Deep State Target: How I Got Caught in the Crosshairs of the Plot to Bring Down President Trump
The former advisor to President Trump shares an insider account of the investigation into Russian collusion in a memoir that “unfolds like a spy thriller” (Publishers Weekly). This is not my normal kind of read. I usually don’t pay a lot of attention to political happenings and most of my reading is just for enjoyment so I do not have a large well of comparison to tell you how this book stands up against others in its genre. I also will state that in the current state of affairs I’m not really trusting of government, governments agencies and main stream media at this time either. That said I do feel like this is a solid first had account of how government agencies can overstep bounds and use excessive force in order to railroad common people.
This is an interesting first-hand tale of someone who was ambitious in his mid-twenties and had some interesting ideas of energy and the world stage. Those ideas didn’t really line up with some of the established thinking and he took some criticism for them but there was also some interest on his thoughts. Through a series of events, he ended up on Trumps campaign and was possibly targeted along the way.
There are some very interesting coincidences and other events that happen. Take the story for what you will but ultimately the author was persecuted because he was a member of Trumps team, an easy target, a little too trusting and naïve. That is a personal opinion, but the way the government railroaded him seems a little over the top for who he was and that they were looking to get at a bigger fish, he was just the stepping stone to do it.
This was an interesting story and it did make me think and question what is happening in the world today and if Government Agencies are overstepping their bounds in attempts to further unknown persons agendas.
At least today I’m more aware of agendas that individuals in Washington have and it is interesting to see the story from someone else’s PoV instead of just what Main Stream Media gives us.

