What’s worse than a sadistic werewolf? A fae queen hellbent on revenge.
Two months after meeting my mates, we’ve settled into a semi-comfortable life. Yet as the new alpha of the Six Rivers pack, it falls to me to make peace with the fae and other supernatural beings surrounding Heartland Forest.
But not everyone wants peace.
When a swinger party turns into a bloodbath, all evidence points to a member of my own pack. Hungry for vengeance, Fae Queen Titania is determined to avenge the death of her twenty-two subjects killed in the massacre. But I’m not convinced.
None of my wolves are capable of that kind of carnage. Are they?
War is brewing, with the fae queen demanding a life for a life. With my mates and my pack in danger, time is running out. Can I uncover who is behind the murders before someone I love becomes the next victim?
This is a full-length reverse harem novel packed with action, violence, and sexytimes aplenty. Suitable for readers 18+

I enjoyed the book but there are some world issues
The point of a book is to take the reader on an enjoyable adventure and the author was successful in this respect. For that I gave her five stars.
However, I would hope the author would take into greater consideration her world facts and whether they work together. In the first book, Scar was able to take down 7 werewolves juiced up on their version of steroids from eating humans, but she has to team up with 3 other wolves to take down one Fae in book 2? If the Fae are so strong that 4 wolves barely survive fighting one of them AND the wolves have a really low (if not non-existent) birth rate AND the Fae have a 10 to 1 ratio to wolves, then why do they Fae even have a treaty with the wolves? All they need to do is bide their time for the wolves to die off.
The Fae may care about witches and mages since, apparently, they can freeze a group of them but the strength balance between the wolves and Fae seem too disproportionate for them to be considered a threat or one of the key powers in the world.
But as that is me getting hung up on facts and reviews are more about whether I enjoyed the story. I didn't anything for the inconsistency.
This book was worth the wait! I read the whole thing in one sitting. I didn't want to put it down. I hope to see more from this wonderful world. I'm not ready to leave it just yet.
Worldbuilding was good, with clear and detailed scenes and environments. I would have liked to learn more about the state of the world though, is the whole world ravaged by earthquakes, are there many supernatural groups? While the NALC is mentioned, what is it exactly (except for the bogeyman it seems)? Why haven't they even inquired in what was happening in book 1 or book 2?
Character development was decent. This book takes place a few weeks after the first and poor Lance is still (officially) unmated. Scarlet sleeps with his brothers, but not with him, I really feel for the guy :( It really made me not like her as much as I did before. Of course, this whole situation is something she needed to get used to, not saying that, but it felt like she wasn't putting in any (or at least enough) effort to get to know them or let them in. As this instalment is centred around the fae, we get to know Mack a bit more (unfortunately, that also means his mom and sister... talk about a family with issues). I did, however, miss more background from the guys, we really still only have superficial information about them.
Pacing and flow were good. I pretty much read this in one go again (though it wasn't as late, yay). Good balance between conversation and all the action.
The book itself was well written and there were no (noticeable) errors. And yes, there is sex described in this instalment (if that is important to you).
I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book and while I liked and enjoyed it, there were parts that were I felt were lacking a bit. Still, I enjoyed it, and that is what matters most :)
When you start this book have time to read non-stop, because Filthy Fae is nothing but action and suspense from the first page to the last (and some HOT sexy times)! I could not put it down!
Filthy Fae begins with Scarlet trying to balance her Alpha duties, job and mates. Soon she is dealing with an attack from an unknown creature, murders that may be tied to members of her pack and the threat of a war with the Fae; this girl cannot catch a break!
But despite the threats that are coming from every direction she has Aaron (I love Aaron!), Lance, Darrel and Mack (sigh, I love him too) backing her (lucky wolf!). She only has to decide if she wants to complete the mate bond with Lance and figure out what her real feelings are for Mack. Surely she can make those decisions while she tries to prevent a war and save her pack, right?!
