“This is your audience, Prynne. Eight-million people out there, waiting to see what you have to offer.”
She chose the hotel for the view of New York. I chose the hotel for New York’s view of me.
It’s her own fault for knocking on my hotel room door.
Didn’t she learn never to talk to strangers?
You never know what state of dress—or in my case, undress—you’ll find them in.
As it turns out, she’s trying to finish a romance novel.
There’s just one, tiny little problem…
One I’m more than happy to rid her of.
My one and only rule:
The curtains stay open.
I know underneath that facade of innocence is a woman longing to be seen.
Soon all interest in that romance novel is lost in the world of public exploration.
The risk of getting caught is exciting…
…until both our secrets are EXPOSED.
This is an ultra-sexy Stand-Alone in the Miseducation Romance Series with a HEA. You do not have to read the others in the series to enjoy this one.
WARNING: This book includes a lot of full frontal, birthday suit, bare it all, steamy scenes…mostly in front of windows, as well as filthy, dirty language so 18+ only!
I am a lover of sinfully sexy romance. Alpha males who combine intelligence, wit, and charm, with that tiny bit of dominance and aggression to spice things up. I also like heroines who have their own sinfully sexy side.
When I’m not typing away at my keyboard, in between sips of wine, you can find me out exploring New York City, where I live…or some other far away place, finding fodder for my novels.
My other Favorites include:
Belinis, Kate Spade, Anything French, The Color Pink,Black Lingerie, Men’s Shoulders, Swimming Naked, Guy Ritchie Movies, Disco Music, Red Wine, Thunderstorms, White Russians, The Smell of Aftershave, World Cup Soccer Too Much Eyeliner, Stockings & Garter Belts Hors d'Oeuvres in Martini Glasses, and Happily Ever Afters!
Will she or won’t she? Checking into the Sexton Hotel was supposed to get the creative juices flowing, that’s what Prynne thought. That is until her neighbor shattered her silence. Confrontation is not what she wanted but neither was being confronted with Rhys her sexy neighbor in all his full frontal glory either.
Prynne was a different character for me she had a lot of hurdles to overcome and trying to lose herself in New York seemed like the perfect chance. She’s fresh, genuine and inquisitive. I liked that about her. Even though scared she was open to new things.
Rhys is also hiding, from his past. He’s a confident male who has no problem letting it all hang out and I mean that literally.
What better person to take young fresh Prynne under their wing and guide her to the wickedness that’s buried deep within.
If you’ve got no issues being the watcher or watchee than your going to love this.
Forgiveness comes in many forms and sometimes stepping into the light is the way to go.
Let's start off by say this is is a new author for us and we really enjoyed our first book from them and we are so looking forward to books to come in this ongoing series.
Prynne and Rhy's we wonderful character's they were pure delight to read about.I have been in such a book funk of late after reading a couple of series that I had to finish up and review but, did not enjoy at all and in doing so took forever to finish so I haven't been reading as I normally do. Well? were are back ! This book was the perfect book to bring me out of my reading slump!
We loved the plot and we loved the character's as it just proved that opposites do attract! lol The story had me constantly smiling the entire story as the story was one of those fell good books filled with humor and was so much fun and something different and daring and filled with a little bit of kink to spice ones life up.Just thinking about some of those kink sessions has me laughing in my head as I am writing this review.
Rhy's OMG! he was my favorite in this current story and he made me laugh the entire time.I could just imagine what that sexy voice sounded like and what it did to a women's body. One seductive look and that sexy voice felt like a sweet caress to a women's body every time he opened his mouth.
Prynne- "His velvety voice turns them into veritable diamonds."
I found Rhy's to be funny, sexy, kind, passionate, sexy as all get out but, most of all I loved how he felt comfortable in his own skin.
"I love being a medium for others to air their own bits of exhibitionism, spilling their secrets, desires, and sexual adventures for the world to voyeuristic-ally devour."
I loved his constant teasing when he was around Prynne. I loved listening to him as he did his job he was so much fun to listen to him as well his listeners as I laughed out loud time and time again but, my jaw dropped when his father talked to him about some of those stories because, when you get to know his dad you will see why...lol
Prynne she was a pleasant delight. Her shyness and nativity was cute and funny and below the surface there was a bad girl wanting to come out. When she finally let's loose let's just say we were so surprised how she dirtied up rather quickly. From saint to sinner.... lol
Overall we loved the story from cover to cover! I was hooked the minute Rhy's opened his is hotel room's door!
