It’s that time of the month.Bills. Bills. Bills. They’re piled up on the counter, and I don’t earn enough to make ends meet, not when I have student loans and I’m responsible for the payments for my mother’s treatment. If she knew how much her illness put me out…she never would have forgiven herself. A mother’s love is unconditional…but so is a daughter’s. I can’t survive like this much longer, not if I want to eat and sleep in a bed instead of a cardboard box on the street. So I do the unthinkable…and contact the Cherry Popper. I don’t know the guy, but I know his reputation from whispers on the street. He’ll pay top dollar to be a woman’s first—and I’m so desperate for money that I’ve lost all my dignity. I submit an application to be considered and feel equally relieved and sick when he selects me.When I see Slate for the first time I’m speechless—because he’s gorgeous. So gorgeous that I would sleep with him for free. Our eyes would meet across the bar, and I’d be the one buying him a drink instead of the other way around. But I quickly realize how complicated this enigmatic man really is. He’s got a dark past, and instead of just doing my job and taking the money, I find myself wanting to know more.Wanting to know everything about this beautiful man.Pick up the first installment of this v-card romance now by clicking the BUY NOW button at the top of this page. Who in their right mind would think of writing such an awful and absolutely disgusting story??!!

To me, it sounds like a disgrace to female gender rather than a romance book.

This premise is disgusting. And the male antagonist (cause I'm not even going to use the word hero) has slept with over 700 women; he needs therapy not his own businesses. This is NOT romance.

This also does not appear to be a standalone. Beware you are not getting the full story for $7!

I helped myself to his clothes and pulled out a black t-shirt. The cotton surrounded me, smelling like laundry detergent. I moved back to bed and got under the covers beside him. “Your bed is comfy…”
“I’m comfier.” He pulled me across the bed toward him so I was right against his chest. He hiked my leg over his waist so we could sleep close together, my tits against his hard chest. His hand slid under the cotton of my shirt so he could grip my waist as he closed his eyes.

lalalalalalala....

yemek yemeler, Slate'in yemek yapması şu bu falan

Slate'de televizyonda ikisini görünce deliriyor Monroe was dating someone else. She didn't sit around and wait for me. She didn't cry every night while watching TV. She'd put her heart on the line, and when I stomped on it, she moved on. Now she was dating a men just as wealthy as I was- and handsome. I was furious. diyor. Utanmadan bunları düşünüyor. İçten içe kızın oturup arkasından ağlamasını, gelip yalvarmasını, kendisini atlatamamasını istiyor... işte bunlar hep ders oluyor bana evde oturduğum halde... cidden hepsi böyle ya. oçlar.

sonra sürekli Monroe'yu (adını buldum sonunda dkljf) Wyatt'la görüyor, kıskanıyor, düşünüyor, düşünceler kafasını yiyor.
kızın işyerine gidiyor en sonunda, öğle yemeğinden gelirlerken yakalıyor Monroe ve Wyatt'ı, orada bi konuşmak istememe şeyi oluyor neyse, en sonunda konuştuklarında yüzsüz Slate efendi şöyle diyor I didn't expect you to be with someone so soon, especially someone so similar to me. I haven't been able to stop thinking.... bla bla zırvalıyor, şu ucuzluğa bak. g*t.
neyse bir yerden sonra Monroe yumuşuyor işte Do you want to be with me?" diye soruyor
göt herif kızın bunu sorduğuna şükredeceğine I don't know" diyor. yüzsüüüüz.
Monroe'da döktürüyor -"You don't know? So, you don't want to be with me, but you don't want me to be Wyatt? I don't think you really want me, Slate. I just think you can't stand the fact that you didn't ruin me. I bounced back and found someone else. I didn't cry over you and wait around. Now I'm seeing a man who's just as handsome, charming and successful. You can't stand it." diyor. harika demiyor mu ama ldkflkjgdg

Slate'de kızdan ŞU ŞEKİLDE hoşlandığını düşünüyor: (iyi okuyun, ucuzluğu kanınızda hissedeceksiniz) -"I wasn’t just obsessed with Monroe because of her incredible pussy. I loved everything about her, from the freckles on her cheeks, to her full lips, to the way she laughed. I loved the way she licked her wine away when a drop came loose. I loved the way she pardoned me for my sins and saw me as a good man underneath. I also loved her purity—the fact that only I had fucked her.
burayı okurken baya bi sövdüm heralde. berbat ya.
b e r b a t.