If you loved Dirty Alphas like I did, you will not be disappointed with Filthy Fae. This book has heart and is so much fun to read, I can't wait til the next book, because the ending...
I really didnt enjoy this book. Scarlett- dont like her at all , dont like how she favours some of her mates but treats lance like shit. He has to listen to her having sex with her other mates whilst left in the cold n does little to try and get to know him.
Shes a spoilt, indulged bitch in this book
And then we're supposed to believe shes the alpha of the pack yet still works full time running the apts n doing repairs? When she got time to go work whilst running her pack ?
Oh n lets not forget shes mated to 3 alphas with their own packs but with her they all become submissive? Even lance. wheres the alpha wolves there? They just got on my last nerves especially Darrell
And then theres her fae prince lover. Who has been n madly in love with her for years, sigh
And this is a persistent problem with rh books, sometimes they're just too implausible, too many holes in the plot but hey they're having tons of sex so that's ok right?
45% I'm so ready to dnf with this mediocre, predictable meh book. But I will try n read on a bit more. Sigh
I love these books!! I read both within 24 hours because I was so hooked on the story and I was fully immersed in to the wonderfully, fantastic fantasy world with Scarlet and her guys. The character building was brilliant, you could really imagine and get a real feel for the characters from their descriptions and their personalities which jumped right off the page putting you right there in the story with them. The storyline was amazing, so much mystery and romance it had me laughing out loud and gripping the edge of my seat waiting for the next chapter and trying to figure out the mystery of 'who did it'. I’d really recommend these books to anyone who loves fantasy – the brilliant mix of all the different supernatural races really made it unique and awesome. Well I’d recommend this book to anyone who loves this genre it was great! Definitely couldn’t get enough!
Wow another amazing book that I thoroughly enjoyed, our crazy heroine is back and has the Spring Queen gunning for her and particularly Zane (Scarlets ex) over the death of 22 people mostly of who were fae. Now Scarlet, Mack and her Mates must discover a way to clear his name, stop a war between the wolves and the fae, oh and attempt to survive being chased by a Incubus demon who is being controlled by a necromancer. Just another crazy day in the life of the Alpha. This book contains love, death, betrayal, excitement, raunchy scenes that make you combust. Recommended
The suspense in this book is nuts!! I was on the edge of my seat trying to figure out who did it. Usually I can guess right away but this one had me going back and forth through the whole thing.
I don’t even know if the author intentionally wrote this story to be a “who done it”, but it is.
You get everything you could want in this book.. suspense, hot sexy alphas, steamy Fae, shifters.. did I mention sex.. there’s lots of that too!
Obviously I’m telling you to read this book.. but make sure you read book one Dirty Alphas first!
Filthy Fae picks up 1-2 months after Dirty Alpha. Scarlet is in over her head trying to keep up with her new alpha duties, manager/maintenance job at the apartment complex, and juggling 3 Alphas and a fae. Unfortunately, she is soon caught up trying to prevent a far war. This book is pedal to the metal the whole way through. Such a great sequel to Dirty Alpha. The book ends on a HEAFN, so hopefully that means there is a third in the works???? Please????:)
Filthy Fae continues where the story left off, where Scarlet is just adjusting to being the new alpha of the Six Rivers Pack, maintaining her job at the apartment while also adjusting to having 3 mates and a possible Fae one. Not only that, she has to brace herself for an impending war with the Fae Queen after a suspicious attack on some of her constituents that leads to Scarlet group as the perpetrator. This book is action packed, with liberal amount of suspense and of course, steamy hot times. A perfect sequel to the first book and I’m hoping that there will be a third one please!
Filthy Fae is such a good read filled with plenty of mystery, suspense, drama, action and plenty of hot and steamy goodness. Scarlett, Mack and the Knight brothers are all moving forward in their relationship with Scar. They are all moving at different pace according to what is needed between the characters, nothing is rushed or forced and as with each relationship there will be some problems along the way. I hope for a book 3 as Im enjoying these characters and what they get up to.