Love LOVE loved this! Truly, truly enjoyed that there was a real storyline. A background to each character that was rich and full of information. SO well done, I will absolutely be reading more. I don't feel like anything was left out and the characters were both intriguing and sexy. Not to mention this is for sure the best kink. 😉
I discovered this book (and author) while participating in a reading challenge in one of my groups. I was excited to read this one....the reviews were all really positive for the most part! Maybe I am used to more scandalous reads, but sadly this one just didn't do it for me. While I did become invested in the backstory/drama of both main characters, I felt their relationship was far too drawn out and boring to truly invest in it. There were many times I snoozed off while reading..... it took me far longer than it normally takes to finish this book. I considered making it a DNF on more than one occasion but needing to complete it for my reading challenge kept me in it til the end.
I gave it 3 stars (instead of 1 or 2) because this author's writing abilities are unlike the average author....the vocabulary she uses isn't the same ole same ole, I found myself using the dictionary feature in my Kindle app far more than I ever have in the past. I couldn't find one proofing/editing error and everything flowed so well. She truly is gifted in that dept and for that she deserves.... ....its just a shame I couldn't connect with her story in this book, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to check out her earlier work.
Told in dual POV, this is a VERY drawn out slow burn romance....it takes almost the entire book for the sizzle to happen. But don't worry, there is underlying drama with both characters that carries the story as well. However, if you need hot and heavy in your reads, this one isn't for you....you won't find that here.
Synopsis: Prynne is a romance writer, currently with a bit of a writer's block. Deciding a room at the infamous Sexton Hotel is exactly what she needs to get some writing done, she gets more than she bargained for one night when paying her neighbor a visit to ask him to turn his music down....she is greeted by an Adonis-like man with it all hanging out....LITERALLY. Not knowing what to make of her exhibitionist of a neighbor, she thinks it's the last she will see of him except in her fantasies. To her surprise, he joins her for breakfast the next morning with an offer....he will help her with her book.
Rhys is enchanted with the innocent looking neighbor that showed up at his room door. Looking for any way to hang out with her, he offers her his help with her book. But when he reads what she has written so far, one thing is abundantly clear....she has trouble writing smut because she is a virgin. But even he sees the dirty girl that lies beneath that innocent girl act.....but she is also hiding something and hes hiding his own secrets as well.
But when secrets identities are revealed, new kinks are discovered, and their pasts threaten to destroy their relationship before it truly gets started, will these two be able to ignore the outsiders and explore together?
This does end with a HEA, but not before the past rears its ugly head for the both of them or the media outs true identities. There is just enough drama to make up for the lack of steamy scenes.
Final Thoughts: I loved Rhys but wasn't a huge fan of Prynne. The supporting characters (hello Jermaine) were a welcomed addition and honestly necessary to add a comedic tone to this story. The underlying issues both of these characters deal with are unique and well thought out. And I get why it took so long to get to THE ACT, but geez it got a little snooze-fest in the middle there.
All in all, I wouldn't read this again...hell it took me 3 days to get through it this time. But for those who don't like smut, this is a sweet romance that takes almost the entire book building up to the climax (literally).
Lula Baxter is a new author to me but boy did she hit it out of the park on my first go around. Bestill my beating heart, how I loved this book. I think I am still in shock and awe about their backgrounds. These two people could not be any more different than they are alike. The blurb from this book caught my attention. I was intrigued. Then I got it started reading it and I was sucked in. I was deep into this book that lunch was over and I was so disappointed I had to stop for a bit. I literally couldn't put it down. I was so engrossed that it was over before I knew it.
Prynne is staying at The Sexton Hotel so she can write her novel. She is trying, then out of nowhere she hears music that she can't fathom is playing from next door. Both Prynne and Rhys choose the Sexton for the same reason. The big wall of windows with a view. Rhys is enjoying his say at the Sexton with a beautiful view of the city. When he gets an unwanted knock on his hotel room door from his neighbor Prynne.
Rhys and Prynne are alike and so much different. The is the typical girl next door. She is sweet and an honest to god good girl with a very strict upbring and she just wants to make her own life. Though deep within her there is a bad girl trying to break free. So she cuts ties and leaves. Cutting off her entire family.
Rhys! Oh, melt my panties off me hot. That man. He is a sox jock with his own podcast. He is sex personified as well as this alpha possessive man. When the author talks about his voice I feel like I can feel it myself through the pages. He really does have that bad boy streak as I said. It propels him to be the man he is today. When they meet at that door sparks fly and ping of every available surface. These two both have a past they are trying to escape and get past for different reasons. I can't say much more because it will give away the reasons for everything.