neyse Monroe yumuşuyor demiştim.. Wyatt'la bitiriyor ilişkisini. Slate'le konuşmasından bir kaç parça;
“You really don’t want me to be with Wyatt, huh?”
“No.” I couldn’t stand the thought. (Slate'in düşüncesi)
“It makes me sad to think he’s the only reason this is happening. If I dated some nobody, you never would have known about it and never would have thought of me again.”

yani burda diyor ki Monroe, beni geri istemenin tek sebebi bizi sürekli televizyonda, haberlerde orda burda görmen. normal biriyle çıksaydım, bilmeyecektin, haberin olmayacaktı, beni düşünmeyecektin. EEE BUNLARI SÖYLÜYORSUN İYİ GÜZEL DE sonuç olarak ona geri dönüyorsun.. :p artık ikinci çocuklar kazansın. tiim ikinci beyler diyorum. artık kötülük kazanmalı.
ilk ben gördüm benim olacak diye bişey yok, sen bıraktın o kaptı. olabilir. olabilir yavrum. ama yazarlar canları ciğerleri ilk erkekleri asla hayal kırıklığına uğratmıyorlar. 10 yıl gönül eğlendiren erkek geri döndüğünde bıraktığı kızla yeniden beraber olabiliyor??1?!! var mı öyle bir dünya? sinirim bozuldu yine bak.
neyse bu aptalların bir konuşması daha vardı: -"“I ended things with Wyatt yesterday. He took it well.”
Relief danced across his eyes like it was the best news he’d heard all day. His shoulders relaxed noticeably with the deep breath he took. His rival was out of the way, which meant he had me all to himself. “I’m surprised he was so understanding.”
“He told me to call him if it doesn’t work out.”
The relief he showed a second ago disappeared. “Of course he did…”
“If you don’t want me, someone else will. It’s not that surprising.”

Strange and disgusting premise ... his girlfriend betrays him and he descends into paying large sums of money to sleep with virgins ... h tries to change him ... at one point he counts, on average, the number of virgin women he slept with over the last 5 years ... at the rate of 3 per week over 5 years ... 780 virgins ... he paid at least $100k to each of them ...
the way H describes the sensations of being with virgins ... ugh! ...seemed rather disgusting

The title doesn't do justice to this book. This is actually a pretty sweet and funny romance, very well written. I have read many books from Victoria Quinn and I knew her writing never disappoints.

The hero Slate Remington, is a sexy 30 years old billionaire who owns a chain of luxury hotels. It starts showing us a man who is very serious in his work environment, but very asshole and cold in his private life. Than with the story progressing we see the real him. Behind that shell Slate is a wounded man, who has trust issues, because of the way he was backstabbed by people he loved. Because of an event happening five years ago, he started this fetish to have sex only with virgins. He paid for one night service and than goodby, no strings attached.

The heroine, Monroe, 23 years old, is very strong and straight forward, she cuts through the BS really quick. She's also very funny. She's a marketing executive at a clothing company in New York. But even though she has a decent salary she's struggling with her finances. She has a debt of 650,000$ created by her student loans and the costs of her mother experimental cancer cure.
In her state of desperation she learns from her assistant about a friend of her that was paid 100k$ to give her v card to a billionaire.
So after learning his name, she starts to Google him and find his HQ office.
I loved the part when she run to his office offering him her V card. It was hilarious😂😂😂
Clearly, she left him speechless and impressed him with her courage, I couldn't stop the laugh!

But that transaction doesn't go as either of them would have thought. She will drive him nuts!! Their story was very nicely developed and we see also the change in Slate. Their chemistry is strong and their intimate scenes were very hot!!

The book 1 has a nice ending and their story continues in book 2.

This book had me on the edge of my seat since the 1st page. Victoria has a way of keeping your interest even when you feel like you already know what will happen and Cherry Popper was a perfect example. It was a little predictable but still can't put the book down. Monroe and Slate are two of the most honest, no nonsense, people ever introduced in a book. They are almost too honest to a fault. (Poor Wyatt 😔). We just don't know yet if all this honesty will be a good or bad thing for them. I'm holding judgement of Slate until Cherry Lover. I kinda like him right now. 😁 Otherwise, Amazing kickoff to 2019 from Victoria.

Thnk god this shitshow is over.
I don't know why i read this.
Moreover, why i continued reading this.
I sometimes like to torture myself.
This was one of those times ig.

I do admit i liked Monroe the virgin. :)
But i lost respect for her -the little amount i had- after she became the annoying clingy "too optimistic" like every ow the books heros encounter.

