The story of a young engineer from Delhi. Surviving the politics of the finding a good corporate job in the blooming IT industry. The characters are Arjun, Raj his friend and also Shreya the love of his life and his parents - mom and dad. How he turns his life and achieves what he wants. The end is very beautiful. Must till the end. And it's a very quick read.

The Ineligible Millionaire is the story of Arjun and his journey over a period of 10 years. The story begins with Arjun struggling to get a job in his campus placement but failing to do so because of his poor score in 10th and 12th standard. His family's indebtedness adds to his pressure.
Since Arjun keeps trying to overcome all his challenges by working hard, his story becomes motivating for the reader. His character never gives up and that makes him endearing.
All the same, I felt that Arjun's relation with Shreya could have been etched out better since it wasn't developed properly and felt abrupt at times. The writing is easy and conveys the story but it could have been more refined.

The story on the whole is a relatable read and is fast paced but is not without a few issues.

A story of a life journey of a boy named Arjun . He comes from a lower middle class family and his father was in huge debt . In top of it, he was not able to get job after completing Engineering. He worked hard and after going through lots of up and down finally, destiny and his hard work paid off. He not only achieved everything his heart desired for but also fulfilled each dream of his parents. He lost his love but he deal with it by fulfilling her last dream too.
A inspirational read as we got the glimpse of hardship and saw how the protagonist achieved success.
A must read !!

The ineligible millionaire is a story about the character named Arjun trying to take on the responsibilities of his family, their debt and his life in general. The story stretches for about 10 years. The characters are well described and are very relatable. The plot is good but the story didn't seem to carry it well. The writing seemed raw and simple, it was very easy and smooth read , the book is fast paced. If you are looking for a book that will motivate you through any kind of problems in life then this is the book for you.

My Opinion: Guys, recently I have been reading alot of books which will gear up my energy & prove helpful to motivate me. This book was one of them, this book took me to the entire journey of the protagonist & I felt that it was my own journey & not his! I felt like I was the protagonist & I was going through everything he was going. Each & every sentence was strong & bold! It is people's misconception that low page count books are not powerful but if you think this then you should read this! It's overall a powerful & a strong read. Well, the book was negative, heart breaking & just like the protagonist I felt so hopeless & doubted why I am living & I am just useless so definitely you can guess how much powerful it was! Taking about the cover- it's bit dull! But the title is strong enough to attract anyone. I highly recommend it!
.
Pros: I am highly recommended it because this book takes you to a journey which is very relatable & will motivate you in many ways & I think that's what we people lack- motivation, isn't? Like always, language was simple yet strong & powerful! It was a short read! On the other hand, the plot was very filmy & had bollywood masla which made me laugh & cry!
Cons: Well, cons were none but I think the author could work more on being patient while writing because he has bought many things at once which may confuse an inexperienced reader! Well, wasn't a issue with me!

An amalgamation of motivation, friendship, love, struggle and the urge to create something is well-embedded in ‘The Ineligible Millionaire’ by Tarun Varshney. It is a 10-year long journey of a boy named Arjun; in hardships, debts and academic troubles, he finds himself trapped in a circle of pity and disparity. With the thought of the love of his life, Shreya, and the support of his best friend, Raj, he has to survive the cruel world of relentless competition. When opportunities knock at his door, he has to decide which ones to open and which to ignore. But is the need to earn money, the sole aim of his life? Is that what he is destined for?

This book was simply amazing. It was motivating and inspirational. It highlights so many aspects of real life. The criteria to apply for a job which appears to be irrational, the struggle in everyday middle-class life, and dealing with backstabbers – all find their way in the novel. It states the message of people taking advantage of you because you’re in no positive to do anything against them. It also highlights the strength of friendship, the power in one’s conviction and the ups and downs of life.

The author has amazing narrative skills. His words flow with emotions. It is a scary, competitive and selfish world out there and the novel says it all. The characterization is perfect, and so is the setting. It feels so read, it is almost biographical.

The romance section wasn’t actively put out, but that didn’t hinder my reading in any way, whatsoever. The book was fast-paced. It might make you feel uncomfortable because you can relate or sense the hardships of the protagonist. The cover picture (not the best, but) conveyed the emptiness and the sea of unknowing Arjun felt.

I would definitely read this book again. This is the kind of book you can re-read and it will cheer you on. I definitely recommend it to everyone, especially college students. The world is unfair but you need to learn how to deal with it.

Story cover shows us to watch dreams with open eyes Cause they will come true for one-day and do hard work always pays off and so may live examples of that is already given inside it.
Language is simple.
All the thing is the story is the amazing and written heart.
The story starts with down-to-earth and ends with down-to-earth I totally loved this writing.
The girl's characters are quite good maybe there is no need of her,
I will reveal her truth cause it will spoil the story
Recommend: to those people's especially God has given them nothing.

About Story :
This is a 10 yr long journey of Arjun, who is struggling to get job because of his poor academics. His father is deeply in debt since long time. So he needed a job at any cost. This books shows his journey from as a struggler to working in well reputed company.

