Rate this book
Youth Pastor Brian Hanson knows loss. He’s lived with it since his pre-teen daughter’s suicide. Instead of remaining in his grief, he’s devoted his life to educating young people about the hazards of bullying. Johnny is an outcast among his peers. Born into a troubled family, taunted at school, and struggling to find his place in the world, the despondent young man believes there’s no hope for him. His skewed beliefs push him to contemplate the unthinkable, but Pastor Brian isn’t prepared to allow another child to end his life.Patricia is the epitome of the “girl next door.” A beautiful teen, she is full of life, a skilled cheerleader, and adored by all. Girls want to be just like her. Boys want to be with her. But not every aspect of her life is perfect. Her star quarterback boyfriend lives life on the wild side. One mistake in the dark of night changes her life forever.Three lives. Each touched by tragedy. Each one craving something greater. Can they find peace, happiness, and a new zest for life after loss?

Have you ever wondered how it would be to attend a school where most students support you instead of bullying you? We all know someone who has been bullied in some way or form in our lives. It is not ok~ Christians will receive their fair share of bullying just for their beliefs. Kids are very cruel to others that show some difference. This book will touch your heartstrings in many ways. It delivers a deeply inspiring message to those who receive and hold their faith in God and His son Jesus. Life will never be easy in today’s world, but we can learn to live by His guidelines to help us cope better. This is just not some fictional story to ponder; this could be you, your neighbor, your child, niece, nephew, friend or someone else you know. Remember, always be kind to one another; stand up for those who are bullied; bring the message forth; keep your faith strong; most of all…know that God is there for us in our troubled times. This is an awesome book that brought tears of sorrow and happiness to me while reading. I truly hope as you read this review, that you take the time to read the messages the book delivers and turn to God for all your needs!
