Not a terrible ending, but it kinda seems like Marvel just doesn't really care about this story anymore since they've already moved onto the next "status-quo-forming-X-Men-cross-over". I guess if you've been following along with the time-displaced X-Men, then this might've been a good conclusion to their story.

The story of the time-displaced original X-Men was one of the defining stories that I attribute my love of comic books and graphic novels to, and this five-issue event was a pretty perfect send-off to these characters (though at least one of them has recently returned...)
