Well, I am obviously the author and I'm putting this up because I don't want the title to have a blank. (And I'm waiting for others to take up the mantle.) But to be objective, this book has some lively prose and memorable--if not weird--characters. It is quirky, if you like quirk. My favorite writers are Joyce, Grass, Nabokov and García Márquez. Am reading a lot of Faulkner right now. Am interested in creative form--you know, a bit free-wheeling on the narrative, but I do think these stories are accessible. Finally, I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because only a Faulkner deserves the highest rating. Thanks for reading.
