I Am Winning: A Guide to Personal Empowerment

Rate this book
I Am Winning - A Guide to Personal Empowerment by Natalie Glebova, is a book which delivers a roadmap towards stimulating a champion mindset for personal happiness and successful living. The author uncovers the values that true winners exemplify, which will implore the reader to reassess his or her own way of living. Natalie believes that winning is not about the amount of material possessions you can amass, the degrees or titles you can earn, or the social status you can rise to. Instead, she says her book is “a series of practices which examine the importance of experiences, good or bad; relationships with ourselves and others; and the extent to which one has curiosity for the unknown that ultimately leads to success.” The value you can bring to others, the attitude you maintain when things don’t go as planned, becoming a life-long learner, constant improvement, gratitude and seeking fundamental contentment from within, without comparing yourself to others are the key principles revealed by the author.

This is my first book of 15 book challenge for myself this year. Hopefully I can make it to read 15 books and more!

As a person who follows her lifestory, this book is like the diary of Natalie as she transformed herself from a girl who willing to pursue her dreams and she successfully became a Miss Canada 2005, then Miss Universe 2005 and now she become an Empowerist.
This book also shares a series of powerful practices and very inspirational stories of winners from walks of life that will inspire others to becoming the best version of themselves.

Great book to follow-up on few or several other related books based on having PMA, things to do to be successful, how to keep going, how to overcome obstacles, having the right winning attitude when on a plateau and stay the course, whilst being knocked about to become a success in life in whatever one wants to do and become so on. Although, reading other like (similar) books are not necessary to read 1st before this book, but for me it was a great recap of the fundamentals needed to do and have to win in life.