Also, they made a good pair of two shallow pathetic foolish and plain boring partners.
They do deserve each other.

This is exactly like any other typical bad story framed as 'romance' except this was worse.
Typical bad plot like this includes a good guy scapegoat, the side piece for the FMC to use while she is "separated" with the MMC.

Yeah this had that too.
I will never stop hating that specifically.

You know how 365 days -the whole netflx movie series are trash? But are soo popular? People are actually watching it because they hate it so much?

That's why i read this book. Why i didn't DNF.
There's just something entertaining about seeing a chaotic mess unfold before you and you know you'll end up laughing because you just hate it so fucking much.

I think Cherry Popper is alright....it’s entertaining as an in between reading.
So Slate is a cherry popper and Monroe the virgin somehow attracted him like no others.
I enjoy reading their getting to know each other and the sex is stram except too many big dick and tight cunt mentioningbut I have gotta roll my eyes. Plots are pretty kuch cliche the worst is how Slate’s asshole move near the end. Nuh ah no no it’s too dick a move to easily forgive which is why I like Monroe until the moment she became too forgiving. Dunno about next book but I’d like to know about the family feud than romance!

Ce plat devrait me tenir plusieurs jours ».
— Seulement quand je me branle. »
« — Je suis surpris. Tu as une très jolie chatte.
— Merci… Tu as une très jolie bite.
— Je pense qu’elles s’entendront bien. »

Slate is restrained and arrogant. Things have not gone well where love is concerned. Trust and happily ever afters are not part of his reality. Self-proclaimed the "Cherry Popper", his kink is sleeping with virgins only. One night, one encounter, and then he is done! This way he can claim each woman, give them pleasure to the extent they will never forget him, and never be entangled with all the problems of having a relationship.

This is so until Monroe comes into his life. She is different from all the other women he has bedded. With all her physical attributes and her intelligence, Slate realizes Monroe is a unique woman. Perhaps it is the fact that he must work at seducing her that leaves a mark in his heart, but once he sleeps with her, he cannot forget her.

Absolutely masterful tale of seduction and love. This love affair will leave wondering what is next for Slate and Monroe. I cannot wait to read Cherry Lover!

I am voluntarily reviewing this book. Thanks to the author for sharing a copy with me.

Once again Victoria knocks it out of the park. I was really nervous how this story would play out because i wasn't really fond of the first chapter. I am so glad I continued reading bc this is easily one of my favorite books. I love how strong willed Monroe is and doesn’t put up with Slate being an ass. I can’t want to keep reading this series and see where Monroe and Slate’s three month relationship takes them!!

Cherry Popper is a real page turner. Once the first chapter pulls you in, you won't put it down until you finish it. I highly recommend "Cherry Popper" by Victoria Quinn if you want something that will leave you at the edge of your seat.

This was a difficult premise but Ms Quinn seemed to handle it...felt for the h and although the H was a douche he grew on me. Glad the evil ex-ow was introduced to bring some drama.

...

The hero wants to virgin woman - to the lack of experience and innocence - and pay a lot of money for it. And okay, I understand. To later read the "virgin" heroine remember, in fact, has expirience in oral sex and others kinds of sex.
Heroine who, to tell the truth, is a jewel. because it keeps its "innocence" "purity" despite qualifying women without an experience as MONSTERS. (For she, virgins who do not do blowjobs are monsters ... And she a hypocrite! Proclaiming an innocence THAT DOES NOT HAVE!)
Seriously? What do they now give the authors at breakfast so they see normal saying one thing and doing something completely different? In my world that is called bipolarism.
But, seriously? The hero did not feel like a fool being completely scammed by this woman? It's very funny, because there's only one word for a hero like that: Idiot.

(...) (...) (...)

I was ready to give this a hard pass, as I tend to hate most man whore/virgin fics out there, but the soap lover/Harlequin Romance lover in me (who can tolerate a lot) decided to try it out. I was ready to bail at any time after reading what I felt was a personally disgusting so-called romance synopsis not to mention reader reviews (which I totally appreciate as a heads up).

The whole virgin/cherry popping thing really was a turn off for me as a reader, no matter how it was spun for either the girls or the buyer. Especially when it involves a guy popping the cherries of literally hundreds of women - and getting off on their pain and their blood and inability to handle his huge dice- gag. But I sucked back my disgust and tried it out cause I honestly have some kind of sick attraction toward this trope as well. When its done the way I want it to be for me to tolerate it. Which mostly it is not.

