First let me state, I received an Advance Reader Copy, (ARC), but this in no way influences my review. I always leave an honest review.
Wow, I really enjoyed this group of stories. They flowed so smoothly together that it didn't take me that long to read them. In book 1 we meet Alexa {Lexa}, who is a strong, smart young woman. Here she is at 18 thinking she's a "pilt" a non-magical person & being an orphan she's nothing but a thief. But then along comes Mirian, ( a man), who's a master mage and shows her she's actually a powerful witch and she's brought into the resistance. In book 2, Lexa is now an Auditor for M.A.G.I.C., {the magical police} and she has Charlie as her partner. They make a gr8 Team and are actually doing really well. But she pushes just a little bit too much and finds herself in major trouble. In book 3, Lexa is now a criminal locked away in a nasty prison, but she’s innocent and has no clue why President Kiren Nightstorm would do this to her. She’s tortured by a couple of guards, but luckily she makes a couple of friends and with them she starts to plan a break-out {which has never been done}. I truly enjoyed this story and can't wait to read Book 4. I recommend this read. 5 Thumbs up

An amazing set..
This 3book set is simply amazing. Every type of magical creature I've heard of plus a few I'd never even imagined and I have a great imagination, appear in this story. Yet the basic storyline could have been taken from today's headlines. An evil politician wants to take over the magical realm and the mortal one as well and a dedicated resistance and a few incorruptible police officers are determined to take them down. The writing is outstanding and the characters are fully developed and very charismatic or revolting determined by what side of line they stand on. These are the first three books in the Awakened Spells Series. If you luv paranormal war stories with lots of action and adventure, with a little romance in the mix, don't miss this box set free on Kindle Unlimited. Highly recommended.

What an amazing set (3 Books 1 thru 3) of books in the Awakened Spells series. Logan Bryne has a fantastic imagination and a way with words with which he has created an amazing world populated by a great array of magical creatures. His character development is spot on -- love Lexa. All three books are page-turning adventures, action packed, and a little romance. You are drawn into the story and with each time life makes you stop reading, you are anxious to get back into the story. I highly recommend this box set as it will hook you and you'll need to get book 4.

Seemed good , but!
Seemed a good storyline but the ‘heroine ‘lets it down , came across as a spoilt, headstrong individual and somehow what could have been good stories leaves you with an unsympathetic feeling for her !
