Frustrating slow burn but quick to the end!!

This is the third book in the Enchanted Chaos series. It’s a slow burn paranormal RH. It has loads of flirting but not much else as it’s a YA novel. Whilst it’s a novel it is on the shorter side there is a lot happening, so many twists are unveiled but then the next thing you know it’s the end of the book. I like the story I think the characters, whilst can be frustrating at times, are great. The one thing that bugs me though is that they are all linked and most of the time can feel each other’s emotions and yet continue to keep thing from each other. “Man I know what you’re feeling it would be less painful for everyone if you stop omitting stuff!” My suggestion would be to wait for more of the series to be release and read them all together.

It hurts me to rate this book at a 3 but I just can’t give it any more because overall it felt like nothing happened. Yes, we did get some more information about some of the characters but for it being book 3 I shouldn’t feel so unfulfilled about who the characters really are. I honestly feel like I don’t know them. I feel just as confused about the who and what as I was when starting book 1. Everything is a secret and nothing can be fully explained because....we just because.
Also, I’m confused if the author is going to make this into an RH or not. Book one make it appear that no it would not be an RH but then some things changed and clarification has not been made...it’s fristrating.

Yes, I’ll continue to read the series because under it all I do enjoy and I am interested in the storyline. It’s he lack of progress that’s bothersome.

I have to say I’m disappointed. We’re already into book 3 and NOTHING is happening. All it’s doing is confusing me more and more. We should have gotten more answers by now we should have some sort of battle by now. And where the hell are the parents they’re always gone off looking for answers when they should be around more. The relationship between all of them is getting a little crazy sky and fosters relationship hasn’t moved forward AT ALL. She seems to be flirting more with his twin East and spending more time with him than with foster. So that’s disappointing his better not be a reverse harem novel. And I hope there’s only one more book I’m actually just getting bored!

For those of you asking, yeah this one delves into the reverse-harem direction. Which is something I really don't like. Also nothing really happens in this book, everything just hangs in the air.

Loved this

I love this author. This book kept me hooked from the first page to the last. I can’t wait for the next book.

So, I think this book may have false started a little bit. The author had originally planned to release in November, I think, after having personal delays. Which is fine, life happens. I would rather wait for a book to be amazing than have an author rush and get mediocre. I don’t know if that maybe happened in this case? The book then released in December but disappeared from availability within weeks. It then showed up again as revised, but the author is also releasing a traditional romance with the same characters, by the same name?Which is super confusing, and a little misleading, I feel. From what I understand of her catalog, that’s pretty par for the course. I feel bad for her characters a little, that she can’t just let them have their story. If the muse says they go traditional romance, then run with it. If the muse says RH, that’s cool too, but to have every story be both ways sort of feels disjointed, like she can’t make up her mind or commit to the story, and I think this story suffered for it.

Whether it matters or not, I didn’t read this book until it was re-released as revised.

Like the second book, the third instalment jumps straight in. I really, really liked the first two books in this series, but I struggled with this one a bit. Maybe it’s because I really liked the first two books so much that I feel much more let down by this book. This book really focuses on Foster, Sky, and East, though we do see glimpses of Porter, but not much else in the way of the other brothers. By book 3, I would normally like to see the MC building more relationships than Sky has with the brothers at this point, even if it were just as friends. I know it’s described as slow burn, and adding to a harem over time is perfectly fine, but this doesn’t really even feel like slow burn at this point. It seems stalled. This book also has multiple POV’s, which I normally quite like, but it really bounced around a lot. It just felt confusing, and even though it’s over 200 pages, it also felt rushed because you don’t ever feel like you’re getting a whole view. All in, the story was okay. I was torn between three stars and four, but the deciding factor for me is how I view the series now. Four stars, for me, means better than alright, and there’s no way I would DNF the series. At this point I’m three books in, but if this story had been written as a first book, I likely wouldn’t continue. However, I like these characters. After three books, I’m still invested in their story. So, I’m going to give it one more book, and we’ll see how it goes. I’m hoping this is just a blip and the next book brings it back. I don’t want to DNF the series, but at the same time, I won’t force myself through it for the sake of it.

Short, rushed

I just paid 5$ for 1 chapter of a normal sized book.
I feel cheated and it is not only 1 single short chapter, it is also written in a rush and not edited.
The story could be nice, but I feel like we've reached less than 30% of it and it already is around 15$ in total.
This author is now in my blacklist. Because there's an etical part in the business of writing and selling books, and she is exploiting the addictive level of serialized stories in the teenagers market. It feels pretty evil to me.

I am honestly done with this series. I know another book is coming out but I just can't commit to this anymore. Sky can just not mature. Her character is weak. She needs constant self assurance that she is pretty. Every single page. Every single page one of the brothers is telling her that she is pretty. It gets to the point that this book is just annoying and weak. You can't even follow the attempted story line because all you read is that the brothers keep telling her she is strong and pretty but she has done nothing to prove she is strong. Her character lacks complete development. Toss in all of these brothers that want her and her utter confusion. We finally get some answers about two of the brothers but even that is left vague. This is just a non-descriptive and frustrating read. Its a bunch of fluff and filler and nothing more.

I liked this book. I was looking forward to finding new things and for the story to progress. But unfortunately it didn't happen like I hoped. We do find out some things but everybody is keeping secrets and they speak half truths.
And I don't think the author has thought about this series in a long time. Maybe she has abandoned it.
I hope she comes back to it and gives us all the answers we need. Also on the relationship front I am still unclear if this will be a true RH or not. Nothing major happens. There are just hints for things to come. And with supposedly only one more book in the series there is no way all the threads can be solved.

