Yeah, right. The minute I saw him on stage, the heartbreaking fears my ex-fiancé left me with went right out of my head. David's hips shimmied and my heart stammered.
How could anyone say no to that rock star god with a voice like an angel and moves like the devil? I didn't even try. Anyway, it was just one night. One crazy, skin-tingling, earth-shattering night. At least that's what I thought. Then David showed up. Again. He says he wants me, but I think he just wants to shed his bad boy image. His leather-clad looks go with the billionaire lifestyle, and I don't think he's about to change. Not for me. But it's not just us now. There's a family growing inside me, and I'm starting to think David deserves a chance. I've never been lucky in love, but this time it looks like luck found me.
There are good books, there are bad books, and then there are books like this. If I were in a better mood, I might actually make it through this one. There's just enough interesting story to make up for some of the incredibly clunky writing. A decent editor might even be able to turn this into something really readable. Unfortunately...
I made it as far as chapter 4. Unlike most of the books on my DNF list, this wasn't an "I want to throw it against the wall" book. Its problems made me sad, rather than angry. Here are a couple of examples:
The heroine has gone home with the gorgeous rockstar. He lives in a beautiful condo. He's offered her a drink, and she responds with "If you have water, that sounds great.” IF! I know it seems piddly, but seriously? Is there anywhere a rich person would live in the U.S. that doesn't have potable water? I hate, hate, hate that most popular media have made themselves unpaid shills for the bottled water industry! Deep breath. Ok.
The other examples are just awkward wording. Extremely awkward, in my opinion.
“Thanks,” he told me as I gazed into his chiseled face."
"My thighs exploded with pleasure and I felt it in every nerve ending as I gave into the sensation."
Sounds messy, doesn't it? And that's as far as I got.
If you don't share my intolerance for this kind of writing, you may enjoy the book. I just can't.
Not sure how I felt about this book. We have the good girl and the bad boy. With a few other stories going on in the mix. Cammie and Aubrey came close after they lost their mother and look out for each other. Then at David's concert something clicks, but will it work? Will they sabotage what they could have?

I really liked the story but I felt like it was too long. It seemed as though it would have been better to split it into a series of sorts where we can have a book for each member as a standalone instead of all of it into one. There were many things that were repetitive that goes better when it's a series. I did enjoy reading about David and Aubrey's story and how they overcame their obstacles but a lot of it could have been done into an epilogue or explored in the other stories if done separately. The intimate scenes were great and their relationship.

