Fantastic book that shows the value of learning from the monastics. JK Jones laser focuses on some of the best contributions from the monastic literature. We need to learn, taste, and live out these contributions.

I got to be in class under J.K. for a semester and I never thought going into it I would be interested in Monks. Dr. J.K. does a great job of talking about the good things the Monks have done but also does not hold back in calling them out for the things they did wrong.
