My Declaration: A Challenge For Men To Rise-Up

Rate this book
Today, our world is in desperate need of men. Not men in quantity, but men in character. “My Declaration” is written as a challenge for men to rise-up and live in that character through their God-given purpose and potential in this life. Something was started within us as men when we were born. Something was placed in us by God Himself that lies dormant and ready to rise. Through this book you will be challenged to rise-up with a bold faith and finish what was started in you by being aggressive at purity, taking responsibility, honoring God financially, leading courageously, and leaving a legacy. Those things are already at the core of every man, we just need to rise-up and live them out as men. This is My Declaration! It can be yours as well.

This is a great book encouraging men to live Godly lives that focuses on making declarations to finish what was started in them, living bodily in faith, using their natural aggression to pursue purity, taking responsibility for the authority God has placed on them and using it to promote Christ, taking responsibility for the authority God has given them to be leaders as husbands and fathers, honoring God financially, living for eternity, leading courageously, and leaving a lasting legacy.

While reading the book it was easy for me to hear the tone of his words, but that may be lost on someone who has never heard him preach. Having attended the church he pastors for 4 years, I knew exactly where his stress points would be, what his inflections were, and when he would raise his voice to highlight a word or phrase. For example, when you see the word " hello " the stress would be on the first syllable, not the second as in normal conversation.

I highly recommend listening to a few of his sermons before (or in between readings) to get a gauge for his style, as I feel he writes exactly as he preaches (which is amazing and easily applicable to daily life) at www.elementchurch.life