I loved these characters they were absolutely made for each other, and the people were great. I loved Prynne’s roommate Shiloh and her co-workers were a hoot. Rhys had a good friend in Donna. I truly loved this book. It was an incredible read. There is so much potential for other books. I would love to get a glimpse into the future after reading the very last chapter. It was great.
Very good discovery I had not read Lula Baxter's stories yet, but I will do it again. I really liked her style and her characters who, with two opposing behaviors in society and their past, are both ostracized by their families. In addition the author has incorporated some criticism on the authors of romances that bring a note of humor sometimes, especially her chapters 48 and 49. Finally, her idea to integrate excerpts of radio testimony is very good and quite funny too. In short, I had a good time reading it. Brynnes is an author of romances, but she struggles with the scenes of passion because she has no experience at all because of her past in a very religious congregation, which for the last 10 years has participated in a reality TV show. She changed her name and left this world there to become anonymous. However her rather calm life is turned upside down when she meets her neighbor at the hotel, Rhys. She chose the hotel for the view she sees from her window, and he chose it for the view that the windows of the hotel offer to the passers-by ... After a bad first meeting, he tells her he's an author and offers her to read her story but he quickly understands the weak points of the text of Brynne, and he is quickly attracted to her. However, he is not at all an author but host of a web radio offering a free antenna to listeners on sex. He also hides anonymously after charges he was not guilty of at university but that ruined his career and tainted his wealthy family. These two excluded from family circles are left with an attraction and a penchant for exhibitionism that Brynne would never have imagined because of her past. Not to mention what they have to deal with: bad reputations, fear of the media, religion, family problems. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
What do you get when you mix a former "good girl" burgeoning romance writer and an internet sex jock who both have a thing for exhibitionism? Chemistry galore! I had never read anything from Lula Baxter, and I was intrigued with the synopsis of this story, so I offered to read an ARC for an honest review.
Rhys and Prynne (Faith) meet at the Sexton, a hotel in NYC known for guests with exhibitionist tendencies. Prynne's room sits next to Rhys's room one weekend. She has checked herself into the hotel with the hopes of writing her current romance novel. Unfortunately, her next door neighbor is loud. She decides to go next door to ask said neighbor to keep the noise down. On opening the door, she is met with a very naked Rhys. From there, the chemistry flies. As the story progresses, there are many secrets that each needs to divulge before they can have the relationship they never saw coming.
I LOVED this book. There is just something about an "opposites attract type" of story. Add in the backgrounds of the two characters, and the story becomes deeper. I loved that as Rhys and Prynne go out on dates he is adamant that he needs share his "secrets" with Prynne. I've read many a romance novel when these secrets stay hidden for so long that when they finally come out it is devastating. That being said, there is strife between these characters that it keeps the story engaging, but it isn't so much strife that your stomach hurts and your heart bleeds. It is enough that it pulls you through the story. I'd like to tell you more about the characters and the reasons why I love them so much, but to do so would reveal storylines that I think you should find for yourself. So...I suggest reading this book. Add it to your Kindle Library. You won't be disappointed.
Prynne (Faith) is working on writing her current romance book. So she goes to the Sexton Hotel for a stay to get those writer juices flowing. Little does she know that the hotel is known for guests with exhibitionist tendencies. Prynne's staying there and in the next room is Rhys's the sexy unknown internet sex jock. Rhys is her next door neighbor and he is being loud. She go next door to talk to whoever it is and ask to keep the noise down. She gets the surprise of her life when she is see a guy standing there naked.
The story is full of twists and turns. There so many secrets but Rhys and Prynne have the chemistry that has them both interested in each other. There is so much I can't say or I will be giving out spoilers and I don't want to do that. Rhys meets Prynne he is interested in her and intrigued by her that wants him to get to know her and see her which is so out of character for him. There are so many secrets that must come out for them to have a chance at anything. How will they handle it when their secrets come out? Can these two opposites have a chance at forever?
I really enjoyed this book. I love the build that there is when Rhys realizing that he needs to go slow and takes her on dates that are also his opportunity to reveal his secrets. But what happens when a secret gets revealed before he can tell her and causes all kinds of drama. But Rhys wasn't trying to hide from his secrets he just was planning out when and how to tell her to not scare her away because that that isn't want he wants. I love that the characters have a wealth of background and are fully developed and it a easy to read book. I was a great but tad different love story because the characters where so unique. I really think you should give this one a read.