A eye witness account pointing out more anomalies in the matrix. (George’s rabbit hole)
George Papadopolous’s first hand, direct-eye-witness report is the latest example of one pointing out in detail, several profoundly disturbing events associated with various United States government entities, or the leadership of those organizations that supposedly gave an oath to protect my rights as noted in the Constitution of the United States.
Most importantly, this first-hand account is a primary source document revealing there are indeed serious discrepancies in the western, mainstream media platforms’ inability to present the facts. For an additional report backing up my assertions that George Papadopoulos has indeed stepped outside (if even accidentally) of the fake social constructs created to control our society, I most strongly recommend the publication, Classified Woman by Sibel D Edmonds and the publication, Into The Buzzsaw, Leading Journalist Expose the Myth Of a Free Press.
In my view, some of the reasons on why I like this book and why I am strongly recommending this publication for the identification of what are state crimes against our constitutional republic can be found here:
1) Turkey’s relationship in the NATO alliance does not appear to be advantageous to most Americans or the geographical umbrella encompassing the people living in that area, specifically when one observes the Mediterranean as a whole, and its relationship to the Black Sea and Russia. I am reminded about the author’s comment pointing out “Turkey’s Drift Towards Authoritarianism and Islamism.”
2) For Additional research that might help to validate the authors comment in a way he might not have necessarily intended, I recommend using your search engine using the terms “Clinton & Fethullah Gulen”. I will not, an interesting development has happened recently in coordination with the timing of my review of this publication in that there are reports Turkey is considering purchasing weapon systems from Russia.
3) General Flynn. I feel is an honorable American, the four-star general was one of the others scooped up in this “fake Russian collusion” coup attempt in our country because in my view, he might have been one of the individuals attempting to correct the illicit connection between the Clintons/Obama and the criminal-terrorist-aspect influencing the Islamic state.
4) One of the coup participants, the now disgraced former CIA director, John Brennan, reported to Congress he had no proof of any sort of Russian collusion but rather he now claims his information initially came from mainstream media, the same platform used in a circular fashion to defame George Papadopoulos.
(On a extended side bar, John Brennan’s speech regarding National Security at NYU in 2010 pointing out about hate crimes against Muslims worldwide, forgot to point out president Carter’s former national security adviser Zbigniew Brznzinski admitted he specifically created Russia’s own Vietnam by exploiting Islam that did not benefit society as a whole but rather just for a select few. Additional examples of my observations can be found by the authors John Lotus, Nafeez Mosaddeq Ahmed, J. Michael Springmann, Alfred W. McCoy, Ian Johnson, L. Fletcher Prouty to name a few. Depending on how deep one is willing to go in the Rabbit hole, I recommend author Joseph P. Farrell’s publication “Hidden Finance, Rogue Networks and Secret sorcery”.
If nothing else, it would be reasonable to ask why did Clapper, who was in charge of the DNI make the comment that the Muslim Brotherhood was secular and then eventually retreat from his claims. Perhaps more importantly the question should be asked why did President Barack Obama report we were specifically funding Isis via the national news.
Perhaps the author’s comment noting a misguided US policy was well timed within the book when one reads about “Obama, Egypt and Chaos” on the same page. A different author, Jeanine Pirro, in her publication, Liars, Leakers, and Liberals: The Case Against the Anti-Trump Conspiracy notes the same discrepancy in a different way when she writes “it all began with his “apology for being American” speech in Cairo, Egypt, in January 2009-the first row filled with members of the Muslim brotherhood, political arm of Hamas, picked by the Obama White House.”
In the same speech Barack Obama said, “I am aware that some question or justify the events of 9/11. But let us be clear: Al Qaeda killed nearly 3000 people on that day”. That’s the same alleged Al Qaeda U.S. policy created and sponsored in Afghanistan to undermine Russian influence in the region, which happens to be the same organization connected to the Muslim brotherhood and Isis.
Continuing on with this view the MSM has failed to inform you about the facts, many Americans are not aware the American mainstream media’s support for Boris Yelsin, who would eventually select Vladimir Putin as prime minister, who eventually would rise to be the leader of Russia, the same Vladimir Putin now used in the American mainstream media, claiming the POTUS and Vladimir Putin are working together to destroy this nation.
I think it would be reasonable to ask; who is the real Manchurian candidate in this mess? To possibly answer this question, I recommend the author Wayne Madsen and his publications, The Almost Classified Guide to CIA Front Companies, Proprieties & Contractors, and the publication, The Manufacturing of a President: the CIA’s Assertion of Barack H Obama Junior into the White House. There’s more but that depends again on how deep one is willing to reach to the Rabbit hole. An additional guide, if you’re ready to take the deep plunge would be Wayne Madsen’s publication, The Star and the Sword. (End of extended side bar)
5) Additionally, It’s imperative to point out Congress reported a different set of facts in the 9/11 Congressional Report, not to be confused with the “created” 9/11 commission report. Finally, I will point out Robert Mueller was headman in charge of the FBI on 9/11 and he reported the FBI had no prior knowledge about what would eventually happen that tragic day however, as noted above, Congress reported something way different AND the mainstream media forgot to tell you about it. This is the same Robert Mueller who was given fake authority and millions of tax payer dollars and two years to deflect the fact there indeed has been a coup attempt in this nation, just like the events on 9/11 as it is today regarding this fake Russian collusion myth.
Bottom line, this book very clearly points out the civil rights of this author was abused because he was not able to initially recall all of the times Joseph Mifsud attempted to use Mr. Papadopoulos as a sock puppet. The deep state actors/players screwed up big time with those fake FISA warrants so they were trying to create a narrative to validate the garbage spun up by the Obama administration. Joseph Mifsud was or is being directed by Western intelligence agencies and the author presents the factual events to prove this.
There is a wealth of information in this exceptional book however I’m mindful that it’s a fresh publication thus it’s important I not present all the details spoiling or unintentionally influencing readers looking to study this report by Mr. Papadopoulos. Even so, it’s very important I note I was honestly touched by Mr. Papadopoulos’ wife and her steadfast commitment while her husband was falling down the Rabbit hole.
Additional authors/publications not noted previously to prove what one will discover while reading this exceptional work can be found in the House Permanent Select Committee on intelligence meeting transcript dated January 29, 2018 that includes both the Numes & Schiff Memos, the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Interview of Glenn Simpson and the Department of justice OIG report into Clinton Email Investigation. This list includes Gregg Jarrett, Dan Bongino, Sara Carter, John Soloman and Tim Fitton from Judicial Watch to name a few others attempting to deprogram the American citizen.
The primary takeaway piece of information I hope one will get while reading my customer review of this publication is that national network news, print media including mostly the cable network news has been compromised so egregiously, it’s not likely these processes will ever be free of the deep state’s psychological warfare on the American population. Additionally, any of my comments in this review does not necessarily assume any of the authors noted in this review agree or disagree with my observations. I also honestly suspect most Americans working in the government organizations referenced in this report are honorable, hard-working Americans that respect the Constitution of the United States as much as I do and they are just as disgusted as I am about the deep state/shadow government efforts to control you.
This publication is most strongly recommend for the identification of what are state crimes against democracy.

