Written by the current richest pastor in the world as of this date. A billionaire according to Forbes. This book covers many topics in respect to the Christian faith, such as: creation, salvation, study of the Word of God, prayer, forgiveness, fasting, tithes and offerings and the Holy Spirit and His baptism, fruits and gifts.

I found the four chapters in this book on the Holy Spirit was a rehash of his other book he wrote and I read on the Holy Spirit found here Edir Macedo, The Holy Spirit. My opinion in respect to his interpretation of the gift of prophesy and women prophesying in the church still stands. I think it is a good thing that he is warning the church of errors in the church in respect to this gift, but I don't think we need to throw the baby out with the bath water.

Good teaching throughout all this book; however, the title of the book was In the footsteps of Jesus and I just didn't see how this related to the content of the book. The book was more on different topics covered in the Bible. The chapter on tithes and offerings was excellent.

This is a great book for anyone new to the faith/born again, Macedo outlines and explains the main principles underpinning practising christianity such as Fasting, Baptism in Water/Holy Spirit, Forgiveness, Submission, Tithes and Offerings and Prayer. It's heavily decorated with bible verses throughout to meditate on and study further.

I gave it 3.5 stars instead of 5 because I did feel like there were certain points in the book where the authors opinion took centre stage over God's word. Also, I do wish he would have dedicated chapters to other important topics such as marriage, repentance and maintaining a relationship with god even when things go wrong. Otherwise, great book that I really enjoyed and would recommend to others.

É a segunda vez que leio. Como o título transparece, esse livro é para todos aqueles que queiram andar nos passos de Jesus. Traz ensinamentos sobre a oração, o jejum, o batismo nas águas, o batismo no Espírito Santo, o fruto e os dons do Espírito Santo (com as diferenças entre eles), entre outros. Um dos capítulos de que mais gostei foi o capítulo sobre a discrição. Em tempos de exposição excessiva de nós mesmos e dos outros, resgatar essa virtude é essencial para quem é ou quer se tornar cristão.