Aubrey revealed the horrible truth about her ex-fiance’s cheating to her sister, Cammie. Cammie poured the wine while they tried to sort out all the things that had to be done to cancel the wedding. Kyle was such a dirt-bag!
Half asleep in front of the TV, Aubrey snapped awake at Cammie’s squeal – tickets to see “Seven Lean”, a popular band, were available for Friday night! She was even able to get front row seats! They were even going to be going backstage to meet the band members! Aubrey had always had a little crush on David Foster, the lead singer. The band was wonderful, the songs full of emotion. Several songs in, Aubrey felt his eyes looking at her! It felt like he was singing the song to her! She knew he couldn’t be interested – until Cammie noticed too, urging her to go along with it, even just for a one-night stand to help her move on!
Backstage, Cammie greeted her catering coworkers while Aubrey sampled the food. She felt a change in the room, an intensity, and saw David move toward her. The sexy bad boy was arrogant and confident and knew what he was doing. He arranged a drink for her and they went to a private room to chat. He was very perceptive and knew when to ask lighter questions as he saw any sign of discomfort. She was different and he knew how to appreciate that. He let her set the pace, take what she needed from him, comfort or more. When he invited her to his condo, she accepted. She didn’t need a relationship, but it would be nice to enjoy his company. His tour was over, so he would even be staying a bit longer in the area and made it clear he would like to continue getting to know her. She wasn’t like other women and he really did want to spend some time with her. This would be the start of her new life.
When David and his brother went home for a long weekend at his parents, he didn’t contact Aubrey, thinking he should give her a little break. But not hearing from him stirred her insecurities and she figured he was tired of her. She let a guy at a bar take her to dinner, but he missed David and called for a ride home. David took an old girlfriend to dinner, but it didn’t work for him either. But when Brent, his band member, told him Aubrey had left with a guy, he was very upset. And the paparazzi had taken lots of photos to show David’s dinner companion and the hug she gave him. Are they each going to misinterpret what they think went on? Will they do something stupid in reaction to their own fears? And will Aubrey ever tell him her own secret?
This was a really terrific story. The main characters were very likable right from the start. They felt “real” and were people the reader could enjoy knowing. The story line moved quickly but at the perfect pace. This is a good one that will touch your heart. You definitely won’t want to miss it!
Aubrey just broke up with her boyfriend after discovering he was cheating on her with another woman. Her sister wants her to cheer up, and for that she takes her to a concert of her favorite band. There she notices that the singer, who she has always liked, doesn't stop looking at her during the performance. She meets him backstage, they talk and he asks her to go with him to his home. They start a relationship, although she knows it won't last, because of who he is. She likes to be with him, but being together is impossible. And after seeing pictures of him with another woman, she thinks they aren't together anymore.
David was tired of flings. He wants something more, but he knows he can't have it, not while he's still on tour. Until he gives up the music, he won't be able to dedicate himself completely to his partner, to treat her as she deserves. When she meets Aubrey, he immediately notices that she is a special girl, different from all those he has met before. He wants to know her, to spend time together. He wants her to know him for himself, not for being a famous singer. Everything is fine until he goes to see his family and ignores her completely that weekend. When his friend tells him that photos of him with an old friend have been leaked, he decides to go see her to explain the situation, but leaves after seeing how another man kisses her without speaking with her.
I loved Aubrey. She was a nice girl. She loved her sister and wanted her to be happy. And she wanted to love and to be loved, and she found love with David. She liked him, at first, because he was nice, he liked simple things, he loved his family (she was jealous, because she and her sister didn't have a family like his).
I loved David. He wanted to know Aubrey. He wanted her to know his family. He didn't mind it was soon. She was his inspiration. The first time they had sex without a condom, he feels that it's the first time he makes love in all his life, and he is happy that it happened with her.
I loved seeing their romance, and later following important moments with them. Their engagement, their wedding, their children.
I loved Brent and Cammie, and I was happy that they ended together.
I recommend it.

I’ve never read a book quite like this and that’s because it was so long and told the story of about four couples and their children/siblings simultaneously. David and Aubrey met at a concert in which he’s the star singer of her favorite band. Just coming out of a relationship with a cheating fiancée, Aubrey decides to let loose for one night to forget her troubles and inhibitions. David has always had his pick of ladies and groupies throughout his careeer as a rockstar but his meeting of Aubrey changed how he wanted his future to be much sooner than expected. This book basically chronicled their life together along with band mates and other various family members. Gaining wisdom and love, showcasing maturity and what married life entails was highlighted throughout the book. I love that David and Aubrey stayed true to one another and there was hardly any angst and drama over miscommunication and assumptions. It did get to be tiresome every time I thought the book wasn’t ending but it went on to showcase another five years of everyone’s life. It could have been broken up with secondary characters getting a novella or something but in a way it was refreshing to see how everyone grew without having to spend more money on book sequels. The chemistry and commitment Aubrey and David shared was refreshing to see as they were truly meant for each other.