Wow. Just Wow. Right now the surveillance of the Trump campaign is under deep investigation by John Durham, a U.S. Attorney many in D.C. call a formidable investigative attorney. What George Papadopoulos wrote in this book before John Durham was assigned his task we are now seeing in the news each passing day to be true. If you're willing to put political ideology aside, and slip into the shoes of George Papadopoulos long enough to read this book, you will be surprised by what you learn. I can't get over the idea--no, the knowledge--that what happened to Papadopoulos could happen to anyone close to me, even happen to me. Everyone needs to read this book, then go vote in November, 2020.

I’ve read quite a few books on the Russia gate issue and this one isn’t the best, but it’s pretty disturbing what the corrupt government can do to an ordinary person. Just think how the supposed current “president” has said he wished to nuke his own citizenry. Pretty crazy stuff. Anyway, I would recommend this book after you have read them all, but Devin Nunez is a good place to start.

Interesting book on prosecutorial overreach and political power able to crush anyone who challenges it. I am sure anti-Trumpers will read this and say Papadopoulos got off easy and should have fried. But anyone with a semblance of integrity and understands how this weapon can be used against all of us, will see that misstating a date or email without the advent of having them in-front of you would be almost impossible. Try it. Think back of a customer meeting or meeting with someone and try to remember details about that meeting after a year or more. It would be almost impossible.
Papadopoulos was an ambitious, young, politico that was obvious looking to increase his clout. His "business" is one that puts you at risk from these types of situations. I would not want to be in his role at the time for no amount of money. Now after the Mueller investigation came back with a no collusion decision, I think Papadopoulos' record should be scrubbed.
I feel Trump will pardon him and have his record expunged. That would be the right thing. Sadly, the left would blow that out of proportion. I am neither a Democrat or a Republican, but anyone with half an ounce of integrity will see that the discrimination against Republicans is unprecedented. I continue to say that in order to normalize this culture of hate towards a specific group , we need to make political affiliation a "protected class". Any attack against someone because of said association, would be tried as a hate crime. Although I do not like regulations, most laws, political parties, I do not see another way out.
The book takes you through the 2 year whirlwind of an International Foreign Affair guy associated to a Presidential Campaign. It reads as a novel with hints of cloak and dagger, Presidential Campaigns, law enforcement overreach and a love story all rolled up.
The book is well written and was engaging. I am sure Papadopoulos wishes he had all the details in this book during the FBI meeting. The one takeaway here is NEVER SPEAK TO LAW ENFORCEMENT WITHOUT AN ATTORNEY. AN ATTORNEY YOU TRUST. If you are unclear which should be anything they ask since they have the advent of planning the question well in advance, should be "I am not sure" or "I cannot recall".
I truly hope we get to the bottom of this flagrant overreach of power and corruption so that we can feel more comfortable in helping FBI and other LOE without fear of ourselves being caught up in it.

