Like her stories the creations in the kitchen can be just as dubious but sometimes things turn out great.

He's a "Dirty B@st@rd" while controlling the city, but this "Dirty B@st@rd's" got Her brother's back, which means watching out for her & keeping her safe... I don't know why, but this story didn't hooked me. In all it was ok story and I didn't needed to force myself to finish it but.... That 'but' frustrates me because I can't explain why I'm feeling indifferent for this story.
But I'm curious about something. Or more correctly about someone. Noelles brother, Dane. I hope he will have his own story. There's something about him.

Jaxson Pierce has been like a brother to Dane Hunt for over fifteen years. Dane rules their city and Jaxson is his right hand man and protector. When Dane killed his own parents he became guardian to his younger sister, Noelle. Dane is very overprotective of Noelle because he has enemies who would gladly hurt her to get to him. Jaxson has wanted Noelle since she turned eighteen but he’s never wanted to jeopardize his friendship with Dane, until now. Noelle loves to bake and has wanted to open her own bakery since she was a child. She knows exactly who her brother is and what he does but she’s tired of it keeping her from living her own life. She’s had a crush on Jaxson for as long as she can remember but knows he would never look twice at a 25 year old virgin like her. Will Jaxson step up and claim his girl and risk the wrath of his best friend ? I loved Jaxson I just wish he would’ve made a move on Noelle sooner.

Lame.

Such a boring story. I forced myself to read this to see what happened from the first chapter only to be so disappointed. When the MMC is supposed to be all bada$$ and yet it’s someone else who saves the day is just rude. Lol. I don’t buy books for the side characters to do all the real work in the story. Besides that, when the male lead is to loyal/afraid of his partner to go after his woman for years is not attractive. If you’re afraid of your “partner’s” response to your relationship then he’s NOT your partner, he’s your boss. Smdh.

Anyway, there was nothing original in this story either. So the MMC never showed anything appealing, the FMC was a useless lump in never standing up for herself, and the most unlikeable brother ended up being the driver of the whole story. A most unsatisfying read.

While this book was good, I was left feeling like something was missing. I can't really say much because I honestly don't want to give anything away, but Jaxson and Noelle didn't hit that note for me. This is still a very good story and I will recommend it to anyone who asks. I'm hoping that Dane will get a story and maybe I'll get hooked on Jaxon and Noelle then! LOL

Really enjoyed Jaxson and Noelles story also so many books using Noelle name lol

Now as for our couple Jaxson was protective, charming , tough and such a dominant man.. he been wanting Noelle for awhile and didn't go after her since she was his best friend little sister and only family left... Noelle i felt so sorry for her.. she was kept in a bubble kept from living life she couldnt even feed the homeless without her brother going ape shit.. that was my biggest problem the brother... like their was protective but this was boardline crappy for her..but he had his reasons...

now together these two were hawt for one another but Noelle didn't want her brother killing Jaxson so she did push away but Jaxson wouldn't let her.. and told her the truth.. which i love!! No secret between the two..

Low angst, no ow/om drama, our guy wasn't a manwhore, drama.. torture (Noelle did get torture and she was touched by their kidnapper.. she wasn't raped)

Dirty Bastard is a wild ride with a whole lot of sweet. I loved the characters and even Dean for all his flaws is a well-developed character worthy of his own book. Jaxson is amazing and Noelle is a woman unlike any other. Ms. Crescent draws the reader into her world filled with hot dangerous men and the sweet soft woman who shows them play time is over. I highly recommend the writing of Ms. Crescent and the amazing story of Jaxson and Noelle.

When the bad boy gets his girl

Not all bad boys are bad all of the time. That is truly the case with Jaxson. He may be a hardened bad boy, but put Noelle in the room and his gooey center shows through. The author did a fabulous job of showing the love that flows between these two and the love Dane feels for them as well. Only a bad boy brother displays his love with a little violence. The HEA is perfect and sweet and will make you wish for your own bad boy. I hope we get to see what life has in store for Dane next.

OTT alpha male with sweet-loving h as a couple is a great combination to create a sweet indulging romance novellas. A good story plot rolling down as relationship grow due to long-time coming love. The story took us to see that both characters have history together, the courting, the possessiveness, and a bit problem brew near the end (but nothing major). All those elements are nicely complement the story really well.

I loved Jaxon and Noelle you could see there chemistry right from the start I did feel for Noelle having the life she does but I also new she wasn't stupid either. I'm super glad her brother Dane didn't kill Jaxon for falling in love with his sister. And I'm hoping Dane gets his book to I think he really needs it.

Dane is the only reason i forced myself to finish this book,am curious about him,his the one who intrigued me.Wondering if he gets his own story. As for this book,it just didn't have that hook,i was bored throughout reading it.
