I haven't finished reading this yet, and it's quite possible I won't.
I came here looking to hear opinions about it, but there aren't any!
As a software developer I am suspicious of the technical knowledge of the authors...a proliferation of the word algorithm is a bit of a giveaway that someone doesn't really understand the subject particularly well.
The comparison with previous revolutions is interesting but not convincing.
I would argue that this is just a continuation of the computer/information revolution that emerged post war and significantly boosted in the 70s with the invention of the microchip.
I'll update this review if I complete the book and I change my mind about it.

Great book! Well researched and interesting. Really makes you think. Also more than a little scary to think about where the world is going.