This is a wonderful story about finding love when you least expect it. Aubrey has ended her engagement as she found her fiancé kissing another woman months before the wedding. Camille her older sister stays with her the first week and keeps her above water and talks her into the Seven Lean concert that her company is catering. During the concert the lead singer David starts to sing directly to Aubrey and with the back stage passes after the concert he makes a move to speak with her privately. David knows right away that there is something special about Aubrey and after spending one night together they find themselves spending a lot of time with one another. Aubrey is shy and unsure how to handle a one night fling. David is the lead singer in a popular rock band and can have any woman he wants but all he needs is Aubrey. At 18 Camille raised Aubrey after their mom passed and they have become extremely close. I love how they have each other’s backs through it all! This is a wonderful journey that David, Aubrey, their families and band mates all share on the road to success, finding love and happiness in their own ways. Aubrey has a sister in one in a million who really cares and looks out for her. When her cheating fiancée is caught her sister takes her to see her favourite band in concert and she loves how David, the lead singer, shimmies and makes her forget everything else but him and the music. He's having a time in his life where he knows that he wants to change but he realises that he can't have a partner properly unless something has to give with his music. He spots Aubrey and sees in her something he hasn't recognised in anyone else before. They have a one night stand that is beyond either of their expectations. SO much so, that he comes back and admits he wants more with her. I really enjoyed 'meeting' these two characters. They are both so easy to like and love and I can see what they see in one another. They each make the other better - apart from the fact that the air heats up whenever they are together. Misjudgements happen which could tear them apart but can they find a way back together? Another great story by Mia Ford which showcases her terrific writing style and skill. I look forward to reading her next romantic escapade. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Definitely recommended
The basic plot of the story that involves David and Aubrey was well done. If left alone this would have been a 5 star book. They make a beautiful couple who are committed to each other, their family and their close friends. They share the same values and are determined to build a loving and committed family despite the pressures of his job as a rockstar. Aubrey has to trust in his love and faithfulness because he previous fiancée had cheated on her. They form a tight community of helpers and support team with their family and friends that ensure that their marriage not only survives but thrives in this strenuous environment.
What detracts from the story is the 5 other couples whose story is also being told. That is 10 additional people plus the children they have to keep track of. Some of the details become repetitive and would have been better off doing a series. Also I am not sure how the title fits with the story with the exception of one line in the book. That said I am a Mia Ford fan and will always recommend her books.

Aubrey just got out of an engagement with her CHEATING ex because he couldn’t keep it in his pants and the woman she caught him kissing wasn’t even the same woman he was cheating on Aubrey with so that says a lot about Kyle you know the cheating ex, but lucky for Aubrey she has the best big sister in the world and they go to a concert to get Kyle off of Aubrey’s mind and a single moment changes everything for Aubrey.
David Foster is the ultimate Rockstar and when Aubrey catches his eye he can’t help himself by looking her way, but David isn’t sure of himself. He’s never been good at commitment and relationships especially in his like of work, but for Aubrey he wants to see where it goes even keeping casual and fresh is hard for him because he’s not sure of himself, but his status throws everything off and so does Aubrey’s ex, but David won’t give up and the sheer force of his determination lights him on fire to win Aubrey back and he makes sure it’s forever!

Aubrey and her sister go out the night Aubrey ends her engagement after seeing her fiancée cheating. The band on stage is playing and the lead singer keeps looking at Aubrey. Aubrey is drawn to David but is wary from her last relationship. After the band is done David goes to her and they start talking and end up leaving together. After an amazing night David knows that there is something different about Aubrey. However when he leaves to visit family he starts feeling like they are rushing into things together and pulls back. Aubrey doesn't understand why David pulled his disappearing act and tries to move forward. Will David admit that Aubrey is the only woman for him and claim her for his own?
This is a great story that'll will draw you in from the first page until the last. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend it to any book lover.

The Life Changing Night At The Concert - Aubrey was a homebody who didn’t like going out, unless she was convinced forcibly by her sister Cammie. David was the lead singer of a Rock Band, who had started getting bored of the life filled with partying, banging groupies and excessive drinking, that left him feeling empty and hangover for days after. David’s heart skips a beats during his concert, when his eyes meet Aubrey and life as he knew it, will never be the same again. David and Aubrey quickly realise after being together, that they are each others' one, but a misunderstanding and assumptions nearly cost them their happily ever after.
This is a love story, that start with an explosion and just keeps getting better as you turn the pages. This is a romantic, steamy and entertaining story, that once you start reading, you will find it difficult to stop. Due to the length of the book, I will suggest you read it during the weekend, because you won’t be able to go about your daily tasks.