Slate is a an asshole of the highest order. He has only fucked virgins for the last five years due to trust issues (please who doesn't have those) and admits he gets off on their pain, relishing in the fact he has a big dick and knows they are hurting when he breaks them in. Honestly the guy is repulsive no matter how physically hot he is. I did appreciate his adherence to no carbs in this regard. If he was the only reason to read this fic I would have bailed but luckily for the author and him Monroe came along.

I was fully prepared to drop this fic at this point until I decided that I was going to treat this fic as some sort of parody of the virgin/ man whore trope. And then believe it or not it worked. The fact that he had literally hundreds of gorgeous virgins to choose from (please my disbelief at this was enough to make me want to stop reading), that he screwed over a five hundred virgins himself (please my sides from laughing at how this is so unbelievable- especially the fact he passed over dozens who didn't pass the test) and that he spent literally millions of dollars doing this (well maybe he had the cash for this but really 100,000 a pop at 500 virgins :-- )enabled me to not take this so seriously. Which helped immensely when telling myself it was ok to read this in spite of my loathing of this trope.

Much to my surprise I ended up enjoying this fic more than I thought but only for one reason - the heroine Monroe. Holy shit - she was like my dream girl for these types of tropes. Yes she was naive and romantic, yes she gave him way too many chances and kind of effed off his previous man whore ways. But holy hell what she wasn't was a woman who was going to wait on the sidelines celibate while he figured his shit out. Really am I so burnt out from this trope as a reader, that this is my low bar? I would say I was yes. But Monroe kept me hooked in. I loved her bluntness, her ability to see the good in people, and her loyalty and unwavering hopefulness. Literally Monroe is my perfect heroine for these types of trope oriented fics and for her alone I am giving this three stars.

I also have to say I think the writing was mostly really good. I appreciated the differing POV perspectives and just felt enveloped by the story. Something I never expected - so kudos the author on that.

Cherry popper, big dick, virgin, tight pussy, idiot brother
That's the entire book in under ten words. This story is so repetitive and cringe worthy throughout that you'd think a child put it together.
The premise isn't horrible, but the end result is.

I feel like i continue to get sucked into the worlds that our author Ms Quinn take us into, and that’s such a nice thing given the stresses of my daily life. In this instance, we have two character that haven’t had it easy for a variety of reasons, who find each other through odd circumstances and realize that what they’ve been doing to survive thus far isn’t the ideal.

We meet Monroe early on – she’s the main leading lady here – a girl who’s trying to make a name for her self professionally, while also trying to dig herself out of the hole that she’s in financially because of both her education and for a treatment that she had hoped would work to save her mother’s life. Sadly, her mother passed and she’s stuck with this $450k bill that is a reminder she will carry every day of her life until it’s paid off that her mom couldn’t beat the odds. On top of that, she’s paying off student loans that were taken out in the hopes of learning more to get a better job and she questions that choice every day of her life.

When a friend tells her how she was able to make a quick $100k by selling her virginity, and she realizes that the man who’s paying is young, attractive and worth the effort, she takes the leap and tracks him down. Her methods were unconventional and not at all what Slate (our leading man) is used to, and that’s what changes the trajectory of the story completely.

Enter Slate, the man who pays for girls virginity, for a variety of reasons. We learn that he’s been burned by love and family in the past and needs to have control so that he can protect his heart. Because of this, he won’t allow any woman close enough to get in, and he won’t ever do repeats. He’s able to get what he needs, and provide these girls with the best first time memory that they can desire and it’s a win win since they’re compensated nicely for it.

If only it were that easy right? This is where out story goes off the rails, and not in a bad way. Monroe essentially is a tease since she agrees and then stops at the last moment. She does this a few times and while that should irritate Slate, it makes this into an idea of conquest. It becomes about the chase because he realizes (even if he won’t admit that he does) that there’s something more here, that he enjoys Monroe’s company and that he’s attracted to her more than any other woman.

We get on the roller coaster from here with them. watching how things seem to go on the right path to form a real bond, and then we see how that crashes and burns and how Monroe’s innocent mindset of what this could be is proven wrong. We’re accustomed to how this story plays out as it’s the norm in the genre – the man makes it clear what he’s looking for and what he’s not capable of giving, yet the girl thinks that she’s able to change his outlook on life. When she’s pushed away in a cold way, there are two choices, wallow or pick yourself up, and knowing Monroe the way we do, we know she’ll pick herself up. The way that plays out for Slate though will be interesting to watch.

