Eleanor’s spirit is doing a lot of griping in Quinn’s funeral home. She was the wife of a member of the Mafia who was murdered several years prior and now she wants something from Quinn. Her best friend nicknamed her “Mafia magnet” since this is the second spirit to contact her who is connected to the mob. She knows she is destined to a life of answering their ghostly requests but she wonders if all the spirits that contact her will always be on the wrong side of the law. Once again, Quinn must put her friends in danger to help her decipher the clues Eleanor’s spirit has communicated to them. It leads them to the now defunct, dark, and foreboding subway tunnels beneath the city where they discover they’re not the only one’s searching for whatever Eleanor has hidden. There’s a war going on in the tunnels and they can’t tell who’s winning—the ghosts or the Mafia. What will happen if the war in the tunnel keeps them from finding the answers to Eleanor’s clues? Will the price they have to pay for being in the middle of it be too much for Quinn to handle?
In Book 3 Quinn is haunted by a "customer' of her funeral parlor, who is connected to the Mafia again. All of Quinn's friends help her solve yet another mystery. Of course a few of the living members of the Mafia show up just to make things interesting. I thought the writing good and the plot just sucked me in. I liked the story and would read the next book to see what other trouble finds Quinn.
kindle unlimited {well 1 and 3 are, not 2, saw somewhere where signing up for her email gets that one free but looked and don't have it}, several issues/discrepancies in the story, and not having read #2 bit odd to see rehash of #1 and #2 uhm rehashed in #3, and way too much detail to be about a different story. Just a bit too much of that and parts that dragged the story some, so again 4 isn't bad but it's not a 5.

You're Not Alone (Whispers Book 1) Bad Man, Bad Ghost (Whispers Book 2) Dirty Wrong (Whispers Book 3) Whispers book 4 coming soon
Dead and living mobsters are making life difficult. So many secrets and being thrust into the middle of a mob war. It is almost to much for a woman to handle.
What a great story. Quinn is again being contacted by the dead who want her to fix things for them. Despite having no choice in whether she has to help; she tries really hard, along with her friends, to help solve the puzzles presented to her by the spirit. Both Quinn and Chaz had "dirty wrongs" done to them and they managed to move forward despite the pain. The story was interesting and fun. The ever present humor bantered about between the friends made the story even more enjoyable. I am looking forward to reading the next book and continuing to enjoy the adventures. Wondering what kind of ghost will arrive in the next book to bother Quinn and the gang. I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
