Beth

I knew that a girl’s-trip to Miami was a bad idea.
I never did spontaneous things like that, especially not a one-night stand with a stranger.
But then, Vince Woods isn’t a stranger.
He’s one of the hottest NFL players in the country. A face everyone recognizes.
It’s over now. It was just a one-time-thing.
Besides, Vince is off all social media. He hates the limelight and paparazzi.

If anyone can shine a light on his game, it will be me.

Vince

I don’t need the social media attention. I hate these fads, and I prefer life as a celebrity recluse.
But my agent is convinced if I don’t get on social media now I’m going to lose all my deals and all my sponsors.
He’s bringing in an expert. Beth Thomas happens to be the expert. Beth, the sexy stranger from that nightclub in Miami.
I didn’t think I’d see her again.

But she’s just walked into my field, and she’s not just going to watch from the sidelines.

First book by author?

This book seems like maybe one of this author's first works, if that makes sense. I am having difficulty putting the feelings this book brought out in me. The book just seemed immature high school like story and characters actions instead of professional adults. Huge pet peeves in books: no condom used, not telling the dad about the baby! Everyone deserves the choice to be in their child's life and to take that decision away from someone is very immature, deceitful and cruel! Then, when he finds out, he blows up in one sentence and next is begging her to give them a chance. WTF? Have some pride, grow some balls and tell her what she was attempting to do was wrong and just being a bit©h! But alas none of that happened.
Hea, epilogue, no cheating bc they weren't really a couple until the end 😕. 1.5 stars only bc this was free on KU and I didn't waste $$ on this read!

I really enjoyed Beth & Vince' story. It had an interesting take on things from other sports romances I've read. Good book. I'm voluntarily leaving an honest review for a copy of the book.

ARC was given to me by Author through Booksprout. My review is given voluntarily.

Daddy Player by Holly Jaymes, book 4 in 'The Billionaire Sports Baby Romance'
I gave this book 5 stars. This is a sports based romance.
It was really good, I enjoyed it very much. I love books like this one. One night stand where two strangers experience the best, craziest fireworks sex of their lives, they think they will never meet again, of course the romance fairies have other plans for these two. Vince is one of the hottest NFL players in the country in Boston, and Beth is the best in her field working at a trendy social media marketing agency in New York city.
Vince is not up to par with the social media stuff, he is a private person when he's off the field, and he wants to keep it that way, he doesn't need a social media profile. His agent, and friend Leo thinks differently and conveniences him to give it a week with the expert in that field. This will put him out there so his fans can get to know him better in his every day life.
The sparks really fly afterwards, these two where made for each other, but Beth has suffered a broken heart not to long ago, and trusting men is hard for her. He is all about one night stands, and he has no problem getting women - a serious relationship is not for him he will remain a rich bachelor.
This was an emotional read for me, the love and friendship in between the secondary characters was great. We revisit all the other previous players in the series. The sex wasn't too much, but it was Hot enough, and just perfect for this book. There was definitely a misunderstanding and lack of communication with Vince and Beth, but as any old good romance novel we had a HEARTWARMING HEA.

(Review with spoilers - I haven't read the other books in the series)

I loved it. Nice romance. I recommend it.

Beth thinks things over before she acts. But she didn't do it the night she met Vince, a famous football player. She doesn't regret what happened, she just regrets that he doesn't remember her, because he was drunk. But she is surprised when she is hired to work with him and discovers that he remembers her, and wants to be with her.

I loved Beth. She's smart, loyal to her friends, and her heart is broken. She has a hard time trusting. And, when she does it with Vince, she thinks it's a mistake, that he'll forget about her easily, that she's not important to him. She wants to be with him, but she can't tell him. And when she finds out she's pregnant, even less so. She doesn't want him to think she got pregnant on purpose. She knows how he is, generous, kind, and doesn't trust him.

I loved Vince. He had never felt a connection with anyone until he met Beth. With her he wants what he hasn't had before. He wants to know her, to know everything about her, to know her family. It hurts when she tells him she's leaving, he thinks it's a revenge of the universe for the way he's behaved before with other women. He thinks that he should have told her how he feels, but he feared that she would reject him, that's why he didn't stop her. He should have tried, and not let her run away from him.

