Nice collection of facts, but they do repeat several of them 2 or 3 times. They're also randomly presented without much thought for curating, and it ends rather haphazardly and abruptly.

Most stories are from 1-3 paragraphs long. Just filled with some little tidbits relating to Chicago. Some more interesting than others. Some outdated, this was published almost 20 years ago in 2005. Still it was enjoyable and a book I could pick up at any time and put down without having to get invested in.
