About the author

Oliver Napoleon Hill was an American self-help author and conman. He is best known for his book Think and Grow Rich (1937), which is among the best-selling self-help books of all time. Hill's works insisted that fervid expectations are essential to improving one's life. Most of his books were promoted as expounding principles to achieve "success".
Hill is a controversial figure. Accused of fraud, modern historians also doubt many of his claims, such as that he met Andrew Carnegie and that he was an attorney.

A little jewel! This book is a compilation of some Napoleon Hill's early work and expose in a very dynamic and effective way very clear steps to be applied in order to reach success in any endeavour. It's really interesting because a difference from other works the emphasis is not in the pursue of money but more in the search of understanding of what we really want, what should we do to obtain it and what mistakes and negative behaviour we should look for in ourselves so we can improve and reach our goals. This is an easy read, but, more than that should be re-read often.

Napoleon Hill is famous for his classic "Think and Grow Rich". I bought that book quite a few years back, but has yet the chance to read through to the first ten pages. With the title of it, I had formed a biased image of thinking that Napoleon Hill is just about money and financial success. How wrong I was!

I count it a blessing to have come across "Success", a mini-book which is like a summary of Napolean's "Laws of Success" series. It is such an amazing read! Simple, clear and strong are his messages and key ideas for having success in our lives and various endeavours. His emphasis on the concept that success cannot come from nothing - it has to be the act of wholeheartedly rendering great service to benefit other people and world, is such an important reminder of how we can focus our lives and our missions.

There are so many more valuable ideas this book has to offer. Read it for yourself, and then, live it.

Success: Discovering the Path to Riches is a dense book featuring some of the author's best teachings. These chapters are full of book excerpts, motivational stories, inspiring quotes and encouragement from many of Hill’s best-selling books.

This is my favorite self-development book of the year. I intend to read it again, make notes, highlight favorites sections, meditate and apply the recommendations and empowering affirmations. I highly recommend this book for personal and professional development.