I loved them together.

I loved their friends. And the kids.

I received an ARC from the author, and this is my honest review.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the story of Beth and Vince. They met in Miami and had a one night stand. Vince was a pro football player and the last of his friends that was single. Vince was known as a player, but there was something about Beth he couldn't forget, and he regretted he had no way of finding her. Beth worked for a marketing company in New York and when her boss told her she was going to be working with Vince to give him a social media profile, she wondered if he remembered her. When Beth went to Boston to meet Vince, he was happy to see her and wanted to talk to her about their time together, but she wanted to keep things professional. When Vince invited Beth to his house with the idea of taking pictures for his profile, they couldn't fight their attraction to one another. Afterward, Beth ran out on him and refused to explain why. When they continued to see each other for work, they both still wanted the other. When it got to be too much for Beth, she returned to New York leaving Vince wondering why. I liked this book. I liked Vince and he really wanted to find the happiness his friends found. Beth was hurt in the past and she was scared, but i think she really cared for Vince. Good one.

This was a great book that had chemistry, angst, lack of communication, frustration, shmexy shmexy and unconditional love. It touched on very relatable issues that most couples go through. We have all felt at one time or another a heartbreak, miscommunication, or frustration with others in our lives. I've come to learn with pain there is a vulnerability and with that vulnerability there is the tendency to shield ourselves by any means not realizing that as a hurt person we hurt others... not intentionally but because we want to be released from our pain but the insecurity of stepping out again, not wanting to be hurt and flat out just not trying period can all leave us in that position of hurt and leaves us existing but not truly living. I absolutely enjoyed this book and all of the characters including those supporting my new favorite couple. Beth and Vince may have met on a whim but their journey had everything that makes relationships what they are. The one thing I would have told Beth is a closed mouth doesn't get fed! #Communicationiskey :)

I love this book about four best friends that find love and Vince is the last holdout until he meets Beth Thomas in Miami and his life and hers will change forever. Beth was with her friends Gia, Suzy in Miami after her breakup with her ex and wasn’t looking for anything but just having fun with her friends and she never dreamed of having a one night stand with Vince Woods the NFL star was in the cards that weekend because she doesn’t do that but what the hell he was hot and he wanted her and she him and what a night it was hot raw and real and neither one could forget about each other and as fate would have it Beth’s boss sends her to Boston to help out a new client with his image and its him Vince Woods how can they keep away from each other when the chemistry is off the charts. What happens now we’ll I could go on it was that good but get this book for yourself to find out what happens next.

This was an outstanding book about an athlete (Vince) in which sports doesn't dominate and a photographer (Beth) who is just trying to do her job. If you're looking for rough and tough football games, forget it. If you're looking for a loving quarterback who is moral, ethical and an all around interesting guy, check this out.
Beth is a fantastic photographer who has high standards for herself both professionally and ethically. Vince almost turns that upside down by catching her attention and thrusting a lusty, one night stand into her memory banks. And then they both want more.
How they work around many obstacles to finding love makes for a great, high-interest read. A close friend of Beth's gives her some horrible advice which should be a warning to others, "Sometimes your friends are just wrong. "

Vince and Beth meet and have a one night stand when she is on vacation. A Few months later her boss is sending her to deal with a new client and it turns out its Vince. Vince is a famous football player and his agent thinks he needs to be out on social media more and have him see Beth's agency about doing it. When they meet again sparks reignited as they try to be professional. Beth knows any misstep could end her career and that she needs to put what happened between them behind her but its hard when he tempts her everyday. Will they give in to temptation? What will happen if they get caught?

This is an amazing story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

I really enjoyed this book – it is absolutely fantastic and in keeping with the previous books in the series! It is a well written and well-developed sweet, heartwarming and endearing romance. The storyline is flawless, funny, witty, enjoyable, and very interesting. The story flows smoothly and moves along at a brisk pace with a few ups and downs and a mix of emotions on every page. The chemistry between Vince and Beth is powerful and intense and their sex scenes are beautifully written and described. I really enjoy the characters of this series ‘Private School Bad Boys’ and how close they are; I admire even more how hands-on they are with the kids. There is not a boring moment in this book and at no time will you get lost. Pick up a copy you will not regret it.

