SwingQuest is PGA Coach Peter Finch’s first coaching book! Based on lessons delivered at Quest Golf Academy Finch shows how changes made to his clients improved techniques, scores and enjoyment of this wonderful sport. This book focuses on what Finch has learnt about the full swing throughout a decade coaching golfers of all abilities. It also looks at how technical models don’t truly exist and how golfers need to learn that they have their own swing to master.
Peter Finch is a full-time poet, critic, author and literary entrepreneur living in Cardiff, Wales. Until June 2011 he was Chief Executive of Literature Wales (formerly Academi), the Welsh National Literature Development Agency. As a writer he works in both traditional and experimental forms. He is best known for his declamatory poetry readings, his creative work based on his native city of Cardiff, his editing of Seren's Real series, and his knowledge of the UK poetry publishing scene.
Peter Finch you've done it again! After following you on YouTube for some time now I was eager for the release of this book and it doesn't disappoint. Anybody looking to improve and just understand more about how the golf swing works needs to give this a read.
Really interesting and useful content. Seems well aligned to what I’m doing in my own lessons with my own coach this winter and will be a useful extension of them.
Its easy to get lost in technique and ultimately not enjoy the game as you should. This book will help you get back to basics and help you use practice properly and hopefully get out and enjoy 18 holes.
I have been watching Peter’s videos on YouTube for the past couple of months, and it has tremendously helped my golf game. This book is a great overview of all his teachings and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their game and learn new drills.
