There are five stages of grief, and I clung to my anger like it was a lifeline. I used it as a tether to the world, defying all odds just so I could feel something. They wanted me dead. Now, I’m gunning for them. The rage inside me won’t be quenched until everyone from that night has paid. Someone should have warned them; if you fuck with a Carter, they’ll fuck you over ten times harder. I’ve been given a second chance at life, and I’ll be using it wisely, even if it means my own death sentence. This time, I’ll be ready. This time, I’ll be waiting. There’s just one thing I must do before exacting my earn the forgiveness of Paisley Hayes. And with eight brothers standing behind her, it will be the most gruelling fight I’ve ever had to face. But for her, I’ll do it. She owns me.

The third book in the Next Generation Series was overall a good one time read.

I liked the strong family connections in this book and there were moments of amusement. Again, Max was a hoot.

I wasn’t as ensnared as I would have liked to be, and didn’t feel heavily invested in what occurred as Landon and Paisley worked towards their HEA, but it was a nice light reading.

Will I be reading the next book in the series – yes, I just won’t be impatiently waiting for its release.

Landon Carter was the most intense out of the Carter kids, he had a tragedy he has never been able to get over. The only person who seems to crack that shell is Paisley Hayes, but Landon doesn't want his shell cracked. They have one moment together before Landon lashes out and pushes Paisley away. Weeks later Paisley seeks Landon out saving his life instead. Landon has a long road to recovery but he can't get Paisley out of his mind. Landon needs to come to terms with his past before he can build a future with Paisley, if she is willing to forgive him. The only problem though is Paisley has 8 brothers who are rivals of the Carters and overly protective of Paisley. Can he find a way to win Paisley's heart even though others would like to keep them apart?

I was intrigued to find about Landon. You had hints of his character in the other books and he was even better than I expected. I loved Paisley, she is strong but has brothers who are overly protective. I loved how this whole story unfolded. Wonderful read, one of the best in the series thus far.

Might have some tiny spoiler not anything straigh out said.. haha I really tried to have it spioler free!

A new book to had to the great read I have had from this author. Love the Carters! This family is behond funny. This book is about Landon he is one of a set of triplets. Max and Lake are his parents. Max is awesome in this book and he family shows what they are all about!

Now to the couple.

Landon has been through some hard ship. He so did not pick the best way as to how to handle that hurt. He is a lot like Malik in a sense ( First book in the Carter brothers series). He is very over protective to those he loves and cares for tho few they are outside of his family. He is hot, liek steaming. He can be funny as well. He has one family member that is his best friend and that is Charlotte. I love her and can not wait to read her book!
With Paisley he messes up bad like BAD but don't worry he works to over come that. In a way. Would have liked to see him grovel a little more. shrug that just me. He is in to fighting (underground) and get in some trouble and its bad.. the family ralleis and "safe" the day. in a very funny way.

( We do meet her inn Aidens book and her awesome weird brothers)
Paisley is sweet, shy and very protected (or so her brothers think). In truth she just loves the people around her and gives them what they want as long as it is not hurting her. She does show she has a back bone like no other. Her mother is a gem! Her brother are behond awsome .. so want Jaxons story! they all need books! ! ! Paisley has what it seems on true friend Adam he is interesting and a little funny. She has always worked with her brothers. The turn that take is interestnig. She is tho very sweet and wants to really just help anyone in need it seems.

They are very very sweet as a couple when they get over the very weird messed up thing that happpened. ( Totally Landons fault! the first part not the last haha I know making a lot of sense!)

Landon is so behound sweet with her when he pulls his head out of his ass. She makes him work for it. Him wanting to start as friends. but as a j/p he does not go with that plan for a long it seems.

This is a sweet read. It some hard things to read through and I can imagine if loss is a trigger this book might be. It's worth it tho. It's a great book! Read the hole thing in one go.

Landon Review- Lisa Helen Gray
Rating-5
Quote I love- “Because maybe all the best love stories begin with second chances”

This book was emotional and heartbreaking. I cried so many times during this book. Landon and Paisley had this heartbreaking, beautiful relationship. I mean they have this connection that was out of this world.
Landon is dark, alpha, and protective of everyone he loves. While he appears as this scary guy, he does have this soft spot inside of him. Honestly he is just a beautiful person, I love him as a character. He was a complex character and had so much depth to him.
Paisley was another beautiful person. She also had depth to her and what happens to her is heartbreaking. She experiences many tragic things in this book, please DM me to find out the triggers. I do not want to put them here because there are a few and I don’t want to spoiler it for anyone. While these tragic things happen to both Landon and Paisley their relationship grows stronger because of them.
I mean this book wrecked me in the best way possible. I cried, laughed, and felt so many emotions. I devoured this book in a day because it was addicting. I fell into the pages, into the story of this book. I even cried when it was over because I did not want the story to end. Landon and Paisley’s story will stick with me for a long time. I already want to reread it.

She is amazing in this book, in Wyatt’s book she is an horrible woman, he doesn’t deserve her, H made awful things and said mean and disgusting things in front if her brothers, basically, he reveals they had sex “and opened to him like butter”
Not enough grovel in the world!!!!

