Love is a beautiful and powerful thing to experience in life and when that love is given to the right person it can make you feel as if nothing else in the world matters. Shamari thought she had that kind of love for the only man she’s ever given her heart to, but he’s proven time and time again that the love they share comes second because of his selfish ways.
She was everything he needed and more, she was his ride or die, the Bonnie to his Clyde, and the Beyoncé to his Jay-z. But just like most men he is too blind to see all that she is to him and the many sacrifices she’s made because of the love she has for him.
After Sheduer does the unthinkable Shamari packs her bags and never looks back, leaving Sheduer, and the love they share behind once and for all. But as that old saying goes, if it’s yours let it go, if it was meant to be it’ll come back. A heartbreaking tragedy happens, which causes her to come face to face with the man she once loved, as well as revealing a secret she’s withheld for years during their time apart.
Sheduer is arrogant, handsome, thuggish, and a boss in his own right; most importantly he’s in love with his long time sweetheart Shamari. However, he can’t seem to get it together long enough to be the man she needs him to be, as well as giving her the love and respect she deserves. Not willing to give up on all of the love they shared, as well as the memories they’ve created together over the years, he vows to win her heart back and be a better man than he was to her in the past.
With all of the damage that has been done to her heart will Shamari give Sheduer a chance to prove that their love is meant to be? Will she move on from it all continuing to leave what they shared in the past? After all their love is meant to be or is it?
Shamari allowed Shadeur to get away with so much. Her breaking point was a baby. I suspected she’d have his child too and I’m glad she stayed away for a little no time to get herself together. Chelsi put the C in crazy. Even without the whole Chelsi situation Shamari should have left him. I guess after 8 years he learned his lesson but he would have had to watch me and the next man raise his seed and coparent. If only the Elijah wasn’t so obsessive. I enjoyed this book!
Glad I didn’t listen to the reviews. I mean I get she had to go through a whole lot! However everything isn’t always what it seems. Book well written, however I would have preferred to hear about their lives apart and finding each other again more than the 75% dedicated to his shit. Great story.
Wow what a ride ..I feel for my Girl ...this crazy bee just stole her life ..stole her ring don't omg what a STORYLINE...imaginative and entertaining...dysfunctional azz THOT nigga got what he deserved I still don't live Stu.....good read
There was so much craziness going on in this book. I couldn’t believe the lengths Chelsi/Ashleigh went through to get Shueder. I thought Shueder would never grow yo. So very selfish. I enjoyed reading this drama filled book.
Boring, that's all… From jump this was rocky with their relationship and Sheduer keeps pushing in the wrong direction. We don't see the relationship develop so there's really no reason to care if the two stay together.