I usually don’t read books about the current political situation but since George Papadopoulos was one of the only guys hung up by the failed Mueller Investigation I thought it would be interesting to get his take on the events leading up to his fourteen day jail term (which was ultimately reduced to twelve days for good behavior). Papadopoulos was a young guy trying to make his way in politics, always open to networking opportunities that might gain him traction with the Trump campaign and lead to a job in the administration. He was ambitious. Very ambitious. He turned out to be a pretty easy mark for people who were possible intelligence operatives from the US, Britain and Australia. Perhaps he gives himself too much credit for the reason he was targeted. In his opinion, because his proposed policy was to favor certain countries over others that “they” needed to take him out so his policy proposals would never see the light of day. This seems a stretch to me since he was a campaign volunteer who only had one meeting involving candidate Trump. He traveled all over the world trying to arrange meetings that might benefit the candidate and himself. Along the way some shady characters fed him info that the Russians had a bunch of Hilary Clinton’s emails. I should point out that Papadopoulos didn’t have any specific interest in Russia which was Mueller’s investigative focus. But when a contact told him he could arrange a meeting of Putin and Trump Papadopoulos was interested. His problem was that when the FBI got on to him (and it might have been their own operative who fed Papadopoulos the information) George got his times wrong and was later accused of lying to the FBI which in the end landed him in a white collar prison for twelve days as a result of a plea deal. We’ve all watched enough TV to know that when prosecutors threaten someone with a long jail term it often makes sense to plea out which is what George did. Apparently the judge didn’t think the offense was very serious.
While all this intrigue was going on he met a beautiful Italian woman, a lawyer and actress. They fell in love and married and she became his best advocate. Papadopoulos was pretty dumb most of time. He agreed to interviews without an attorney. Answered questions from memory without his phone or calendar. He finally made a good decision when another sketchy character in Greece hired him as a consultant and gave him $10,000 in cash. He left it with a lawyer in Greece. When he arrived back in the US the FBI was waiting. They were, according to George, disturbed when they couldn’t find what they were looking for. They apparently expected to find the ten grand and make an issue of it. The best they could come up with was the lame charge of lying to the FBI. The FBI hasn’t been looking too good lately. This book doesn’t help their case and I fully expect that in the coming days, weeks or months (certainly before the next election and after the impeachment process burns up the news cycle) that news might get worse for the FBI. In the meantime George Papadopoulos has a book to promote and a life to get on with. He didn’t get much support from POTUS who sort of wrote him off as an unimportant figure. I’m sure this hurt but Papadopoulos still hopes for Trump’s success. And the way, people come and go in the Trump administration George might still have a chance a big job.
While all this intrigue was going on he met a beautiful Italian woman, a lawyer and actress. They fell in love and married and she became his best advocate. Papadopoulos was pretty dumb most of time. He agreed to interviews without an attorney. Answered questions from memory without his phone or calendar. He finally made a good decision when another sketchy character in Greece hired him as a consultant and gave him $10,000 in cash. He left it with a lawyer in Greece. When he arrived back in the US the FBI was waiting. They were, according to George, disturbed when they couldn’t find what they were looking for. They apparently expected to find the ten grand and make an issue of it. The best they could come up with was the lame charge of lying to the FBI. If you are hoping for a detailed and comprehensive timeline of the illegalities by which our corrupted intelligence agencies have sought to undermine the Trump presidency, you'd be better off reading John Solomon's columns or articles on various alternative media sites. If, however, you're looking for a first-hand account of derp state perfidy and their politically-motivated entrapment schemes, then this is your book.

A great document of the corruption of the Mueller investigation.
This was a great read and an important one. Our country is under attack from within by people who care nothing for justice. Traitors who trample the rights of American citizens. America owes George Papadopoulos a debt of gratitude for remaining a true patriot.

This is a book all Americans should read and take heed. It is a very scary time in our nation and the erosion of our basic constitutional rights is a,daily occurrence. What happened to George can and will continue to happen unless Americans stand United to preserve our great nation.

I wasn’t sure how I would like this book since I have heard about his story for awhile now. This book was an excellent read and wasn’t just a re-hash of what I already knew but his story from his perspective by living through it. A fast read and engaging. Once it all comes out I hope he gets his redemption. These are truly scary times we live in. It’s a shame.

I read this book in one sitting. Two-tiered justice is horrifying. To say our country is better than that is completely discredited by this account. There are no boundaries in the deep state's list for power.

I recommend it. An easy, interesting read of 233 pages with many sub-paragraphs making for convenient stopping points. The story is dramatic with international intrigue, deception, fraud, spy vs. spy, shady characters, a love story, politics at the highest levels and it isn’t fiction. You can’t make this stuff up. Character after character after character appear from no-where, arrange meeting with, and attempt to set-up George Papadopoulos in efforts to generate “evidence” relating to the whole Russia collusion matter. George ultimately doesn’t crack after being asked the same questions many times over in hours and hours of interrogation. He does get “nailed” for not remembering the correct sequence of events from months earlier. “Lying” to the FBI cost him a couple weeks in prison. My criticism of George is, he let some of the characters hang-out with him too long, and continued to accept invitations for this, or that, long after he was suspicious of them. The book ends shortly after he is released from his two week stint in prison, with an upbeat outlook for his future. This book gives an inside look at the raw power and the horrifying abuse of that power by our government. If the names were changed for the countries involved and the various characters, reading this book would make you think it is about a totalitarian, tyrannical regime oppressing its citizens.

