Let me tell you, these were some of my favorite novels of all time to write. The Nakamura brothers aren’t like any of my other heroes, and so they have a special place in my heart. I hope you enjoy their stories too.

What Perfect Gift???
This is a review of Her Perfect Gift, one of a couple of books in The Ruthless Nakamuras book set.
Lacey Winters, an African woman with dreads, and Suro Nakamura, an extremely quiet Japanese-Chinese man are the love interests in this interracial romance. They both have secrets and children who are autistic.
Some of the things that happened in this book are too unrealistic to be believable. Lacey has been in the run for 12 years from a Dominican mafia boss who is intent on killing her and her daughter. How did he know about them?? She kept herself and daughter safe for years get talked way too much with strangers and went off with Suro for a one night stand. Another unbelievable scene was their children went to the same school and were both musical prodigies and decided their parents needed to get together. They all met after the one night stand the next day at the children's school. The kids were adorable.
There were more of unbelievable things that happened with them - one being that he found them in 3 months when the Dominican mafia boss couldn't find them in 12 years. The next time she ran, he found her in a couple of weeks. The grammar, missing words, sentences with misplaced words were all terrible as were other editing problems.
The sex was over the top and the ending was rushed with too many things not making sense. An editor was desperately needed. Very little character development and little back story made the book even more difficult to believe. The book could have been a really good interracial/multicultural romance with more attention paid to fleshing out the thin plot with more back stories on the characters. Yes, there is a HEA.

Binge Reading at its Best
The 5 stars are given because the story line was perfect.
The character of Norie was anything but a classic prince charming. That made him very personable.
I have been binge reading the 50 state series for over a week. I hate to put it down, but, I just got j r ward new book, but I'll be back when I finish it.

All I can say is wow!! Both of these stories were amazing and super steamy!! This is definitely a one click buy!! These super silent and stoic heros are amazing. If you are looking for new book boyfriends you need to read this boxset!!

I loved both of these stories so much! The characters were all well developed. Definitely one for the keeper shelf! Now on to Hayoto's story!

I have already read the "12 Months of Kristal" so I know Hyato's story and read some about Suro and No. I loved Suro and Tasha's story. It was intense and fun. The "twins" were funny and a great addition to the storyline. I did also enjoy a trip down memory lane with Alexi Rustanov; that guy is everywhere. Norio and Lilliana's storyline was a little more complicated than Suro and Tasha's. However, it was still entertaining and thrilling. There were some grammatical errors and format issues that I found in this complete collection. I do not know if they were present in the solo novels. The issues did not detract from the stories but were obvious. Otherwise, the stories were engaging, emotional, funny, and sexy.

Kenji and Sparkle are a funny duo. There’s plenty spicy moments however, those scenes fell flat for me. There were some emotional moments. But everything else was pretty predictable. I wish there was more action and suspense considering Suro is a hitman/enforcer. I also didn’t like how we were told what Suro did and received his injuries rather than show us. Suro is also rather cold and not so “Enduring” so if you’re looking for action, angst or even an over protective man, you won’t get that with this title.

Genius Writer
Theodora Taylor does it again!!! I loved EVERYTHING about these two stories and how she brought them both together in the second story. Okay I'm a sucker for a hot story. I have read and re read both of these stories countless times. In these 2 books you watch brothers grow from solitary individuals into supportive family men. And you watch the women they fall in love with fall in love with themselves and their partners and heal. These books have to be in my top 10 of her books right under the dragon books.

Satisfyingly Great Read
I really enjoyed reading these books about the Nakamura brothers finding their true loves.The author meshed their stories together really well and the love scene descriptions were unforgettable!

I wasn't going to read this book. But then I thought who the author was. I read it and like always I love it. What can I say it's a Theodora Taylor book. It sexy, surprising, and a hot story. Need I say more!

Can’t decide if I like the these brothers or my Russians more. The Russians are more tough around the edges which I do adore but the Japanese are more quietly lethal. Can I have them all?