Stop!!!!!

Author seriously needs to stop writing new series until she can finish some of her old ones and actually release real length books and not these 1 hour novellas. I’m beginning to seriously wonder if something is wrong with Sorenson because she seems completely and utterly unable to commit to the completion of a series. For going gods sake stop writing until you can commit to a full length novel and completing an already started series. We are tired of these glorified outlines and rough drafts that are being passed off as books.

Deeply confused and HIGHLY annoyed! That's how I feel after finishing this book, it also should be said that my masochistic tendencies are back! That must be the reason why I keep coming back to and author that never conclude a series and just left you with all the loose ends and no idea of how it'll end! I seriously love the worlds she create, that's why I really dom get why she always left the stories unfinished, this is the third series where I've seen her do the same! Jessica really should be ashamed over this, now I'm afraid of picking up another one of her books!

Read in 1 sitting - 4 stars. While this book was really good and we got to see and feel more about the brothers I found I didn’t like the multiple points of view and narrators. The story’s progression was quick and I loved where it took us but was then bummed at the end where it’s left us till the next book. Especially having read all 3 of this series over 2 days (Thank you kindle unlimited). Hopefully the next one won’t take too long to release. I need more Sky and the boys.

DNF at...I can't even remember

It went the same way as the first two books. Very blah, very YA. So I decided just to DNF and move on.

Short

I hated paying $5 for this book because it was a little over 160 pages. I have no clue why it was not included with KU . I wouldn't have bought the book, but I wanted to know what happened next. Yes, I enjoyed the book and it was great. There were some questions answered and I believe everyone is starting to realize they are having feelings toward sky or she is too, even though they are confused and trying not to hurt anyone. Unfortunately, I think this book is helpful to the continuation of the series, but the price makes it hard to want to purchase. Did I like the book? Am I glad I read it? Yes! But can I recommend spending $5 for that? Well, I leave it up to you whether or not you are truly interested in this series. Maybe the next book will include some of the material from this one.

Hmmmm

OK so this is a good series and is really well written but after three books can’t we just put it to bed. I mean I’m all for trilogies and I’ll even give you four books but how many books is this going to be? I’m curious how the series ends but the problem is I’m not sure it ever will. Like I said normally I’ll give a series 3 or four books but after that you need to move on to different characters. I love series that each book has different main characters. But again with this when we are left with questions hardly any answers. I’m not sure if I’m going to continue this series I’m curious but I’m just like it’s time to put it to bed it’s time for the series to be over in a new one started.

Intense

This series is quite intense! I enjoyed the first 2 books. There are a few revelations in this book. I really end up disliking Sky’s so called “parents”. At least, she finds they weren’t her real parents. I feel for Sky. I want to really see her and Foster’s relationship grow. I love all the brothers, but he seems the right fit for Sky. They both grew up lonely and unable to connect with someone else. It seems the brothers feel the same way, but the connection tether they had to do to protect her, seems to be igniting some sexual tension between all of them. I can’t wait to see what happens.

Well gosh darn it! Prior to Enchanted Chaos, it was pretty obvious that the brothers were heading towards a love interest with Sky, even though she was best suited to Foster.. In this book it was just a little bit more apparent just how hard they were falling... every little lingering look, every feeling transferred through the link.. it was so obvious yet she is oblivious.. I think my heart broke for Foster yet rejoiced for every feeling she had for the others.

As you can tell I did get slightly caught up with the building relationships..but there was more to the story.. more progress toward the God of Darkness? and origins of Sky and a little more revealed about the brothers.

Great story but very difficult for a grammar nazi like me

There are so many that claim to be USA Today's best seller yet books I've purchased or read via Kindle unlimited end up having SO many grammatical errors, missing words, incorrect spellings, run-on, etc.

This book would be a bit better if whomever your editor is finds a new career or does a better job. Don't just use office's spell check. Comb through and catch the errors. That's not hard to do. You learned in elementary.

I hate leaving bad reviews. I don't like leaving reviews at all because I can never out my feelings of the book down properly. This time, it's quite easy to buy I dislike it all the same.

Decent series BUT....

This book was so disappointing. Ive been looking forward to this one for months, and then come to find out its a total of 10 chapters, and the first 5 are a recap of the ending from book 2. I feel like this author could have just waited till these five chapters were done then added them to book 2. Also it just feels like this book was hurriedly written. Overall, really frustrating. If the next book is the same way ill stop reading this series all together. Thank goodness for kindle unlimited because if I had to wait for this book to release, paid 3.99 for it only to find out its basically 5 chapters id be very POed.

Not so good (spoiler)

First two books were great but book 3 wasn’t so good, I don’t like what is going on with the link between brothers and Sky, if this book is becoming a weird harem type of book I would like to know now... so I don’t waste money in it... the book was really slow and to be honest boring. I feel like this didn’t bring much to the story and was just pointless, question are still unanswered and just know everybody seems to be in love with her when honestly I was happy for Foster but now I don’t even know if I like Sky like in the first 2 books

How complicate the story has become. And I thought it was only 3 books in this series, which is too bad...because I can't wait until the next book. A very good blend of characters.

While you want so bad for Sky and Foster to be together with their complementary powers, and their story...this book makes things so hard as the relationship builds with Eastion and the alteration of the link.

Each one of the brothers have such an unusual quality, but at the same time dark secrets. Can't wait for the conclusion of this series

Lots of secrets

I’m a bit confused. There is a lot going on and I’m not sure what’s happening. All of the secrets and unsaid things are really confusing me. As far as I can tell there are a whole lot of broody brothers with the hots for the same clueless girl. I’m still interested but if it gets more complicated I’m out.