I think George was trying to be a policy-shaping James Bond type political maverick, so he was illegally stalked and framed as a potential spy by western intelligence.
This book offers some insight into the Deep State so I enjoyed it and it inspired me to write my own book Camsterdam. So thank you for telling your story George. 5 stars

The book is a well-written, fast, easy, and fascinating read. I read the 233 pages in two sittings. George is a humble man with great integrity. Admittedly ambitious and naïve, he honestly tells us his motivations and mistakes throughout.
Mueller reports that Papadopoulos is the impetus of the Trump-Russia collusion suspicion.
George is a bona fide Middle East energy consultant and policy expert with a political science degree from DePaul University and a master’s degree from University College London’s School of Public Policy. He is an American with first generation Greek immigrant parents. He starts building a career in his late 20’s with stints at DC and London think tanks, attending conferences, publishing policy papers, and making industry and political contacts in Europe and the Middle East.
He attracts unfriendly attention in international energy and diplomatic circles when he develops and promotes a policy challenging the status quo US-Turkey-Israel power structure and the billions of dollars of arms and energy deals at stake, wanting to move instead to a new US-Greece-Israel alliance.
When Papadopoulos joins the Trump campaign, he goes from being an international annoyance to an international threat. If Trump becomes President and follows George’s advice, the international energy, diplomatic, and military status quo will be upended. Trump per se is also a grave threat to European-Middle Eastern-Russian, economic, political, and military status quo.
It appears that US and foreign (allied) diplomatic and intelligence agencies conspired to frame a Papadopoulos-Putin-Trump collusion conspiracy to discredit both George and Trump in one fell swoop.
Five separate agents seemingly spontaneously and sequentially contact and attempt to entrap George (and thereby the Trump campaign) into illegally conspiring with Putin, Russians, and to accept money illegally. He initially works for a think tank and writes policy papers that are well received. But these policies go against the Obama Administration policies. He eventually gets hired by a legal advisory company in London. Later, he decides to try to get a job in the Trump campaign. Initially, he ends up with the Carson campaign. Finally he gets his opportunity in the Tump Campaign. The entrapment begins from Misfud to Downer and many other characters in between, that will make your head spin. He refutes statements that are commonly associated with him in the news. Mr. Papadopoulos takes the reader through his interactions with the FBI and the with Muller investigation. It is a must read book.

I'm stunned and numb after reading this book. I just finished at 3am. Started reading it early evening. What an eye-opener! To some it's a validation. To him, he hopes a redemption. DEEP STATE TARGET by George Papadopolous.
I suggest you read it if you are at all interested in the behind-the-scenes workings of politics. What goes on is sometimes evil, desperate and tragic. George tells a tale that is sad, but enlightening in all aspects. I read most books that are written by the D.C. players, and this one definitely needs to be read by the masses. It's on Kindle too, and audio books, as well as print. A page-turner for me.

What was the incentive behind the Russia hoax? Could it have been Obama’s ties to Turkey and Islam? Could the policy aims of one young and naive Trump campaign energy consultant to channel petroleum coinage from pro-Islamic Turkey to more democratic Greece have been the crux of a witch hunt?
These are all questions objective minds should have after reading this expose of tactics used by corrupt and politically biased government operatives.

This is an incredible story. How underhanded our govt has become. The denial of ones basic civil right to have an attorney and not give him a copy of original interview is beyond the pale. Please keep telling your story. Please keep fighting for your rights. I think your conviction will be overturned in the very near future. This is just so scary. I am sure there are others who have had their civil rights denied by the FBI. Maybe George's Army can shed light on the this dark situation. God speed to you! May God protect you a nd this nation.

I give it 5 stars because the author managed consistently to stay away from political analysis.
Instead, he describes facts as they happen and his state of mind at the moment.
The author is very young, naive, ambitious and a little full of himself, so I had to warm up to his personality at first. But he gave me the opportunity to look at the world of politics with his fresh eyes, and he was not cynical about it almost to the very end.

Reading George Papadoulos’ book -> his story resonated with me after my brief stint trying to bring change as mayor of a small rural town. I experienced powerful forces “behind the scene” manufacturing evidence and distoring facts to bring about their objective. Not only was Papadopolous the object of unconstitutional prosecutorial overreach, more importantly his story exemplifies the dangerous movement now afoot to overthrow our democratic republic by those who are unelected, whether they be well-meaning or not.

The banality of entrapment
If this story is true, there are some government employees who need to be going to jail for a long time and then have their citizenship revoked. This is unconscionable that this plot was hatched to ensnare somebody just trying to legally make a living. Of course, to the Left, the end justifies the means, you have to break a few eggs, blah, blah, blah. So they don't care. Chilling.

Papdopoulos reveals the abject corruption of the FBI, and the IC in general
I have given five stars to reflect the importance of Papadopoulos ' revealing how corrupt our intelligence and "justice" communities are - - - terrifying. America will not heal until all guilty parties are appropriately dealt with - and remember, these low-lifes are traitors. Truly, "this must never be allowed to happen again".