Landon is book three in the ‘’ a next generation carter brother’’ series. I really love this story and really enjoyed this book. I devoured this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout.
I really liked Landon and Paisley as a couple. I loved that Landon didn’t give up despite Paisleys resistance and her brother’s actions. I liked that it took a little convincing for Paisley to give Landon a second chance. My heart ached for Paisley when she went through what she did and for Landon when he learnt about it. I was angry at Landon for the way he treated Paisley before he knew and I was angry at the way Paisley’s brother revealed her secret to everyone.
I liked the Hayes brothers. I understood why they were overprotective of Paisley but they annoyed me. I wanted them to let Paisley live her own life by her own choices. It was clear to see that she loved Landon yet they continued to cause problems.
I loved that Paisley got along with the carter family. I loved how much she got on with Max. Talking of Max, I loved his parts in this story. He is still as hilarious as ever! I liked the ending to this book and the scene with Charlotte and the duck had me chuckling.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series and more from the Hayes.

I'm a little confused about Landon's past. He is grieving a past relationship that happened when he was a kid but unless it was mentioned in the parents series I don't know what really happened. The little bit that was mentioned wasn't enough to give me any insight at to why it turned him into a broody angry man.
Although Landon was with his past girlfriend it didn't stop him from noticing Paisley. When they hook up it shakes Landon up and he pushes her away in the worst way possible. Now he is fighting to get back into her good graces and fighting against her brothers.
The only thing standing in their way is her 8 brothers and the revenge he seeks to the 4 guys that tried to kill him. There are some LOL moments, especially from Landon's father.
I really love getting glimpses off all of the Carter brothers from the first series. I swear while reading each book all you can do is try to guess who is next in line for love. Also why doesn't Charlotte know how awful her cooking is? Why isn't anyone telling her? Hasn't she tasted her own cooking. NEED to know these things...LOL

Cheers!

This is one love story to root for! Two tortured souls finding love and healing in the arms of one another is such a great read. The comedy and suspense to fill the story make it an amazing read. Landon and Paisley are my favorite love story of all the Carter books so far!
One thing that I’m trying to get used to is Max. I loved his character in the original Carter series but I was hoping the adult version would mature him a bit. I don’t really know how to receive him yet. He’s the absolute best comedy relief and I’m sure that’s the reason for his character. This book though made me glad to see the softer and more vulnerable side to him. The parent and not the child side to his personality. It was so good!
I can’t wait to read Charlotte’s book but am trying to be patient and read ‘Hayden’ and ‘Maddox’ first. I love Charlotte so much and was excited to see she had one of her own. Now…will Lilly have her own book or will she be a part of the Hayes’ series? (I have an inkling she may get with one of them.)

This is the first time i am writing a review and is not entirely one, but i just finish reading Landon, and since there is not book about Charlotte to my knowledge at the moment, i have this sort of theory that she know that she can't cook anything but she does it anyway. She just waiting to someone to have the courage to tell her that her food is bad so that they realise she can take the comment and that she is not made of glass like they treating her. I need a book fo Charlotte.
Ps i apologised in advanced for my english, i am from argentina and it could not be the best
Ps 2: i love this series i want a Max in my life

Another Wonderful Carter Generations Book!!😍🔥

Landon Carter is a deep & dark character, mostly he'd made himself become numb I think. Paisley Hayes was beautiful inside & out. Although she seemed meek & mild, we really saw another side of her throughout this book!!👍

Their story is truly harrowing at the start!! 😭 The heartbreak during the first 1/4-1/3 of the book is intense😞😥 It's a real awakening for these characters which made for a lovely story & a beautifully strong romance 💙💖🍀 Max & Maddox crack me up 😂😂

I love this authors work. I highly recommend the series😎👍

This author is completely awesome!

I found myself reading pages over again because I didn't want to release the moment. I am completely caught up in this world of the Carter's I sometimes find myself jealous of the characters. It's not because they are rich, but FAMILY and LOVE. I can't wait for the next plot, storytelling, or the next scene I can say dream on the morrow. I am completely satisfied with this book I'm only hurt that it ended.
Until we meet again Carter's.😍😍😻😻💏

My favourite book family is back. I couldn't wait to read Landons story after that cliffhanger in the end of Aidens book. I love Landon and Paisley together and I love the addition of the Hayes family. I live that Lisa's books have romance, drama and humor in them. I can't wait to read the next book.

A Must read

I found myself laughing out loud at the characters. I love this series. The Carter / Hayes family will leave you wanting to read more about them and wishing the next book was out. I hope after all the Carter’s next generation books their is a Hayes spin-off if they don’t pair with more Carter’s.

Perfect! I loved it so much and it was definately worth the wait! I can't wait to find out about the next book. I am hoping for a book with Lily and Jaxon though, I still haven't forgotten about his chapter in Aiden... But even if they don't ever get a book together I am sure that I will love whatever the next book is about!

Great funny sad story

So so funny, sad, love all the characters.
Towards the end it dragged out and its sad how they forgot and ditched there best friends to have sex especially since one friend was helping and others have been best friends forever. Where did the dog go?
But it was a really funny, sad read. Loved it. Landon, Max the best.

I love Landons personality and it all made sense after reading this book and seeing his demons. He and Paisley are perfect for each other and reminds me a lot of Maliks personality. I can’t wait to see whose story is next!
