This is a minimalist RPG for post-apocalyptic settings like The Road Warrior (Mad Max). I think it's better suited for one-off or mini-campaigns rather than for long form play, but there's certainly nothing wrong with that approach, especially for a game where it's this easy to pick up and start. The settlement rules are probably the most interesting part. I haven't had a chance to test them to see how the balance is but just based on reading them they are a relatively simple and elegant way to address the concept of scarcity and survival for a wider community in such a setting.

Tiny Wastelands is a great RPG setting using the TinyD6 system. We played a single session game and everyone at the table had fun. Since playing that one session, the game has come up in conversation several times.

The system allows for flexibility for everyone around the table. Tests are quick resolutions for attempting an action that could fail, which allow the story to continue without getting hung up on all of the contributing factors.

Another title that demonstrates the versatility of the TinyD6 "rules-lite" system. Rules for mutations, building enclaves in a ruined wasteland, and constructing patchwork vehicles of the apocalypse were seamlessly added, but to me the real value of this book are the sheer number of sample campaign settings (a typical feature of TinyD6 books, from what I gather.) Anyone who reads this book and then goes on to build a Mad Max setting is missing out on some great ideas.

There's an excellent amount of content for a small footprint game; they hit all the major points you'd expect in a game with this title including vehicles and the Enclave.

One of the reasons it's a joy to read is that even though it's small on core crunch they don't skimp on layout or art. I've seen larger books where you can tell maybe the publishers let the author/writer do the layout when they should have hired someone with an eye for layout and look and feel. Not so here.

A nice post-apoc rule tweak for Tiny D6. The enclave rules are a nice additional level of play that are easy enough to maintain without drawing from the main story, and could easily be applied to other systems, so they could be worth the look themselves. While I have found some of the microsetting collections for the other TD6 genres to be unimpressive, there are few misfires here, definitely many worthy of trying for a one shot or tweaking for your own campaign.
