A gulf has formed between the people of America, its States no longer United.
The nation has never been so divided. Political parties have exchanged adversarial ideology for rabid dogma. The Supreme Court ruled that Business was an entity and had rights, chief among them being the right to donate undisclosed amounts of money to the election campaign process. Racial hatreds bloomed in bloody blossoms colored black, yellow, white and brown. Religions taught hatred and intolerance instead of love and peace. People didn't talk over fences, they screamed across battle lines. When words don't hurt enough, throw rocks!
If you haven't had a chance to read the first two books in the Doomsday series, if you haven't been introduced to the amazing cast of characters, then there's a good chance that there will be spoilers coming. Please go back and read Apocalypse and Haven! You won't regret it, I promise.
Following the New Year's Eve attacks, the mood in the cities was fear mixed with an equal amount of desperation. The D.C. Metroplex hadn't recovered from the cyber attacks crippling transportation in and out of the district. No planes, trains or automobiles were getting through. An EMP attack blacked out a large part of the MidAtlantic power grid. Times Square exploded with dirty bombs, spreading radiological poison through New York City. An airliner lost power and crashed into the Gulf off Mobile, Alabama. In the wake of the mix of terror attacks, riots broke out, angry crowds took to the streets and cities burned.
Panicked drivers made a run on service stations to fill their cars and stations quickly emptied their inventories. Grocery and department stores couldn't get resupplied with their trucks stuck in statewide traffic jams. Fear and desperation turned to anger and resentment, while the cities burned.
Under the anarchy, beneath the roiling surface of the riots and violence, greed and avarice stirred the pot, profiting from the turmoil. Like spiders spinning webs of gold, they gathered currencies, trading on a destabilized dollar. Other moguls traded in fear and terror to tear down the government of the U.S., to rebuild the country in their own image. Shadow governments coming out of the dark with an agenda.
A few foresighted individuals had planned for a situation like this and had supplies to survive the coming dark days. They had built up, supplied, armed, and prepared their own 'Haven' . The word had gone out, it was time, Haven called its people home. Most had gathered, some were on the way through the dangerous, crowded highways and the blackened alleys of burning cities.
If you find sections that sound familiar, people that kinda could be so-and-so, maybe you're right, maybe you've been watching the wrong news network, or not. This storyline is a short history of the near future. Take what you will from the story, there's no denying the truths that underlay the fiction. I love this series!

Life is stranger than fiction.
Bobby Akart has an uncanny ability to bring his books into our front page news. Many readers of apocalyptic fiction are always reading to see if they too could survive an event. Sometimes it gets too real. I can see the author's storyline come to fruition and it is scary.
Haven is the ultimate bug out spot. They have the right people for the jobs. It takes just one small incident to turn this Haven into a nightmare. A few of the characters I am so frustrated with. A pop on the head. Unfortunately the author is leaving me with a few unanswered questions and I can't wait until Book 4 comes out. I want to know what happened!!!
A must read series. Five Stars +

Things are really heating up now in book three of the Doomsday series. Not only in the powers vying for control behind the scenes but also in the streets where chaos is running rampant and people are fighting for their lives. Plans have been set in motion to bring America to her knees and it appears to be working. The innocent are trying to survive and find safety and food while they are being hunted by a group whose only objective is to cause upheaval and fear in those who dare to be who they are…every day citizens. The group has been hired by Gyorgy Schwartz and his son Jonathon and their leader will do everything in his power to carry out their wishes…and enjoy it while he is doing it! In the meantime, Schwartz’s mortal enemy, George Townsend, is fighting two battles of his own. One, he is dying, and nothing can be done except to keep him comfortable and hooked to machines to extend his life while he grooms his son-in-law to take his place and the second is to settle a score with one of his own people that has an agenda of his own. Mean while at the Haven. Ryan and Blair Smart have everything set for those arriving and set up security details and jobs for those who can fill them to keep everyone safe. Coincidences among those who have traveled along the dangerous roads are brought to light and it seems as if an unknown force had been watching out for many of them, while guiding them to their place of safety. But as all things are good, sometimes a wrench gets thrown into the best laid plans and drama can’t help creep in to stir the pot up, something that Blair had tried her hardest to avoid.
Bobby Akart has managed once again with this addition to the series to grab my attention and not let it go until the very end of it. With many twists and turns, heart stopping moments, and “Holy crap” said numerous times, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It seemed that I was reading the headlines from the news with all that is happening in today’s world…but it hasn’t happened yet. Mr. Akart has an uncanny vision to see into the future and write a story that is so realistic that you shudder to think that this could happen…and soon. I love his books not only for the entertainment value but for the survival tips that are written into the story that you might not realize as you are reading along but some how stick with you. I will say that this is my most favorite story line so far and encourage everyone that loves a fantastic thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat to get a copy and enjoy the ride.

