The money from the fishermen pension fund has disappeared and the only person with access to them is blamed. Priscilla knows she didn’t do it, so set out to figure out what really happened. Priscilla is also busy helping her daughter plan her wedding.

This was a little harder to get into at the beginning. There was a lot of wedding planning in the first part of the book that seemed disjointed from the mystery. I enjoyed the parts where they went dress shopping, but I was wanting to get into finding who stole the funds from the fisherman pension. I liked meeting some new people on the island and learning a little about the fishing history on the island.

Not up to the usual quality of the stories. Since I won't write any spoilers, I'll just say there were a couple of clues that didn't make any sense.
Still, Priscilla and Gerald are growing closer and of course, the cousins continue to keep Candy Lane's Bakery in the black during the off season.
As always, a good, fast and fun read.

This one takes place in January. It involves theft, fishing, a death, a health scare, romance, family, antique cars, and art. I liked the art part of the story. I wanted more from that and the romances. It was about time that happened. I liked the fishing, too, but it wasn't what I was expecting.

The pension funds for the local fishermen disappears, and everyone thinks it's a flashy woman who seems a bit of spendthrift. Luckily, she is friends with Priscilla, who investigates. Uncle Hugh suffers a medical emergency. He hasn't been healthy for this whole series, so it isn't a surprise.

Great read! Priscilla and her cousins are investigating the disappearance of funds in a pension fund that was already in financial trouble. Things are just not always as they seem. This story is a good example of how our choices can affect not only our own life but can and often does affect the lives of others either directly or indirectly. I am thoroughly enjoying the books in the series. Great stories that are entertaining, relaxing, and with life messages represented in the mix.

Priscilla Latham Grant is back on the case on Martha's Vineyard. This time, a fishermen's retirement fund is nearly wiped out and the money has vanished. The presumed guilty swear that they have no idea what happened to the money, and it's up to Priscilla and her cousin Joan to ferret out what really happened. Also, a combo family and pet illnesses bring both happiness and sadness to the group.

I found this book a little bit more difficult to get through. The ins and outs of retirement funds didn't make for particularly enjoyable reading. But I did enjoy getting to catch up with Priscilla and the gang again.

Another pleasant Mystery of Martha's Vineyard. When funds go missing from the Fishermens Pension Plan, Sonya Fleming is blamed. Her husband knows she is innocent and enlists Priscilla's help to prove it.

Uncle Hugh suffers a heart attack and the cousins have to offer Gail their support while trying to uncover who stole the money.

Gerald tags Priscilla with a nickname-Scilla. I like how their relationship is progressing.

Rachel, Priscilla's daughter has gotten engaged, so it is wedding planning time. Yea!