Exposed was my first Lula Baxter book and . . . OMG!!!!! So, I was hooked by the blurb. I mean, it sounded totally hot and sexy as can be. And, Exposed was truly sizzling hot! But, I became even more excited the more I read because the book and characters had such unexpected depth for me that I truly couldn’t put it down!
Prynne and Rhys couldn’t come from more opposite backgrounds . . . yet they share something that draws them together like moths to a flame. Prynne is a the typical girl next door, but with a hidden exhibitionist desire to be seen for more than what people see on the surface. Rhys is the ultimate bad boy who has no problem exposing himself but longs for someone to see past that to the real him. They both carry huge secrets, that if exposed, carry consequences that will ripple out further than themselves. Yet, they can’t help but to explore with one another and share their deepest and darkest desires.
Honestly, the story was fabulous and unexpected. With every layer of Prynne and Rhys that the author exposed, I was drawn into the book further and further. I loved them as individuals and how they both created lives for themselves when they felt the need to run from their pasts and I loved them even more as a couple that could provide one another with exactly what the both needed and desired.
Exposed was truly an exceptional read that ticked off all of my boxes of a great story, amazing characters, humor, sweet moments of romance and steaming hot scenes of sexual exploration that will knock your socks off! 5 stars.
Prim and proper Prynne needed an escape. She has a book she'd like to finish writing and takes off to a hotel to try and get it done. While at this hotel she meets the ever sexual Rhys and finds out the hotel she's chosen is famous for the big windows and no curtains, and no privacy at all. She embarks on a very different adventure with Rhys and ends up find herself in the process.
Prynne is one of those characters that everyone will love but a few. Unfortunately, I'm one of the few. I liked her well enough but her constant prim and proper attitude mixed with her embarrassment at anything sex related just kinda lost me. Now don't get me wrong, her sexuality gets a huge awakening. Being from the Bible Belt I understand a bit of where she is coming from, but at the same time she just got a bit annoying about some things. Now Rhys is literally the epitome of sex. From his voice to his body, he oozes it. I love his "dgaf" attitude about life. He shocks me a bit with his background, but he was easy to fall in love with. He makes Prynne much more bearable.
I am excited to read the next book and hopefully get a look at them once more and to get a more in-depth look at Prynne's amazing best friend! Exposed is a fun read that I think a lot will enjoy. I just didn't connect to well with one main character.
I think I am in love with this new to me author. I have found myself bored while reading lately. It feels like everything is formula written and no real creativity is being published but I keep plodding away hoping to find something that will spark my mind, grab my attention and entertain and engage me fully. That is just what Lula Baxter has done for me with Exposed. I'll be honest, when I read the synopsis for this book I thought hmmm, sounds like a story I have read before but that is where that feeling ended. Once I started reading the story I couldn't put ti down. I loved Prynne and Rhys, they are such well written characters. This book just made me feel good. It was fun, witty, a little dangerous and just great mind candy. When I was done reading it I didn't have to stop and try to figure out how I felt about the book, I had a smile on my face and a warm and fuzzy feeling in my heart. So 5+ stars, two thumbs up and all that jazz. Thank you for writing an experience and not just a time waster. I can't wait to read more from Lula!

A match made in heaven or the Sexton Hotel! Exposed: A Miseducation Romance, book one, by author, Lula Baxter was fantastic. I love the author’s writing style and the storyline’s flow. The two main characters, Prynne and Rhys are a match made in heaven or the hotel where it’s known for where exhibitionists go to pull the drapes back and perform for NYC. Prynne is there because of writer’s block. Rhys is there because he likes to show himself while playing heavy metal music...loud. Unfortunately that music interferes with a certain author. She knocks on a door to complain. He answers...in the buff. And we are off. They both have outlandish secrets. Can they get through all of them before one of them runs off screaming? Definitely loved this story and am recommending it for your reading pleasure and enjoyment. I’m also looking forward to additional books in the series based on other characters in this, book one. I am unassumingly leaving a review of this book for your consideration.