How an ineligible candidate becomes a millionaire? To know this you have to read this book.

My Review :

Title is very apt & goes with story very well.

Cover also justifies the story.

Arjun's story teaches the lesson that instead of cursing your unfavorable situation, work hard, try to find new opportunities & don't stop until you get success. Always keep one thing in mind that there is no substitute for hardwork.

Story also covers topics like college life, compition for ranking, recruitment procedure, corporate life, true value of friendship, love & family.

Language is is very easy.

Lessons to be learn from the story are :

Success means you donate 10% of your income when you have sufficient for your needs. If every person in this world who has sufficient for their needs would donate 10% of their income per month to help poor children, then how beautiful this world would be.

Have a clear goal, no matter what. Just keep working till you achieve it. Hard work always pays.

Money is not everything in life. Happiness also matters.

Follow your dreams, not money.

Overall I found this book is very inspirational.

Recommended to everyone but
Specially trecommended to strugglers & depressed ones who are unemployed. This book is like ray of hope for them.

Book : The Ineligible Millionaire
Author : Tarun Varshney
No. Of pages : 264
Rating : (💟💟💟💟) 4/5

It is the story of Arjun and his journey for almost a period of 10 years. The story begins with his struggles to get a job in the campus placements because of his poor secondary scores. The family debts is an add on to him. He fall in love with Shreya, who also loved him back but called it off.

Inspite of so much of pressures and failures from all side, he never gives up and keep on working hard for everything he gets into. He wasn’t able to impress the companies during the placements period but still landed with some of the world’s top IT companies.

Why did shreya do that?
How did he landed in world’s top IT sector?
Who persuades him?
How did he overcome that phase of hopelessness?
These are the very few questions which comes in our mind. And the answer for all of them with many others is “THE INELIGIBLE MILLIONAIRE”.

Saying something about the book without revealing is a tougher task here.
I loved the narration. It is a fast-paced read which keeps you hooked till the end, though I felt it got too slow at few places.

The cover is a perfect fit to the content. The language is easy to understand and conveys the story very well. Today’s youth can totally relate to the struggles and problems shown in the story and this can also help them understand how to motivate themselves to achieve the greater heights.

For some reason, I believe and very much into the habit of following the concept of “Taking the road less taken”. While mentioning the Inspirational stories or the articles, I do read them if I come across them by accident but I don’t consciously collect and read them. And I used to ponder since many of us would have read a success story normally related to poor people unfortunately not about the Middle-class people. But the Ineligible Millionaire is culminating slightly into an autobiography category.

This talks about the boy Arjun who has average academics and background. And how he faces the fierce grapples which come in the form of friendship, love and betrayals. That is the real struggle overcoming these sorts. Despite the facts of not getting a better job and repaying the debts, this articulates hitting off the roofs out of all the odds. What destiny awaits for him to unveil? In love and careerwise? Whether he settles for a job or some big deal?

What I liked the most is the author’s narration that made this book relatable and understandable. The plot and the characterisation have strong sensations that presented uniquely. The language used is crisp and keeps the reader to shift from the hopelessness to confidence and inspires to move forward. I highly recommend this.

The protagonist of the plot is Arjun. Arjun is studying engineering in third year. He belongs to a lower middle class family. Due to hurdles in his family life, he couldn’t score much in his boards exams. And due to those score, he is unable to qualify in a campus interview. He is attracted towards a girl Shreya, she is her classmate and daughter of a landlord. Shreya is among the most beautiful girl of the class. Arjun is the best programmer among the college and he won an inter college competition also. He has bigger dreams for his life. As the book title has “Millionaire” word in it, read the book to unfold how it’s related. Will Arjun be Millionaire?

I liked the book. Though the plot is quite routine, still it holds your attention. The language of the book is simple and easily understandable. Written in well descriptive way. Some parts of the story are very emotional and hear touching that has been described perfectly. Story moves at faster pace, I liked that. Really inspiring story. I recommend this to every students who have been struggling for success and job. I recommend this to every engineering students as they can relate many things. Overall good one and inspirational.

The plot narrates the ascend of an average student thorough trials and tribulations of love and carrier where only failures are his constant companion. Amateur Engineers passed out of Indian ' round the corner ' engineering colleges will be testimonial to get experience of 'deja-vu' while relating to the protagonist Arjun who is haggling hard to bargain for a good life and routine job; many professionals could relate to this with nostalgic bewilderment.
Making him grind out in cerebral pursuits with pittance of pay; welcome to the realms of exploitation where talent meets commerce in India.
Story takes a bend for better when he lands up in USA with carefree life, boundless dollars and nefarious boss. His exploits here are the best part of this manuscript. Ailing ageing parents make him return to India, where again he finds himself ensconced in in the pit of misery. But this time, he isn't the old immature vulnerable Arjun anymore. His relentless and iterative drive makes him emerge as a successful entrepreneur with bounties to boast off, acheived with a good heart rid off connivance.
Embellished in the plot is his affection towards Shreya. Does it end like ' they lived happily ever after' story? Please buy and read to find out more, and relish his journey.