ONE PERFECT CHRISTMAS GIFT!!! OMG! Wow! I'll get it out eventually. Maybe. In a whirlwind of emotions and events with a double dose of such epic proportions, you cannot help but love these characters. All the twists and turns, ups and downs, along with a few unexpected circumstances and unpredictable surprises that will totally blow you away, this is a must read. The uncertainty, heartache, fear and a little suspense make for one thrilling experience. The characters are complex and believable with such depth and individuality it's easy to relate. The two main characters have that instant attraction and strong, off the charts, explosive chemistry you can feel it rolling through the entire tale. The characters and scenes are written with such realism it really pulls this little jewel together beautifully. Mia did a remarkable job bringing this read to life flawlessly. Fantastic job Mia, thanks for sharing this little jewel with us.
This book was really good, I stayed up all night reading. *Cammie and Aubrey grew up together after they lost their mother when Cammie was two weeks off being eighteen, so she was able to look after Aubrey*. *Aubrey was engaged to be married when she caught her fiance kissing an other woman.* Cammie took Aubrey to a concert to see her favorite band, Aubrey had a crush on the lead singer. Cammie had back stage passes and that is when she met the man of her dreams, she decided to have a one night stand with him, while Cammie was sleeping with the guitarist. Cammie and Aubrey ended up living the same type of lives married with children. David's own siblings had their own partners some having children. Cammie and Brent was included in David's family, David's mum and dad loved their families. I could go on with the book but I want.

I love rockstar stories and I loved this one too. I love this author always. She writes hot sexy stories! Aubrey meets David by chance or fate at his band's concert after recently catching her cheating fiance. The gorgeous rockstar, intently focused on Aubrey, certainly helps her forget her ruined wedding plans. Although things with David are great at first, when he leaves for a family trip, he doesn't call, so a broken-hearted Aubrey just assumed it was over and that guys are jerks. But in this dual POV story, we hear what David is going through and you can decide whether you sympathize or not with the rockstar playboy!!!
[Sort of Spoiler] But once Aubrey and David get together, almost the whole second half of the book reads like an epilogue!! It's fun for us as readers, I guess, to 'see' into their future.... I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was a cute story - Aubrey suffered heartbreak and swore off men; her sister Cammie made her go out one night, where she met David, the lead singer for the band -> Seven Lean. He spotted her from his perch on the stage - the girls had backstage passes, and the rest is history. Though there were some misunderstandings, some great trips while David was on tour, separation while David was gone on another tour - of course this is understandable. The story of this group, this family is quite cute, I love how these people are all interwoven in each others lives - they are written into the stories and not forgotten about. What I really found endearing, was how towards the end of the book - our wonderful author advanced the timeline, and we got to see how their lives were moving along and how they ended up, and what more they hoped for.
This was a very enjoyable and lovely read. I loved all the characters and David was so in love with Aubrey it really made the book stand out. The book was a very good length which made you feel you were really getting to know all the characters and what part they played in the couple's life. With some stories you read it is a short read and just sex but with this story although there was plenty of hot sex between them, their story was family oriented. David had a large family but Aubrey only had her sister and it was great to see Cammie and Brent's romance bloom. Altogether a great romantic and sexy story of how to cope with life on the road. Loved it and recommend it to anyone who likes a sexy romance. I would have given it more than 5 stars if I could.

This is a love story of a Rockstar with a reputation and girl with a freshly broke heart who come together for a night of passion but realize it may just be more.
I enjoyed the story Aubrey and David. Mia did a great job of including the back story and supporting characters to fulfill the main story. This is definitely a HEA story. With that said I wish that is was broken up. I believe that the other character stories were included a bit too much. I also believe the story could be a bit repetitive and caused the story to drag out. There were several places I thought the story could have ended and it did not. I believe it would be better as a box set, epilogue, or series.
Over all I enjoy all the characters. All the family dynamics. I would just consider breaking it up.

Full of romance, steam, heartache, drama, and lots and lots of love. This story is so different than many others in this genre. It is a well written and well-developed sweet, heartwarming and endearing romance. The story flows smoothly and moves along at a brisk pace. This is a great story that will draw you in. The story is well built and is a definite page turner. The chemistry between the characters is off the charts hot and the story has plenty of twists and turns that will keep you hooked from beginning to end. The sex scenes are steamy and will set you on fire. Absolutely fantastic! The side characters add even more substance and depth to the story making it the enjoyable read it is. Well done Mia. I look forward to more!