I thought Exposed was a good story it would be the first book that I've read by Lula Baxter and I know they'll be more of her stories in my kindle as soon as possible . The way the characters met had me die laughing and wanting to know what was going to happen . From then on these two created easy banter and intense chemistry that had me flying through my kindle till the very end . Prynne and Rhys were opposites but they shared an attraction that couldn't be denied . I hope to see more of them in the future and to read more by the author . copy provided for honest review **************************************** hero=9 heroine=9 secondary characters=9 Chemistry=8 steam=6 romance=6 humor=4 darkness level=0 action=0 mystery=3 enjoyment=8 angst=4 story line=9 Story ending=9 character development=10 pacing=10 cover=7 Blurb =10 Stars =4 would I recommend this book=yes would I re read this book= yes would I read future books by this author=yes
Prynne is the ultimate prim and proper woman who needs a wake up call, or an escape if you will. She takes off to a hotel to finish writing a book, when she meets a man who oozes sex from every pore, and it turns her uptight world upside down. I had a hard time trying to figure out how to write this review because I was conflicted. See, I really found the hero, Rhys, to be HOT HOT HOT, and enjoyed him immensely. However, here's where I think I'm in the minority, I wasn't crazy about Prynne. It doesn't happen a ton, where I prefer the hero over the heroine, but it does happen from time to time. That's not to say that the sexy times didn't set things on fire, but she just was too uptight for me. Rhys definitely loosened her up, but there were still times that I wanted to shake her until her teeth rattled. Lula Baxter is a new to me author, who has a talented writing style that kept me reading, so I'm very intrigued to read more by her in the future as Exposed was a read that kept my attention. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Exposed (A Miseducation Romance) is the first in a series by Lula Baxter,an author I haven’t read before. This was a fairly quirky storyline, with a sexually repressed woman embarking on a new life as a writer, far away from her highly religious community. Faith (or Prynne as she decided to be called) starts her new life in NYC, where she meets Rhys. These two could not be more different. Prynne is shy and innocent and Rhys is sex on a stick. He’s a man of the world, and the world knows it. He offers to help Prynne with the parts of her romantic book where she has no clue how to proceed. It’s one crazy, zany sex-filled exhobistionist ride after that. Add in their need for anonymity for the sake of their families and it’s only a matter of time before they fall for each other and their secrets come out of hiding. Can they keep their reputations and the love affair intact or will it all come to nothing? Find out when you read, Exposed. Grab your copy today.
Who's that knocking on my hotel door?! Should I let her in to my life?😉 January 22, 2019 Format: Paperback 👍👍4.5 🌟stars 🔥🏢💘 Yes, this book has a ton of 🔥sizzle as, per the title, the main protagonists give in to their compulsion to expose themselves to an audience albeit normally from a distance. But it's deeper than that with a really compelling plot and great backstory for heroine wannabe romance💻 novelist Prynne and 🎤Podcast 🎧hottie Rhys. Their meet-cute is pretty unusual and both of them slowly peel back layers of their history to reveal identity secrets and family issues. The steam, for me, was integral to the plot but less appealing than the romance. Prynne's co-workers, particularly Jermaine, add a humorous touch. A lovely and satisfying ending tops off this fun, flirty and frisky read!😋😘😍
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.
This is the first book by Lula James that I have had the pleasure to read and I loved it!! I was hooked right from the beginning!! Talk about opposites attract, Prynne has been raised with church values and is virginal and Rhys is a no holds barred shock jock!! Prynne goes to knock on his door to to get her neighbor to turn down his music and Rhys answers the door completely naked!! Both of them have secrets and family issues that they keep to themselves will they come crashing down on them and ruin what they are building?? You will need to read the book to find out!! This book is sexy, witty and is full of humor, angst, drama and alot of HOT off the charts chemistry!! I can't wait to read her next book!! I highly recommend this book you won't be disappointed!!
This was a much better story then I thought it was going to be. For one, the story is long and covers a lot of detail compared to typical romance novels. While it gives a good story and details I was rather bored at sections of the book. Things could have been left out to speed up the book. I'm guessing that it was deliberately slow to give the readers a sense of how the relationship was supposed to progress. I liked both Prynne and Rhys. I felt Prynne was a little naive, but I guess that was supposed to be the point from how she grew up. I was glad she grew fairly quickly and matured. I also liked that Rhys had some depth to him and caring qualities. I liked the cast of side characters introduced and found myself intrigued by some of them. Overall the storyline had depth I and was rooting for the two main characters the whole time.
Exposed: A Miseducation Romance is Book One by author Lula Baxter. This was a fantastic read. I love Lula’s writing style and the flow of the storyline. The two main characters, Prynne and Rhys are a match made in heaven. They are complete opposites, yet they were just great together.
