MMmmm, I really enjoyed this story. Alex and her two sons are running away and are now living in a small town. They meet Cade, who is in town to renovate his house and then to sell it and after that to go back to New York and continue with his life. After a terrible accident he was shot and lost his partner. He is feeling guilty because of that and came in town for a break. But the moment he meets Alex he is feeling attracted to her and can't stay away. She is hiding something and he wants to understand what. After a while he fells in love with her and her two boys. I won't write anything else, read the book and find out what happens next.
It was a quick and very enjoyable read.
