After catching my boyfriend screwing my best friend, I have only one place to home to my witchy aunts, their magic and our coven. I was supposed to cry my broken heart away. Instead I did a spell to draw three men to Orlando, Roman, and Jack. They were my best friends when we were kids. Then something more when we were all fourteen. And I still long for them. But things have changed since we were kids. There are cracks and missing pieces. And somewhere out there in the woods, a darkness lurks… a darkness coming for us all. I just hope we can reunite in time to face it, or we might not live to see tomorrow. Three for a Witch is a complete, standalone novel with no cliffhangers in sight.

*RECEIVED A FREE COPY FOR A HONEST REVIEW* I tried to like this book, I really did. There was so much promise of an interesting story. I mean a community of supernatural people with their own businesses, schools, social networks and so called mundane people, us, who have no Knowledge of these communities. So, a witch who returns home and decides her childhood Male besties/almost lovers are what she needs to make her whole. Throw in an "evil warlock" that really doesn't do much until 65-70% in. Truthfully, the last 30% of the book is the best. Bottom line, reverse harem/menege eroticism is what this book is about. Sex is the story or carries the story? The story sure doesn't carry the sex in this one.
Carrie comes home and finds her boyfriend having sex with her best friend Vivian, her boyfriend has a nerve to get down on one knee and propose to her while his mistress is standing at the door with the clothes that she had bought her boyfriend, so Carrie turns around and says no and that she never wanted to see any of them again. Carrie takes off feeling hurt and betrayed she goes to the only place that has ever been a home and that is her aunts house the Thornheart Manor there’s nothing like a house with two witches to make you feel better. Carrie goes for a walk through the woods and she thinks of the time that her parents were killed and her 3 best friends Jack, Orlando and Roman, the 4 of them nearly went all the way but they were caught and Carrie was never allowed to see her friends again. That’s all I’m going to give you guys but there is so much more to this story and I absolutely loved it. A fantastic story a 5 plus ⭐️ read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
Carrie went practically mundane when she left her home and her hometown.
Micah, a low powered warlock, and Vivian, a mundane born to skilled witches became her world.
Instead of an engagement, she walked in on the two of them literally balls deep in each other.
maybe it is finally time to get back to what was once important?
Some almost solstice mayhem ends up with dark magic run amok, someone severed, and Carrie back with the wild boys of her youth - and all grown up, they all have some steamy possibilities together.
accepting themselves individually and as a group, and connecting to the skills and strengths may be the only thing that can save them from darkness, and from their own lonely, worst selves.
a powerful m/m and r/h suspense / romance, that was awesome to read on KU!

