As someone who is new to building a volunteer grant team within a community-based organization, this resource is so helpful in providing a baseline understanding and best practices.
It provides a helpful model for examining the problem, what change is possible, and how the organizaton intends to produce the desired change.
The book guides you through 8 sections, each covering a separate part of the overall proposal. It offers guidance on both what to do, and what to avoid. At the end of each section, there is also a checklist for easy reference.
Thorough and well organized, but examples got a bit dense at times and some layout glitches (missing line of text, etc.) Took a dry topic and made it less so.