The Ineligible Millionaire

It's a story of dreams, aspirations, heart breaks, failure and success. The protagonist here named as Arjun portrays his struggling journey since childhood due to his father's debt to find a job after his engineering degree. He loves his parents the most and was a man of principles and morals. But he always got rejected and cheated by everyone. His best friend Raj is the one who supported him throughout and his love Shreya whom he admire the most had left him in the mid of his life without any explanation.

The story is well written and the language is easy to understand. Though the story shows the journey of how he became a millionaire from a poor guy, one will no feel bored while reading it. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. It showed very best of friendship and support of families. And also showed how one misunderstanding can break apart people's life entirely. A very talented struggling man to a successful person has very well depicted in the story. One should definitely read it for motivational purposes and for a change too. The climax was unpredictable and shocking though. I felt lack of romance and characterization.

It's a quick and motivational read.
So the story is based on 10 years of Arjun's life, how hard he struggles for job and every odds and his strength to never give up but works harder on it.
📚
Author has perfectly narrated the character Arjun with so much of motivation and energy. Lesson I learned after reading Arjun is, 'Self-motivation is the basics to overcome every single odds in life. If you're positively self-motivated then no one can break you down neither thoughts to give up.' Whereas I was not much impressed with Shreya character on whom Arjun had a crush.
📚
Overall I liked the story, most importantly it was related to computer programmings which got me to read more and more.
(Ha!!! Ha!!! Only engineers can feel the pain and happiness of engineers😉).
📚
Liked the flow of story. Easy and quick read also easier to understand.
But I felt some session of story was stretched overall it's a good read.
📚
Surely after reading this book demoralize engineers can get motivated with Arjun's story.

Arjun trying to overcome from all thr problem he have by working hard toward goal. the story is inspiring for readers. The characters are well developed and described. Every character has it's own background and vital role to play.

The plot of the story is well mentained. At some point I felt the story is little bit dragged which can be cut down.

The story is about a boy named Arjun, from a lower middle class family with uncertain financial conditions. He tries hard to overcome all the problems and achieve his goals. It’s an inspirational read for everyone and makes us realize how quick we give up to small problems instead of facing them and reaching our goals.
Arjun gets into a underpaying job out of necessity, soon to incurs debts of his own. Read this inspiration piece to know about his journey & what life had planned for him.
The plot has a good flow & keeps the reader in track. There are few portions which felt dragged unnecessarily, which could have been avoided for good.
The characters in the story were equally important to the main character. The story gives an inspiring lesson to the readers. The story is on whole relatable read & is fast paced

Good read with positive aspects

A decade long story of a middle class boy Arjun who in spite of being a top coder in his college, isn't eligible to sit in Campus placements as his 10th and 12th scores were below 60 %. The book takes us on his journey where how he after working hard for years, succeeds in getting a high paying job and fulfills his dreams and thus becomes a millionaire. It is a rags to riches story, where we as a reader gets to learn a lot.

There were some places where the story seems to drag a bit and some extra info could have been avoided. But overall the story motivated me and was relatable at many levels. A little better writing could beautify this book more and makes it more enjoyable to read. An overall good attempt.

The Ineligible Millionaire by Tarun Varshney is a story about Arjun who struggles to get a job because of his poor academics. On top of this he finds out that his father is in debt.
With one hope, his love - Shreya, and one support, his friend - Raj, he gets roped into underpaying or downright unfair programming jobs, yet out of necessity, soon incurs debts of his own. Follow Arjun on his journey and find out what life has in store for him.

Not getting placed in college is a very common thing and this leads to depression. Arjun is facing the same. Arjun's character can be quite relatable for some of us. The writing style is pretty easy to read. The title and cover do justice to the book.

I would recommend it.

The story revolves around a boy named Arjun who is finding it difficult to get a job because of his poor academic result in the school level. To add to his problems are the debts that his father has incurred over a long time.
With these problems at hand, Arjun starts doing underpaid jobs and soon incurs debts of his own. With nothing more to lose, Arjun decides to leave his parents alone and goes in search of earning money. The story then spans over his 10 year long journey of finding and fulfilling his dreams.
Catching and relatable storyline, easy and understandable writing and strong characters makes this book a worthwhile read.

All I can say about this book is - it's really inspiring. An engineering student whose financial condition is not that much good is struggling to get a job because of his poor grades. Although he has some good abilities, no one is eager to give him a job. The story is about his life's ups and downs. And how finally he overcomes the difficulties. I must say that the story is relatable. The narration is relly good. The language is simple.
A must read book.

I think this is enough to talk about my review.
Loved the way it's written. Enjoyed the way story goes. The storytelling is interesting.
But the best part is characterization which I liked the most about it. The writing is simple but that makes it more and more interesting to read and complete in 3-4 sittings max. Enjoyed a lot.

The story to success and the romance, i am not a complete romance buff but i do enjoy romance sometimes (i am not heartless). I enjoyed some part of it and some part would be good for others who really loved romance.