As Anarchy begins in the USA, Gyorgy Schwartz begins his plan to bring America to it’s knees. While some would think of bombs and killing, Schwartz wants to collapse the economy, of course by putting more money in his pocket. But most importantly to destroy America. With that said he still will use his minions, the Rosa Negra or Black Rose anarchists to create havoc in the cities, especially the richer enclaves of these cities.
Of course Gyorgy’s greatest enemy, George Trowbridge, is doing all he can to see that this does not happen. Trowbridge, using his contacts and power within the government, is able to get a warrant for Gyorgy and have him arrested. But even with Gyorgy in custody, his son Jonathan, was able to escape and will do anything he can to avenge his father.
George still has to be very careful as he realizes one of his oldest and most trusted friends, Hanson Briscoe, is not all he seems and may have actually attempted to kill George’s son-in-law, Michael Cortland in the New Year Eve attack on his plane.
As all of this is taking place Haven was still preparing for the chaos that they knew was coming. The members of Haven are arriving and taking their place protecting Haven and the loved ones that are coming each day.
Will Hightower and his two children, Skylar and Ethan have arrived and Ethan has already created problems for his father, and will continue to create major problems for Will and for Haven as he decides he must find his mother.
Michael Cortland and Tom Shelton step in to help Ryan Smart oversee the Haven as the members arrive. The trials and tribulations of the people who will make up Haven are exciting and will keep you on the edge of your seat as they fight their way to the front gates.
Bobby Akart has done it again, another great read that will thrill and scare you, but most importantly will expose the dealings within and outside our government and the way things could easily go if we keep following the divide that our country is undergoing at this time. These vile men have decided to play and purge American live by causing catastrophic events. Meanwhile the average Joe, Jane and their offspring who do their level best get shafted. Many will die. Trowbridge and his band of cultists are not real patriots but tyrannical killers. Then there is the Black Rose group who indiscriminately kill anything in their path.
Who will survive? Will America ever be able to pull itself back together? Will Trowbridge pay for his crimes against humanity? Nah, the rich get away with anything they want to do.

Wow! Nice to see so many authors love Bobby Akart also. He is truly one of those author you can't put down. I love enjoying and learning from every book in every series. I am re-reading the Doomsday series. Maybe because the characters are so well developed or maybe because the plot line is so close to predicting todays events. All of his books do 1 thing..they get your brain working. Glad so many of you think the same thing. for those you you who have not tried him yet, if you enjoy history the nations development and one heck of a series may I suggest you start your Akart Adventure with the Boston B.rahmin series

Just finished listening to Author Bobby Akart’s Doomsday Anarchy narrated by the excellent Chris Abernathy - the book compels the reader to keep listening and Chris brings visualization and depth to the characters.
Bobby keeps us spinning as he follows the perilous journeys to the Haven. The viciousness of the attacks, the courage of a young 11 year old, and the “behind the scenes” manipulations are all part of the machinations in the devious mind of Bobby Akart. Well done both Bobby and Chris.

"Another Great Provocative Story"
This book 3 of this enticing series is captivating as the previous two. The battle fuse has been lit and war is on Main Street, USA. It's Americans against Americans as the country has become divided and is now entering the Second Civil War. This novel has several true events of the past, it's well written and totally engulfing. Akart is one of my most famous authors as he does much researching of history as he presents the problems we face today in our country. Highly recommend.

Decent series
So far it’s been a decent series. Expecting the action to pick up soon. I would of gave it 4 stars except for one issue that’s been bothering me on every book that has nothing to do with his writing. The first 10% of the book is a rehash of what I already read in a previous book. The last 10% is a preview of what I will already read in the next book. So 20% of each book I skip over. It’s annoying to have to skip so much and makes me feel he’s cheating to get a word count.

Excellent!
As always, Bobby Akart has created another series that you cannot put down. If you're like me, you finish the book quickly and then find yourself wanting more, disappointed that you must wait until the next installment.
In addition, I really appreciate the fact that there isn't any profanity in his books...so refreshing.

Books 1, 2, & 3.
This series is a great read. Have enjoyed the first 3 books. Gives you a look at what could happen in the world we live in today. As the country is facing a reset of some sort, this gives us a way it could happen. As all of Bobby's book series I read faster than he writes and now have to wait for #4.

It's today
Great reading. Almost like reading headlines in the local paper. It seems like Akart is one of the few who can accurately relate the schism happening our country today. I agree that what is happening in America today can be related back to the Civil War, and the possibility of another is daunting.

The Plot Thickens
Bobby Akart has a way of making each book in his series better than the last. The way each of the characters life’s are interwoven are just brilliant. Now I’m left to wait till the next book in series to find out the cliffhanger, answers will not come fast enough!

In the third book of this thought provoking series, the tension is staring to rise. There are riots, calculated attacks and people just trying to survive. Martial law is now in effect and that doesn't sit well with much of the population. At Haven, more people are arriving and plans are being made. This series just gets better and better with each new book.

Once again Mr. Akart has written another great series.....This book makes you stop and think, Could this happen? Not only could it happen but it probably will...Loved the characters throughout this book...Lots of edge of your seat, nail biting and of course, no sleeping....Well worth the reading

The characters are memorable, the storyline intense and full of political intrigue. Enjoying this series as much as I did the Asteroid, pandemic, blackout and Yellowstone series’s.
