Since I barely have the time to leisure read nowadays, one book that I definitely have had the time to find for is this book. (And I'm adding to my reading challenge because I have literally read this book from page to page.)

I'm currently in the process of writing my first literature review and research proposal and before starting my dissertation, I had no clue as to what I had to do, the terminology used, the methods and analysing. Now that I've read it from start to finish I do feel as if I have some sort of clue as to what I'm doing. (Aha I really don't have a clue-I do but I don't) -.-'

The only thing that I'm going to be picky about is the fact that there isn't a section about undertaking a research proposal. Ayevard explains well and I think it would have definitely bumped up the ratings to 5 stars had there been a section dedicated to undertaking a research proposal. But then again I suppose that's an entirely different ball game.

Either way, a very descriptive informative book which is very much recommended to anyone undertaking their first literature review.

I began to use this book as a reference for my own literature review writing because a fellow classmate recommended it, and for someone with no idea how to write a review this book was great. Though some people might find the approach/contents too simplistic, I would strongly suggest reading this book first to get a broad idea on how to write a literature review, and to then refer to other more complex books in accordance to your writing needs.
