Going Strong !!!
Greg Dragon continues the series awesomely, truly amazing unexpected spins on top of spins and on top of it it all feels so real like you are there with each character.
Absolutely amazing series and by letting Cari Scholtens to narrate it into an audiobook is the perfect choice for a masterpiece !!!

First book was better-will still get book 3
First book was better. I am still very interested in the next book, but this was one very very long cluster of a plot.
Basically her first mission went devastatingly bad and than it just continued with no end in sight.
I looked the heroine and she goes through some rough patches. So many terrible things happen in this book that I felt we need a few more chapters to see where the series is going. I think she should’ve taken Joy’s offer and left the nighthawks.
Traitors are everywhere.
Overall like the heroine but would’ve like more focus in the plot...it just seems stuck on the same point.

There were only two of them left from the original eight - Helga, the new comer, and Silas, the !eader. Two newbies were conscripted into the Nighthawks on the eve of a new mission, one a very experienced veteran, the other brash, an unknown quantity despite having come through BLAST. The coincidences kept piling up, brutal action everywhere, it seemed. This second in the Lady Hellgate series is full on fighting, conspiracy and, for the protagonists, desperate times lacking any chance to sleep. It stands well as a read alone, however. The characters are intimately portrayed, real people trying to survive mentally and emotionally in fact in desperate times.
Narration is by Cari Scholtens and very good. Her voice is warm and pleasant, filled with understanding of both what she reads and the feelings of the title character, Helga Ate, previously rejected and now hailed as an heroine. Each individual protagonist is given their own, appropriate voice, the timing is excellent and the text well Intoned, involving the reader totally. A good performance.
My thanks to the rights holder of Full Metal Heroine, who at my request freely gifted me with a complimentary copy. For lovers of military space opera, this is a well written and unusual mustread, character dominant as well reaction packed. I am looking forward to book three and can warmly recommend it.

An other exciting book, this book focuses now on other aspects of the story, introducing more characters and really going in to explore each character in depth. The character growth in this book is amazing, and the backstories, the previous story and the past traumas started to come together and it's impressive to watch them grow. There were also introduction to more of the world, more alien and more visuals, and it was exciting to explore the world with the crew. I also appreciate the romance aspects in this book, they are subtle but not missed, and adds to the layers for me to explore and enjoy.

What a great book, the second volume of the series is full of action, wonderful characters who have real depth put into a stressful situation where they do not know if anyone can be trusted.
Helga still comes across as a little naïve until you remember how young she is. The secondary story of the Hub girl is also really strong. The new nighthawks are really impressive. Loved it and am already listening to book 3. The narration is excellent.

What a great story, full of action and characters that you can relate to! You will feel like you are one of the team, kicking butt and even worrying about names. I got so caught up in the story that I was up most of the night because I just couldn't put it down. If you like great space opera, then give this novel a chance. You won't regret it.

Great science fiction
Both nooks I've read and listened to were great first book was great lot of action and great characters Last of the Night hawks and this book was really well written I got to read and listen in the kindle app via kindle unlimited the narrator was great also

Top of the list of reading material
Very seldom do i find a book or I should say these two books, that truly surprises me, these did, absolutely wonderful reads.and I am anxiously awaiting book 3 will buy it for sure. Thanks for Prime entertainment..

Great story
Excellent second! Love seeing the growth of our heroine. As the saying goes... Growing up in a war zone sucks but sometimes its all you have. Looking into the next book in the series.

A wonderful story that truly deserves it's five star rating.
This second story of the series is outstanding. It makes the need for a third book very important. The characters and the development of the series makes the next book very important.

An extremely entertaining and enjoyable series!!!!!
Congratulations to Greg Dragon for this amazing series. It’s hard to find such an interesting and exciting author who not only writes intelligently but also provides top rated plots, characters and excitement in the stories. I’m really looking forward to the next book in the series.