I needed this read. Feeling restless, I was having a hard time connecting to any books I read. The writing was smooth and drew me into the story quickly. It's fast paced and quickly takes us from the present, to where it collides with the past. Coming back home, a witch connects with love and the magic she sought to deny. It's hot, it's sweet, and it has just enough conflict and danger to draw you in, with a bit of mystery. I really enjoyed the main characters and all their quirks that were fun to read and imagine. I really enjoyed this story, the place, and the people. I hope we get to see more of them in the future, if only a glimpse into their lives. Thank you for this, I needed it!
This is such a fun and exciting story. I like the whole idea of a self-contained society of magical folks, from schools to shops and the whole town. I was kinda "meh" about Carrie having such negativity about her magical side. Being human isn't something special, but being magical is. Why strive for mediocrity? I loved how the guys showed up, even if it was a bit (?) tense. It has the feeling of the movie Practical Magic (one of my favorites). The aunts are wonderful and I would love to have them in my family tree. The suspense of the dark magic was exciting. I enjoyed this book very much. I requested an advanced reader copy from Booksprout and am under no obligation to leave this review.
The world is fascinating and I'd love to see more stories in this world, the magic is interesting. I like the plot, the interactions are fun and overall it's a good read.
That said, the plot is very simplistic and I think more thought could have gone into it. Character development was very shallow, for instance I think we could have been shown more warning signs at the beginning from the boyfriend, as well as how well Carrie was treated by her best friend before and after the betrayal. I think it would have given the coming events more impact.
Overall I had a good time and I plan to keep an eye on the author and check out their other works.
This. Is. HORRIBLE. Fighting over nothing. Angry at the FMC for not talking to them after a horrible rumor(s) spread and yet the MmC all don’t act like they did anything bad. The mystery and action of the villain that is literally just like fog is so out of left field and pretty lame that it’s laughable. They were all in love with each other when they were 14 but now are in their early 20s and haven’t talked for years yet it’s in still love the second they see each other again. I was more frustrated and annoyed with this book that I have with any other work in a long time. Not worth it
Cheated by the ones she thought care for her, Carrie left all behind in search of her past and true love. But dark magic followed her and endangered what she had put together, again. Intense and exciting scenes with action, suspense, hot passion, witches, mundane, a shifter, mystery, strong emotions, dark magic and violence. Liked how it kept me intrigued with the different characters and the drama between them. Good how the author built the suspense and put my imagination to work. Liked it!
I absolutely loved this! The interplay between the characters is great and the romance pretty good too! The drama just took it to a whole new level, whics is why I gave it 5 stars!! The storyline flowed really well and I loved the character development
I am sooooo going to be in the lookout for this author in the future!! A huge big thumbs up for this one!! Excellent!

Three for a Witch by Lucy Auburn is a wonderful story to read. I loved reading this story so much cause I love reading about witches and the fact that this one is also about Reverse Harem Paranormal Romance is even better. I highly recommend this story to all who love Reverse Harem Paranormal Romance like I do.

This book was okay - it was a super quick read and it was a standalone story. But the copy editing was not great - one of the character's sisters' name was Maya, then it was Kenya shortly thereafter. The character Orlando was described as being taller than Jack (surprisingly because he was short when younger). Then in the middle of the book he was suddenly the shortest again. That's just sloppy. I did read the Kindle version - so this may just be a problem for that version.
Her boyfriend cheated on her so she goes back home. There she makes a spell which brings three men to her. She knows them and now they are different. Something is out there after them. What is it? Will they escape? See how they get on

While Auburn does tell us what came before I think I'd really have liked to jump through time with them so I could have really felt their connection. I mean I sort of get why its not rushed but it still feels rushed because I was told about the connection rather than experiencing it with them.
Wasn't sure what to think about this one. Standalones usually feel rushed or incomplete. This one manages to maintain a good pace while not skimping on story. Some heat, nor a lot of good story.
First Thanks for the book i read it in 4 hours it is wel written and of course a reverse harem story and jelosy in one story and witch craft it al about love and sex just like life if you like thi s buy the book
I really liked this book. Put me through the emotional ringer, which I liked. I felt for Carrie and her men. I liked that they were all fighting their own battles. An interesting story and world building.
This is my first book by this author and I loved it. I would have liked an epilogue to see what happens in the future but I'm just greedy. It was so good seeing Carrie grow stronger. I loved jack ,Orlando and Roman. I will definitely be reading more from this author.
I like the characters, and the story's pretty original. There's a lot of good about it, but there are so many errors. It gets tough to read sometimes, if you are annoyed by things like that.
there were a couple grammatical errors in this but ultimately i really enjoyed the storyline. i did find carrie a little annoying and wished there was more of a backstory between her and her boys as i could not really feel their emotional connection.
Easy to read standalone novel. A couple of steamy scenes, but think a few more were needed. The writing is good and the story entertaining. Note that there is M/M intercourse and not only M/F.
Once I started to read this book, I was not able to put it down! The author opens with a scene designed to shock and is one that happens frequently in the mundane world. The remainder of the book involves a shifter, witches, warlocks, and dark magic. She has managed to explicitly describe the dark magic used but did not leave out love and steamy scenes. A great read!
