goal can't be reached so easily. Winning hard battles may give you a nice feeling of accomplishment...But what kind of hero lives for nice feelings? What justifies a hero's existence is to protect people, don't you think? A hero is mean to serve society...
What is the pinnacle of heroism? Until you can answer this question, you can't afford to worry about something as trivial as tedium... If you have what it takes to truly live as a hero, that is!
Or at least, that's how I think.

Garou is only One Kick to Saitama. LOL.
Now they recruit Sonic to be a monster, too. If he eats that thing I don't even think if he can entertain Saitama. Not to mention, he cooked the fucking monster cells. LOL. Still disgusting. Ewwww.
The monster association are now plotting to heroes extermination. Well except Saitama is there. Gosh I always look forward to his scenes.
The only thing that really upsets Saitama is his game with King. Indeed King can be real King on video games only though. LOL. Well at least.
OHHHHHHH... Genos has something up his sleeve again. He got his cyborg body renewed again. Interesting!!!
OMG Saitama show up again... But he is only looking for garbage truck. OMG What an environmentally friendly person. He isn't lazy at all, too! Awww soo cute...

It's a great thing to see that One Punch Man returns to its form - a Saitama-centric story, our bald hero doing ridiculous feats in such a menial manner. I hope ONE and Murata can finally be able to top its first huge arc that made me hooked to reading the manga in the first place. This somewhat (very) soft reboot reminds the readers why Saitama wants to be a hero, and what is meant to be a hero. Volume 15 therefore is a good starting point for new readers.
It also seems that we will see Genos and Speed again in action. Puri-puri stole the show with his funny and overly animated theatrics.
I'm interested to see how this arc concludes. The Monster Association is now starting to become a formidable enemy.

I will always remember when Garo, the Hero Hunter getting kicked by Saitama. It was hilarious!!

There was a lot of talking and other exposition in this volume. The fighting is almost all for humor value. King of all people had sound advice for Saitama which I'm sure Saitama will ignore. So the plot advanced at least that happened.

We peek into the nihilistic thoughtful world of Saitama , where he ponders if his life has any meaning or excitement left after being so overpowered. We also had some cool bonding moments between King and Saitama , and found out what the monsters really want and the final few frames gave us an anticipatory battle between Garo and many mid heroes .

Puni-Puni Prisoner is probably one of the most disturbing heroes I have ever seen. It's a good thing he fights against the monsters. Starting out the volume PPP is facing the dangerous porcupine like monster "Free Hugger" and although he does not have to fight it bare handed he is a simple man with simple solutions (and an incredible pain tolerance it seems.) .:)
There seems to be a lot going on as we get to see King offering Saitama advise and a chance to feel better after he started feeling emotionally drained thanks to events from the martial arts tournament. All sorts of other appearances happening in this volume to making this volume feel more like a transitional book seeing as even with the Monster Association openly declaring war on the Hero association, Garo being cornered by a group of heroes in a shack, and Gang talking to his brother Bomb about having to deal with Garo personally. I am sure the next volume (and probably a few after) will have some of these events resolved in one way or another. By the way...any one looking up Armored Gorilla after seeing him? Turns out he is the same creature form the House of Evolution just trying to shop in peace. :)

I'm hard pressed to say something bad about this series normally, more so when it's been so long since I've been able to read a new volume. This issue was not bad, but it was also kind of slow by OPM standards. There was lots of build up for what's actually happening with the Monster Association and what is actually going on with that entire plot line (which was nice because that's been a long time coming.) Saitama and King have a pretty lengthy conversation about what's more important, the destination or the journey as being so strong has left Saitama feeling hallow.
There is really nothing wrong with this volume and some of the ideas that come out help fill out what is sometimes a too action packed book with a little more substance. That being said, it's also hard not to feel a little let down when our hero doesn't really get to do much of anything at all. --This is a 4 star review not 3 because they were smart enough to put Watchdog Man on the cover.

La destrucción que dejan a su paso los monstruos no es nada pequeño, y hasta se harán conocer frente a la Asociación de Héroes, un movimiento que pondrá a todos de cabeza. Además, siento que este tomo fue de acá para allá con algunos personajes, y se logra ver las diferentes decisiones que van tomando, creando vías con diversas circunstancias que YA me encantaría saber qué pasa con cada uno de ellos. Si bien se vio en el tomo anterior, en este continúa, con proposiciones más interesantes.
Algo que destaco, y que siento que fue lo más lindo de este tomo, fue el desarrollo de Saitama. Al principio se lee como una parodia, pero el personaje tiene una profundidad enorme y se hace notar demasiado en este tomo, en donde lo veremos meditar y profundizar. Me gustó muchísimo.

I received my copy from the publisher through Edelweiss+.
I really love this series. That might come as a surprise based on the mountains of shōjo manga in my reading history earlier this year. But it's true. One-Punch Man is hysterical and clever in so many ways, and it's wildly entertaining. This volume is right in line with all the previous ones.
I like where the story is going, but so far volume 13 is still my favorite installment of the series. I think of that volume as a masterclass in how manga should work as a storytelling art form. I could have used more of Saitama in volume 15, but I'm sure there will be more of him later. This is definitely a series that I'll continue to follow.

Fine manga. The story can be fun at times, but the titular character's main gimmick makes the rest of the fights feel bad. You always know that characters could have survived if Saitama had just not been lazy and came to kill the BBG immediately, which makes the tragedy feel forced. However, the idea of a protagonist that is so powerful he becomes complacent is an interesting concept and I think the mangaka does the best he could with it. The art is fantastic; some of the best I've seen. I'd say art and character design is 5/5 but the story is low 3/5.

This one was alright. We're back to the plot with Garo and Saitama is questioning his own strength, but then a lot of the pages in this volume were dedicated to the Monster Association's talks with the Hero Association, which wasn't as fun as the constant fights in the last volume.

Watchdog Man is super strong, it seems! The monsters gather in City Z, while Saitama struggles to find meaning in anything. Get a therapist, man. Great bonus stories once again!
