Dale was born in Buffalo, New York on November 2, 1956. He graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Western European History and received an Air Force commission in 1978. He was a navigator-bombardier in the B-52G Stratofortress heavy bomber and the FB-111A supersonic medium bomber, and is the recipient of several military decorations and awards including the Air Force Commendation Medal with oak leaf cluster, the Combat Crew Award, and the Marksmanship ribbon.
Dale was also one of the nation's first Air Force ROTC cadets to qualify for and complete the grueling three-week U.S. Army Airborne Infantry paratrooper training course.

Dale is a director and volunteer pilot for AirLifeLine, a non-profit national charitable medical transportation organization who fly needy persons free of charge to receive treatment. He also supports a number of organizations to support and promote law enforcement and reading.

Dale Brown is a member of The Writers Guild and a Life Member of the Air Force Association and U.S. Naval Institute. He is a multi-engine and instrument-rated private pilot and can often be found in the skies all across the United States, piloting his own plane. On the ground, Dale enjoys tennis, skiing, scuba diving, and hockey. Dale, his wife Diane, and son Hunter live near the shores of Lake Tahoe, Nevada.

I'm not sure what Dale Brown is up to with this story and its timeline of 1998. The ending left me unfulfilled and with more questions than answers. Therefore, this is hardly the "end game." 4 of 10 stars

This is a bit different to the other stories that I have read by Brown, but no the less just as gripping.

The team has to stop a war developing between the Pakistan and Indian governments, but China is supporting Pakistan and on top of that, there is an American ship who captain wants to make a name for himself.

The Indian and Pakistan governments aren't aware that the sabotage of radar and oil units are the Iranian government and until the members of the covert team are caught so that everyone can see who is to blame, then there is a high risk of nuclear war.

The only things more unbelievable than the weapons and the plot were the characters. These characters could not get along with any one and could not take orders. That is not too likely in the military. Considering the plot the only real outcome would be world war III.

Usually I like an occasional techno-thriller this one was not so good. Superficial characters even though this is part of a series with other books involving the same characters. Over plot tried to cover too much territory in too short a time. Think I will hold off before another Dale Brown's Dreamland for a while.

Amazing air and sea battle! I've also learned a lot from this book about the super weapon, plane, ship, etc. of USA, China and India (I never thought China and India also has a super Battleship/Aircraft Carrier such as The Deng Xiao Ping and Shiva!) military! I love the story which mixed up with hi-tech gadgets and weapons.

Dale Brown's stuff is always a good read to me. It's not as serious as the Tom Clancy stuff, and full of "gee wiz" technology for everyone to play with - specifically the Navy and the Air Force. Of course, the Dreamland team saves the world yet again.

I've been a fan of Dale Brown and the Dreamland series for a long time now and this novel didn't disappoint. The characters although now well established still seem slightly one-dimensional, but the action is fast and believable as always.

Nice to read something from Amazon that's been properly proof read. Then again it's not a unlimited book either.