I really enjoyed this book. I love an "opposites attract type" of story. Add in the backgrounds of the two characters, and the story becomes deep and riveting.
I am excited to read the next book and hopefully read more about this couple and to get a more in-depth look at Prynne's amazing best friend! Exposed is a fun read that I think a lot will enjoy reading.
Just ok Secrets and whatever. Prynne's prudishness went back and forth for too long and got to be over the top to keep being believable. Her & Rhys' big secrets seem a little lame to me. Her secret could've added on some kind of danger or something to make it more understandable. His admission to her was that he had been publicly wrongfully accused of date rape and she was fine but she freaks out when he reveals he hosts a sex podcast. Maybe I'm too jaded. I was unimpressed. I did like that Rhys helped bring Prynne out of her shell and more confident with herself. Otherwise, it was just so-so for me. (I received a complimentary copy from Hidden Gems)
Prynne and Rhys are going to have you pull open your drapes, stand in front of that window, open it up and yell that EXPOSED needs to be read.
Lula has a way of writing that isn't easy to explain, it needs to be experienced. It's powerful and gives these two characters who are on two different ends of the rope a way to dance together and form that knot that wraps them up in a sexy and incredible bow.
That blurb had me intrigued but the story is an erotic masterpiece that you don't want to end. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.
A struggling romance writer lacking inspiration and experience meets an exhibitionist who gets a thrill of others watching him at a very unique hotel. Both running from pasts they both had no control over yet both needing to be seen for who they really are. Don't we all just want to be seen? This fun and sexy read will make you think about what you have done and what you are capable of. Great book to lose yourself in. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I give it a 3.5. There are some very interesting moments in this novel and I liked where it ended up. I enjoyed that we got to learn more about the secondary characters and the world these two live in. Though I felt at moments there was a little too much background exploration. The sexy bits didn’t really happen until the end so I was kind of waiting for them to happen. I also wonder how our main character jumped from such a sheltered upbringing to being a romance novelist. With all the backstory that wasn’t added!!
I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily reviewing.
Lula Baxter is one of the few authors you know her books always deliver! I just couldn't put this book down. Prynne was looking for an escape and checking into the Sexton Hotel hoping to work on her book. She gets a lot more than she bargained for when she meets her very sexy next door neighbor Rhys. She had no idea the Sexton Hotel was known for its exhibitionism. After meeting his neighbor, Rhys is attracted to her. A great read with plenty of steam to keep you reading until the last page!
An amazing well written love story. Rhys and Prynne were great characters that were likeable, relatable and just well developed with instant attraction and chemistry. These two were perfect together even though they were from different worlds and meshed so well together. You wont be dissapointed with lough out loud moments, family drama, twists and turns, chemistry, and just the right amount of back story that had me addicted page after page. A true soulmate finding with just the right amount of sexy times. I voluntarily reviewed this ARC.
I enjoyed this book so much! Exhibitionist Rhys is relaxing au natural in his hotel room when an annoyed Prynne knocks on the door to complain about his loud music and before long he has her baring all to anyone who happens to look up at the hotel window. Prynne and Rhys are likable characters with immense chemistry. Lula Baxter is a new to me author and her great writing just brought this story to life for me. This steamy romance is so funny, so sexy, and so sweet. I loved it.
I am voluntarily reviewing an advance reader copy of this book.
I enjoyed the book. Reminded me of the 18 and counting family for sure. Prynne is from one such family and always knew she wanted more than just to get married and be a mom. She goes to NYC and writes romance novels. She meets a nude man at the Sexton hot (which is known for being voyeuristic) and he proceeds to teach her to how to write a steamy novel by showing her how to let loose. I enjoyed both Prynne and Rhys' characters. They both had a good amount of back story and enough interesting, friendly interactions before moving into more. They just naively fell into love. 5 stars
A well written page turner... Prynne (aka Faith Flanders) is a writer. She gets a room at the Sexton hotel for the inspiration the fantastic views provide. What she doesn’t realize, until Rhys, her sexy neighbor that answers his door naked tells her, is that the Sexton is rather famous for the views that it provides to those outside. It’s an exhibitionists hotel. From that point on that’s all Prynne can think of.
Loved this book. Couldn't put it down once I started it. The main characters were likeable and relatable. The author did an amazing job in making the story interesting and made me feel like I knew the main characters personally. Loved how their relationship develops into a beautiful romance. Definitely one of the top books I have read in a long time.