The other plot line that we watch from here out though is that of Slate’s family. We know that his brother is marrying the woman who burned him in the past, and that’s what started all these actions. Slate knows that Simone is only after their money and his brother won’t recognize that. We have to watch to see what tricks have to be pulled and how this plays out to see if there’s any hope for Slate to have his happy ending as well.

So on that note, we’re left broken hearted on one side of the coin, hopeful for the future on the other, and completely engaged to see how romance, passion and fear will translate into a conclusion for this duo

**Victoria, gurl... you my boo!**

Monroe is an executive at a fashion company. She's intelligent, beautiful, innocent, sassy, and buried under a mountain of debt. Bless her heart, this poor thing has been surviving on crackers and water for lunch because she literally cannot afford anything else. Between her massive student loans and the enormous private loan she took out for her mother's experimental cancer treatments... Monroe has almost nothing after making the minimum payments and forking out rent for her NYC apartment with paper-thin walls.

While at lunch with a friend (where she splurged on water 😢) she hears about a girl who made bank for participating in a once-in-a-lifetime exchange of services. Literally, though, cause a girl can only provide this particular service once. That's right.. he pays for the fruit popping privilege. That douchebag.

Monroe is tempted. She's got debt that her children would still be paying off after she dies of old age. Participating in this exchange of services would knock out a considerable chunk of her debt and change her life. If, that is, she can live with the regret and shame of prostituting herself for money. Using the time-tested researching tool --Google-- she discovers that Slate Remington is not a sweaty, fluffy old creeperton. He's actually, like, really hot. For a douchecanoe.

So, with far more courage and wrecklessness than I was expecting, Monroe busts herself downtown and barges into this Adonis's office. And propositions him. To bang her for money.

Slate Remington, a dark-eyed, muscle-bulging, fine-ass hotelier, is less than tickled with this mouthy stranger waltzing into his office asking to hop on his junk. He finds her stunning, however, and gives her the card for his... ahem... pimp, and dismisses her from his office as only an irritated alpha male can: with icy efficiency.

Monroe calls the pimp aka Max as soon as she gets home, and follows Slate's protocol for applying for a date. To her surprise, Slate agrees to meet with her even after she sassed him.

What follows is the most glorious game of cat and mouse I've ever seen. There is so much tension-building and nearly theres that I was ready to yell at them to finally put me out of my misery too. 🤣🤣🤣

I can't really add any more without spoiling.

Victoria Quinn has the unique ability to make me laugh, cry, and want to throw my phone across the room. There are *NOT* many authors who can manage this, which is why she will nearly always get a 5/5 from me. ❤️

*Side note, if you have not read Boss Lady, go do that right now!*

Slate Remington and Monroe

*****Spoiler Alert*****

Purchased ebook (2019) review. Listened to it via the Alexa app. Dual POV. Book 1 of the Cherry duet. Age gap MF romance. This book ends very abruptly as if mid-thought. I also wonder if Victoria Quinn and Penelope Sky are the same author because the pace of the story and the abrupt ending match PS's style. Content warnings: both of h parents are deceased; H father is deceased; cheating (H brother slept with H girlfriend, ending both relationships).

Slate Remington (30) lost his v when he was 15 to Simone his on-again-off-again girlfriend. A decade later they were in a committed relationship, Simone wanted to marry Slate but he wasn't ready to get married so she slept with Coen, Slate's brother. Sadly Slate found out about their betrayal and Coen started dating Simone publicly which humiliated Slate. Five years later Coen and Simone are engaged to be married and Slate is committed to being "The Cherry Popper" (paying women for their v¡rg¡n¡ty). Slate and Coen's father died 10 years ago leaving them his hotel chain. Slate and Coen started running it together and now it is worth over a billion dollars due to all of Slate's hard work.

Monroe (23) is a college graduate, has a master's degree, is a marketing executive for a clothing brand, and is weighed down by $600,000 of debt from student loans and her mom's medical bills. Her father died 10 years ago and he mother died a year ago. When her friend mentions that she knows someone who sold her virginity to Slate Remington for $100,000 Monroe is intrigued and repulsed by the idea. Monroe does her research and approaches Slate about it at his office. Slate gives her Max's business card and sends her away. Max gives Monroe the details of Slate's usual arrangement and reports back to Slate to see if he wants to meet up with Monroe. Slate wanted Monroe from the moment she stepped into his office so they agree to dinner. Monroe needs the money so she accepts Slate's one night offer. They meet again but Monroe can't go through with it. Slate doubles his offer but Monroe needs more......

Simone is evil and has her own nefarious plans to add a secondary plot to the story as well. JP