This book was just as amazing as the first scarlet and her mates and let’s not forget Mack the love of her life proved they belonged together while stopping a war and banishing a demon what more could you want in a second book and just hoping and praying that we are going to see more of scarlet, her mates and the six rivers pack. You would not be disappointed with this book.
A duet ending that ties up loose ends and offers a HEA of the best kind. For a woman who had to hide who and what she was for a long time, coming to terms with being alpha - along with having three true mates, is a challenge, one she is up to facing. Plus there is the little fact that she is still in love with a fae... the sworn enemies of all werewolf kind. Complicated?
This book had a lot of plots & plans but it was a very good book.
Scarlett & crew are pulled into an almost war with The Fae because of plotting & plans of The Queen of Fae & her daughter Princess Mab to kill each other.
I also almost wish there was another book in this series about how Scarlett & her men actually make it work. Because that most likely would be a very good book too.
Been lucking out with great reads lately. Love this series! It’s so hot and has a great storyline. Really like Mack and do glad he is part of her harem even though he is not her mate. Lots of twists in this one and it was surprising to see who was the conspirator. The only thing I am not a fan of is ZeeZee and Zane but I guess they add to the story with their crazy.
Scarlet and her guys are back in action. Scarlet has to figure out a “who done it” to save her pack from going to war with the Fae and figure out her relationships with her guys too. I really like Scarlet and this story is fast paced and full of action and steaminess. After all the action, the resolution to the mystery was a little anticlimactic, but I love the ending relationship-wise :)
I loved this book. This is book 2 and starts off right where book 1 leaves off. I kind of hope there will be another book. I absolutely love Scar. Plus Mack is my favorite. Ok I actually want all 4. Great story line. Over all a enjoyable read. Has everything I want to read in a book. This is a definite must read.
I thought this book was really good. I was thoroughly captivated through the whole thing. I didn't want to stop reading. Scarlet and mates have alot to handle in this book. She also makes a lot of progress with her mates and accepting that they are hers. Queen Titania is out to get the wolves land and will use anything access she can to do that.
What a twisted story! My only complaint is that I had a bit of a problem remembering who some of the characters were because I had read the first book several weeks before this one was released. My recommendation: read the books in consecutive order for a great reading experience!
I liked this a lot. Scarlet still annoyed me some but the guys made up for it. The ending was really satisfying. I actually thought this was supposed to be a trilogy but that ending wrapped everything up. I can't really see a need for more books in the series after that.
Four stars for an entertaining read with a very satisfying ending.
Book one was good but book 2 knocked it out of the park! I truly enjoy this series and it's characters! We all have crazy somewhere in our family and it's fun reading about it. Can't wait for what comes next.
Filthy Fae (Dirty Alphas #2) is pure love and I absolutely love it. This is my favourite reverse harem fantasy romance series. A beautiful fantasy world with oodles of supernaturals, mystery, suspense, & twists all entangled together to create a magical cosmos.
I really enjoyed this book, & recommend you read this series!
I enjoyed book one and continue to read book to on sure how it was going to go but was overall happy with how it continued. I’m looking forward to book3.
This is a fun and adventurous read and I look forward to at least one more book in this world. It is a little heavier on the heat side than the last book. Also I can’t believe zeezee her sister or Mack’s mother but wow....
I enjoyed this book just not as well as the first book in the series. I am slightly disappointed but in the end it was entertaining so I gave it four stars. If the series continues I am on the fence about purchasing the next installation.
Great ending! This two book series is really a world within itself! Now alpha, Scarlett, now has to take care of a rampant demon! Find it and neutralize it! The intrigue is finding out who is controlling said demon!! Great developed world!
I really enjoyed this book and loved the characters and how they came together. I am glad that everything worked out for them and Scarlett was able to have her best friend Mack the fae prince.
I loved this duet. The ending is amazing. So much but not enough happens. I wish we could have more of Mack’s brothers. The ending is the best. Hope these two authors make another book baby.