I always like a long book, but I never expected it to be focused on the entire family which is good because it is different. Aubrey and David are the main characters, which start off very heated but then slow down and pick back up. The other characters/couples include Aubrey's sister, Cammie and David's best friend Brent; David's brother (which is more of an intro per say) Jacob and of course their twin sisters and their loves. Again, it is a pretty nice story especially as it focuses on family and the hype of being a rock star, but I missed the drama that I expected to get out of it, it seemed like it was going to have some at the beginning but failed to deliver. The story is still a good read none the less and several kids later, the magic is still there between Aubrey and David.

This was such an enjoyable read, Aubrey is at the end of a breakup with her ex fiancé after catching him cheating on her and has no desire to do anything but her sister Cammie gets free tickets to see Aubreys and hers favourite rock band Seven Lean and what tickets they are front row and then backstage passes to meet the band. Then the music start Aubrey let herself enjoy the songs dancing and sing away when she noticed the lead singer staring at her while sing, it’s was like he was singing to her the whole time and then later backstage he approaches her and asked her out and that’s when they started to fall in love and couldn’t stay from each other. There where a few miss understanding on both sides but in the end they where still standing. Want more read this amazing book you won’t regret it.

What a wonderful book by Ms. Ford. Mia continually amazes me with her creativity and in this release/storyline, Wet for Christmas, you get a look inside the life of a Rockstar. I never really thought about the difficulty famous people have with life and the lack of privacy they face, as well as the many things that are made up about them in the Press. What I will say is this is an amazing romance with Aubrey and David. Throughout this story, you meet family members, extended family and you watch the trials and tribulations of marriage and family life in general. Truly and intriguing read.
I was beyond fortunate to have requested an advanced reader's copy of Wet for Christmas in exchange for my honest/voluntarily given opinion. I strongly recommend reading this book as well as anything written by Ms. Ford.
Aubrey is suffering from a broken heart after discovering her fiancé has been cheating on her. Her sister Cammie suggests that they go to a Seven Lean concert to get Aubrey's mind off the breakup and have some fun. When the lead singer David Foster takes notice of Aubrey in the crowd while onstage Cammie tells her maybe a rebound is just what she needs. Will Aubrey's one night of fun have life changing results? This was a fabulous hot and steamy Christmas romance. David and Aubrey were a great couple and had sizzling chemistry. The story was well written and had an entertaining storyline. I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend it. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Rock stars have had the stigma of having a woman in every city where they have concerts. David, the lead singer of the Seven Lean band is in his home town of Seattle singing with his band. A much needed rest from touring and then to catch up on writing new songs are on the bands agenda. David feels a connection with Aubrey who he sees singing and dancing to each of his bands songs. Even though David hasn't thought about settling down and having a family, he feels that he can with Aubrey. I loved the honesty, trust, and hard work that David and Aubrey gave their relationship. With David on tour with his band, at stretches at a time. Aubrey is always a beacon of light for David to return home to. Their love for each other is endless❤
I loved reading this book! It was such a sweet story about finding love, trying to fight it, and then finally giving in and letting it just happen. Audry and David had a slight hiccup at the beginning because of her doubt in herself and David trying to self sabotage his feelings. Cammie, Aubrey’s sister, is a driving force to help them find their way back to each other. I loved how we see Aubrey and David found their way to each other and worked on their relationship to make it work. I really loved how we get to see their life after they finally find their way to each other. There are no I wonder what happened because we get to read it. I loved it!!

I liked Aubrey and David. They were great characters who had a lot of chemistry and a few steamy scenes, too. The story of their relationship; how they met, how they got started, and the challenges they faced was a good one and I enjoyed reading it. Besides the chemistry and steamy scenes, there was also drama and twists that kept me interested. Overall, I did feel the storyline was a little long though. There were many side stories with other characters going on that, I felt, detracted from Aubrey and David at times. If you enjoy rockstar romances I'd recommend giving this one a shot. *I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. This is my honest review.*
