Bennett Cameron is one of the best close protection agents in the world. Gorgeous, genius-level computer expert Elle Castle has no clue that Russian mobsters are after her and she won't play nice when her wealthy father hires Bennett to protect her. When she refuses to follow Bennett to safety, kidnapping her is his only option.
Elle Castle finds herself living every woman's worst nightmare -- waking up terrified, disoriented and tied to a chair at the mercy of a powerful, intimidating stranger. He says he kidnapped her and tied her up for her own good. Yeah, right.
The good news is that he doesn’t seem to be a serial killer. The bad news is he is lethally hot.
Holed up in a luxury suite in the heart of London, Elle and Bennett fight to resist the sexual heat burning between them. But the Russian mob is relentless and closing in fast—and soon they both must be ready to sacrifice everything for love.

Lisa Marie Rice is eternally 30 years old and will never age. She is tall and willowy and beautiful. Men drop at her feet like ripe pears. She has won every major book prize in the world. She is a black belt with advanced degrees in archaeology, nuclear physics, and Tibetan literature. She is a concert pianist. Did I mention her Nobel Prize? Of course, Lisa Marie Rice is a virtual woman and exists only at the keyboard when writing erotic romance. She disappears when the monitor winks off.
Molto femminista, the power of woman!

The third book in Her Billionaire series by Lisa Marie Rice. Bennett Cameron is hired to protect Elle Castle but the only way to do that is to kidnap her and take her to a safe place. Apparently her father invested for the Russian mob and lost the money when the investment goes bad.
I like Ms. Rice's style of writing and that goes with this series also. It works for me and I am waiting impatiently for the next book. (Which I hope she is writing).
This was definitely the best book in this series. I loved the characters and story. However, there were just too many instances of the H mentioning the h's beauty and even how lucky she was that she didn't have her father's looks. That was very superficial. In addition, I wish Ms. Rice would write her female characters as more relatable. They are always superhuman in their intelligence, which is great sometimes, just not in every book. The first 3 Midnight books had wonderful h bc they were normal people. Lastly, the sex scenes are few and lack any heat. I think Ms. Rice's sex scenes are stale and need a kick. With all due respect, I would recommend she read Tessa Bailey or Lynda Chance. Along with really sexy scenes, their Hs are OTT possessive and jealous, which you don't see in Ms. Rice's books anymore.
Lisa Marie Rice is one of my top 5 romance authors of all time! Her books have vibrant characters, believable storylines and great sexy characters. I loved this story about a Security Bodyguard and a nerdy genius scientist. He is hired by her father, who she barely knows, to protect her after the father loses an enormous amount of money he invested for the Russian mafia. They have dynamite chemistry and when the mafia comes for her in a way they didn’t expect it’s up to him to save her. Highly recommend this book and this series!
I had slight trepidation before reading this--with that length, how could a full-bodied story (a romantic suspense, no less) be developed? But it seemed LMR was able to pull it off.
Elle is smart yet grounded thus very likeable, irrespective of her good looks (which was literally drilled to us readers every 10 pages, and that was redundant). Like LMR's other heroes, Bennet is tough as nails but only reserves his tenderness for Elle.
As usual, it ends rather abruptly, a marriage proposal notwithstanding. I actually don't mind seeing Elle in action with solving another case for Bennet's company while being pregnant in an epilogue.
This was an easy 5 stars for me. Exceptionally interesting and fast paced plot. I lovvvvvved the under stated humor and both the h and H were phenomenal. Couldn't put it down.
Bennet has been hired by Elle's father to protect her. Elle's father has been accosted by the mafia and there's a big mess and Elle's life is in danger.
Bennet was such a sweetheart alpha, extremely hot close protection agent who also ran a billion dollar high profile security firm. Elle was a math wiz and held conferences around the world and even taught at the Oxford University.
There is however a hole left in my heart without the epilogue. The HEA is sweet but it needed more window in the book. Not just a paragraph or two. Amazing read!
Escapade is my favorite in the Her Billionaire series. These are all standalones and I love Bennett and Elle’s story! I’ve always loved LMR’s romantic suspense stories and she definitely does not disappoint. This is a quick to love story that kept me on the edge of learning what was coming next. She is incredibly wicked on a computer. However, once they are separated, the real question is she truly safe or will the Russian mob ever stop looking…. But what about the chemistry between them… this is an amazing story!

