The wheel of time is a fascinating force. Sometimes it seems to only crawl along, while at other times it simply hustles. And when you tend to look behind, you expect that most puzzles would fall in place. But do they eventually?
Ramanuj, a village boy is confused about most things. He shares a strange rapport with his father, who, despite financial issues doesn’t stall his education. But Ramanuj has no idea what to do with himself.
Then one day things change and change permanently. There is no looking back from this bend; there cannot be. He meets Mr. Shrirangpure, through a chance meeting in a hospital through his daughter Pallavi. Something prompts him to appear more ambitious than he would like to have been.
Impoverished and submissive, he manages to rise above the shackles with time, even though everything is still stuck to his past. But now he cannot get back. He doesn’t want to. Until a revelation, prompts him to go back to his roots again. To the same tree, with which he shares a bond; to the drain water, with which he has shared many a memory; and to the same surrounding, which formed his core once.
This is a story of a boy who tried to end his life once. He loved as well and tried to rise to a level to become worthy of it. A boy, whose journey is all about mostly looking back.
‘The Sameness in a Consistent Change’ is a story of this interesting journey. A journey, devoid of a destination, perhaps. But the fun, sometimes, lies only in the journey.

'Different beads of the Same String' was his first book.
The story is about Ramanuj, a poor villager, pondering over his journey of life and the ups and downs he faced. Yet there is a sameness that stayed with him all his life. The story shows his struggle, the hardship he faces and his miseries. The cover of book is catchy depicting the various shades life goes through and so is the title. The story has very few characters Ramanuj being the central one. It has nothing extra ordinary yet it is an interesting one time read. A few more pages and little more content could have given a better feel to the story.
Starting with the cover it is nice and title is quite simple and catchy. The book is short and can be completed in few hours with breaks in between. There is not much story depicted and has a few characters and scenes. But I liked some scenes which had emotional touch. The writing of the author is also good and it's in a beautiful poetic style. Language is easy and paced. What I loved the most is ending because it had a beautiful message.

My review :-
The book Sameness in a consistent change has nothing interesting or out of the ordinary. The cover is nice but nowhere related to the book. It's hard to find the correlation in the title to the story either. The writing of the author is good and in a poetic style. Has some complex vocabulary but doesn't make it too hard on the reader's part. The book is too small of around 42 pages and could be finished in one sitting.
Coming to the story, nothing to highlight about. Has very few characters and just a few scenes and the entire story is a throwback of an old man about to die revisiting one or two of his important phases of life. Story doesn't move forward and even the 42 pages seems to be dragged. The author could have included more scenes and content and made the book better. Doesn't disappoint you completely but not worth a second read either.

Book Evaluation: The leaf changing color through different seasons yet retaining its shape on the cover is a perfect depiction of the title, “The Sameness in a Consistent Change” It is a simple read which you can finish in a day’s worth of time with easy to understand language. The blurb is very descriptive and paints the picture of expectations you will have from the book. The character, Ramanuj, Pallavi, and Sharda are depicted in a straightforward but grand way. The title is very attractive and what made me read this one in first place. It is good for one time read and makes a good collectible for your kindle.

" The Sameness in a Consistent Change " by Sujay Malik is the story of a village boy "Ramanuj", the one who is confused about life. It talks about the struggles or I would say his confusions towards his life. With a great message and emotional touch, the story of the book is short and simple. With a very few characters and scenes , the whole story is a flashback of an old man.
The title "The Sameness in a Consistent Change " is simple and catchy. On the other hand the cover page of the book is not so eye catching and also it looks so simple.
Language of the book is lucid , simple and easy to understand. Characterization of the story built so well.
Book Title: 4/5 Book Cover: 3.5/5 Plot: 3.5/5 Characters: 4/5 Narration: 4/5 Language & Grammar: 4/5 Final Rating: 4/5
One and all , I would say its not a philosophical read but it will surely Change your view towards life ! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book.I would personally recommend this book to all the book lovers and specially to those who love short stories .
This is a life story of Ramanuj, a village boy who had goals to achieve. But mentally disoriented because of his family condition. He was shattered when his dad passed away. Later, he went through lot of struggles in his life. One day Pallavi came into his life like an angel to uplift it.
How he achieved his goals? How he managed to live after his father's death?
Review:
A short story which is not a philosophical one but provokes you to think about life. A quick read with some thoughtful and deep quotes. My favourite one is
" He had a habit of blaming nature for somethings in which natute had not much to do."
It is fully focused on Ramanuj's life struggles and the way he handled it. The journey we traveled and the effort we took to reach our goal is important not the destination we reached. It's a motivational read.
The title itself is quite inquisitive and intriguing. The book cover fits suitable with the content of the book. A short story of a man who ponders into his past , recalls all the event that have taken place throughout hid life. The story keeps the reader engaged in imagining the different scenarios one faces in the society and how different people have different opinions based on the age they are at or the society the live in. Ramanuj who comes from a poor family has to suffer so many up and downs in his life and out of all the incidents that occurred in his life, there's one major such incident which changes the whole life of his. But the sameness stays with him the whole life with him irrespective of the changes that take place in his life.
The story is good, the writer keeps readers engaged in visualising as well as leaves readers intrigued to think the differences that are so mundane in our society.
The cover is simple and sober with images of different shades of leaves which looks consistent with the stories.
What an amazing title "The Sameness in a consistent change". It's an appropriate title for the stories with are based on variety of cultural backgrounds of our Indian Society.
The blurb of the book describes the content of the novel very well.
The stories are quite unique and described very well by the author. It is based on the various topics from areas with less population to big cities, from cultural norms to unique characters.
What I loved is the way these stories are written.
The sameness in a consistent change is a very short book of 42 pages which can be read in just 1 sitting. Being a short tale, it keeps the reader hooked with its unique plot and simple, lucid writing style. One of the very few negative points of this book is, it has a lot of grammatical errors which irks the reader. Apart from the critical aspects, the title of the book is different from the usual short books which proves to be a plus point. If you're looking for a quick read with a lot of bringing up philosophical topics such as meaning of life and journey , this book is for you.
This book is about emotions and perceptions. How some perceptions can decide everything in a persons life and impact him till the end. The story by the writer is a brilliant attempt, especially considering the philosophical aspect of the story. However this is only a short book, which fail to do justice to a lot character development and the voice that Ramanuj's musings needed, before they were concluded. The book should be a full length novel, and if it was so, the writer's philosophical take on "perceptions" would have made it a masterpiece. I hope he re-writes it like that.

The story describe the emotional, sentimental feelings and the living in poverty. The writer has very well narrated the past and present life events. The book is of 42 pages, and make u feel many emotions. I wish best of luck to the author for his future endeavors.
The title is one of the best read so far including the cover. No doubt there are some typing errors and some common mistakes but no one is perfect. One cannot deny that the story is a nice short read , without exaggerating it. We all come across so many love stories, life stories but I found this one different.
This is the story of "Ramanuj", a small town boy who had goals to achieve. But mentally disoriented because of his family condition. The story keeps the reader engaged in imagining the different scenarios one faces in the society
This book is a very simple and short read of 42 pages so its a quick read with some thoughtful and deep quotes.
Amazing story 👍👍. The way of delivering the past & present life is quite impressive. I was expecting more twist and turns. But it's fine, writer beautifully conveyed few messages through this story.
Its a short novella that can be finished at one sitting. A simple story that doesn't have much to offer. The story talks about the past , present and future of the protagonist who tries to find answer for unanswered questions of his life.
The narration could have been better A simple plot, catchy title , good cover lucid language and justified characterization makes it a one time read.....
