From my VOYA review 1999
"These women are arguably some of the best role models... Many of them mention being discouraged by coaches who told them not to be so (unseemly) aggressive, and their joy at finding like-minded female players... Soccer fans should be fascinated by these bios, which will get them psyched up for the games. The book reads like a hip ESPN2 pre-game show complete with official stats, funky facts, and heartwarming stories."