STEP UP AND TAKE A BOW!!!
Oh, heaven to betsy! Talk about a hard road to follow. This is one exciting, action packed, fast paced, heart pounding, pulse racing, smooth flowing, page turning wonder that's as riveting as it is captivating. In a whirlwind of emotions and events that transpire really pulls those heartstrings to the max. All the drama, frustration, heartache, gut wretching, nailbiting, increasing steadily while tension spirials as the plot thickens. Twists and turns abound with unexpected circumstances and unpredictable surprises that make for one thrilling experience. The characters and scenes are written with such realism it really pulls this little jewel together beautifully. Holly did an amazing job bringing this read to life. Fantastic job Holly, thanks for sharing this little guy with us.

When Beth Thomas went to Miami for a weekend with her 2 best friends, she never thought she would have a one night stand with NFL quarterback and known player, Vince Woods. She was even more surprised when 2 weeks later he boss told her she was going to be his new social media campaign manager.
Vince hasn't been able to get Beth off his mind since that one unforgettable night. When his agent told him they hired someone to work on his social media campaign he was not happy until he learned it was Beth. This is a well written book that I enjoyed reading. The characters great chemistry and very likable.

Reading this book seriously gave me whiplash - not with our hero Vince but with the heroine Beth.. This woman was seriously screwed up! IMHO she seriously did not deserve a sweet man like Vince. She wants the sex then decides it's a mistake every single time. Then she gets mad when she happens to see a picture of Vince in a bar with another woman and cue the oh woe is me when who's to blame but herself?? and she decides not to tell him about the baby?? No just no.. I didn't even bother to finish this book.. It just hurt to much to finish it and annoyed the heck out of me.. If i could spare Vince from this woman, trust me I would!

The final lad in the clique finally succumbs to true love.

Was great to read about Vince’s story as he was the enigma, I loved Beth’s character and appreciated her conviction to try and lead an independent life rather than having to settle for rejection. Was impressed with the level at which Vince showed us his vulnerability.

The preview of His Fake Fiancé has me so excited I just can wait to read it.

3 1/2 stars.
Daddy Player is the fourth book in this series by Holly Jaymes and features Vince, an NFL quarterback, and Beth, a social media expert. I loved the characters and wished for more verbal interaction between them. There is a lot of steamy sex but the story does not depend on those scenes. The book is well-written and the author delivers a satisfying HEA ending.

Are they meant to be together?

Out of the series I loved this one the most. Vince just stole my heart! They both with Beth wanted to be so careful with their own hearts not to be broken that in the process they did it anyway. From the first meeting they were meant to be together but will they at the end see this and stop hurting themselves? I spend really good time reading their story and was cheering them all the way.

A fantastic quick read, after a one night stand beth ends up meeting Vince again on a professional level. The sparks fly but neither of them wants to admit that there is more to the moments they share. Beth has been hurt in the past, and Vince is determined to remain single.

A great romance story, with a HEA.

This is fourth book in series. Best to read in order for better understanding of backstory. NFL star Vince is a confirmed bachelor that stays out of social media. His manager hires Beth to start and manage Vince’s social media campaign. They had previously et and had a night of passion. While working together the passion ignites and flames explode. He is the last to fall of his group.

Sometimes fate brings people into our lives.

Trusting the situation, the people, and ourselves is the hardest part.

When we allow ourselves to trust and follow our own fates we will find change in ourselves and those around us.

Don't fear change, trust, and fate will fill your life with blessings.

Beth and Vince will show you how it's done!

This is a wonderful story, it's well-written and quick to read. Vince had an immediate pull and connection to Beth from the first time he sees her, can he show her he's not the player he is made out to be and can he push through Beth's walls to have a future with her.

Wonderful bad boy romance read. The storyline is well-written, steamy, has great defined main characters, some drama, miscommunication, relatable problems and a second chance. The characters also show emotional growth and maturity as the story progresses. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.