London is the last destination in this short novels trilogy by Lisa Marie Rice dedicated to European big cities. So it’s the first time this author, American established in Italy, decides to put this continent to the honor in a romantic suspense and I thank her. All in all I really liked the trilogy with a preference for Venice (review https://www.goodreads.com/review/show... ) the second volume. Paris, the first volume, was really a big surprise LOL (review https://www.goodreads.com/review/show... ). We have a little glimpse of the city especially in the second part and the way LMR describes the setting in a context of romantic suspense is well done. And like for the two other volumes there still no link between the different books.
The novel features Bennet Cameron and Elle Castle. Bennett is a former SEAL who is hired as Elle’s bodyguard by her father. There’s not a lot of action either in this romantic suspense because the hero takes the heroine somewhere safe directly at the beginning of the book and as with LMR heroines aren’t real pains in the ass, well they follow the advices. It feels good, believe me LOL. The action in itself arrives in the second part of the book when the father contacts his daughter. But I’ll shut up and let you discover the rest. To come back to the first part, it’s the one allowing the meeting between the heroes, the discovery of their attraction and the fast (as usual) evolution of their feelings. There’s not a lot of love scenes but we feel the attraction between our heroes and once the book is closed we don’t have any doubt about their feelings. It’s a couple meant to last.
As always, Lisa has a dynamic and flowing style and we read the novel very quickly, not only because it’s short but because we want to know what will happen and especially how they’ll come through. There are parts a bit long however, especially those where the heroine explains what she’s doing to the hero. Yes she uses words we readers can understand but I didn’t find this interesting. By the by that’s why I didn’t give the max rating.
Nonetheless this story can be read easily and we have an excellent reading time. It was a Christmas gift by LMR in this end of 2018 and it’s always a pleasure to read her.
I did receive an ARC for an honest review, and to that point this is my favorite in the billionaire series (I could care less about billionaires. Why does it always have to be a billionaire? I mean, really... like dukes, how many attractive, well-mannered, non-psycho billionaires are there on this planet? I am so done with that trope, but romance tropes are what romance tropes are...). In Escapade, Rice returns to her very smart woman and very security-uptight with great military background guy.
What I loved soooo much is that she brings machine learning (ML) & natural language processing (NLP) into this story. I love this about Rice's work. That, and how she keeps up with her tech in the military industry. This story is sexy (of course) and smart with underline moments because Rice's prose is clean and smart. Plus, she really gets her tech, so yeah, I'd say this qualified as educational material. If you're interested in what machine learning is, she does a great job outlining it. LOVED IT!!
It's a cold, rainy Sunday afternoon and this catnip is fireside and wine time. Have fun!

Bennett Cameron is asked to protect the daughter of a man who has lost 10 million dollars of the Russian mob’s money. She gets kidnapped and Bennett has to save her.
This author is an auto-buy for me. I’ve read all her books and have loved them all. She has a great style of story telling that usually has a strong, alpha hero and a heroine who while she is strong and usually sassy, she isn’t an overbearing personally trying to prove she’s as strong as the guy. I love that in the romance stories that I read, where there is a balance between the H&H. Escapade has a great plot, edge of your seat action, is sexy and the author pulls it all together quite nicely. I thoroughly enjoyed this story.
As always with Ms. Rice, when I reach "The End" I desperately want more. More story, more time with her brilliantly written characters in their fascinating world. Sigh, alas I must wait eagerly for her next book. This was a great trilogy and now I just will have to re-read until she spins a new tale.
Elle’s life is at risk and Bennett is just the man to protect her. He will do everything he can to make sure she is t hurt or kidnapped and just maybe in the process the two of them may find out their is a lot more at risk then they planned.
This was a nice read and one that I enjoyed more than the Venice book of this series. I probably would have ranked this higher but the heroine reminded me too much of the one in Midnight Promises.
I like Lisa Marie Rice’s novels — she is one of the few erotic romance writers that I read. I thought this book fell someone short of her usual writing, but was still an interesting read.
I love LMR. Another great hero (yessss) and heroine with a great storyline. My only gripe is that the ending seemed rushed. I want that killer epilogue!
Her books are getting super repetitive. It's basically the same story recycled over and over with minor changes. Also, please stop with the insta love and let's get married after like maybe a week.
I really liked the characters and their interactions. It ended too abruptly for my tastes. I like to enjoy the happy ever after for a bit. Also, for some bizarre reason, although they had sex several times, there was absolutely zero mention of any form of birth control or safe sex. In this day and age, having them not mention it at all was jarring and took me out of the story.
Lisa never fails to pull me in! I've never wanted her books to end. I hope she never stops! Thank God for my tablet. I never run out of books. I filled up my spare bedroom with huge nos. of books and was forced to make a change! Thank you to all authors out there,I envy your unending stories!!!
