Good series
I highly recommend this series. The level of detail and research that went into these books is outstanding. If you are looking for something to read regarding a WWIII scenario this is it.

A fitting conclusion to a fine seriesy
I was captivated by the premise of this series and I was not disappointed. The writing was fast paced and never failed to satisfy. The characters were both believable and authentic. The weapons and the science behind them allowed me an insight in what we can expect to see in the near future. I especially loved the "behind the scenes" look at the political, diplomatic and military meetings and the thought process of the characters. A very entertaining and informative look at the future of our world.

Battlefield China. James Rosone
Book six in this series. The final chapter. This novel portrays war from a personal perspective. A soldiers. It tells of the terror, helplessness waging within ones own personal perspective and of what cost victory entails. As of the five prior novels and this one, in my opinion are realistic scenarios and magnificent reads. My highest recommendation.

I was totally disappointed when I finished this book. I did not want the series to end! Battlefield China was awesome -- engaging, fast paced, and totally plausible. I tried to pace myself, setting aside a few hours each day for reading but ended up reading it in only a few days because I could not set it down.
OK -- Superlatives aside, the entire six book series is nothing short of outstanding. It begins with Battlefield Ukraine which postulated a series of events so close to reality that it was truly frightening, and it takes us through a WWIII scenario (Korea, Taiwan, Pacific, Russia, China) in which the action never stops. The author offers a realistic plot with air, naval, and ground action and a series of characters that ring true.
As a major consumer of war novels, I would rank this series in the top tier - of the same quality as Clancy's Red Storm Rising or Coyle's Team Yankee among others. I would give it six stars if they would let me.

I know this is a review for Battlefield China, but can help give credit to the series as a whole of been one of the best I have read.
This book was like the rest with intense battles and showing not only the glory of battle, but also the physiological/emotional side of war.
I would highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys a good war story. At time you even wonder how much of this is possible of coming ture.
For the worlds sake, let hope it doesn't.

Entertaining and interesting but more than a little drawn out. The overall plot mimics the events of WW2 and positioning America as the world's saviour and world leaders.

This was a book and author that I was first turned onto by a group that I follow on Facebook, Military Thriller Book Group.
I am fortunate to say that I was able to complete the series (all six books) and that I really had an opportunity to develop a fondness for this writer and his writing style.
This book details the final months of World War III as the allied forces, led primarily by the Americans, fight the PRC on their home territory and ultimately defeat them using a pair of nuclear tipped bunker buster bombs.
I enjoyed the story (and after some communication with the author have my next series of books to read -The Monroe Doctrine, which after having already read the first book, I can honestly say that I am looking forward to). That said, and as I am somewhat opinionated and enjoy telling people about what books I have read and that they should have the opportunity to enjoy them as much as I have, I would highly recommend this series (and after checking out book one of another series by this author - he seems to follow a certain theme) to any aficionados of the military thriller genre.
That said, I enjoyed the series and liked how he devoted the last chapter to what happened to the main character in the book, I would easily give this author a solid five stars out of five for this series.

Wow! Ambitious Storytelling Well Done
Overall an interesting read. I read the entire WWIII series. I am impressed how well the authors accomplished such an ambitious story. I particularly like the overall strategy the books laid out. The attention to details is excellent. The locations mentioned actually exist along with the weapons used. I had to remind myself not to think too hard about certain aspects of the story. For instance the timeline and number of troops involved seemed a little too convenient. The earlier books were much better than the last two books. A few storylines were dropped or lost. For instance, whatever happened to Major Ma or Private Lei? The last book in particular was a lot of ‘and then-this’ narrative. But all of these dings only amount to the loss of one star. The books are worth reading. They lay out a thoughtful strategy that I hope never happens. They are so realistic that I can see these books in the libraries of the military academies.

A highly entertaining end to a good fast paced series. The scenario in this book is battles fought in China. Most of the battles had a very similar description where author has used exact same words to describe waves of untrained militia man swarming the western allies positions. So in my opinion this book could have been a little shorter if those duplications could be explained Ina little different way.
Like the previous book, it seems the only way west could find to end the war early is to decapitate the governments of Russia and China by using one of the internal Generals to do the dirty work.
This entire series has shown that there are multiple power points in the world and practically it is not possible for one or two power to dominate the global scenario. This is very clearly visible in the current ongoing Russia-Ukrainian war.
Like the previous book, it seems the only way west could find to end the war early is to decapitate the governments of Russia and China by using one of the internal Generals to do the dirty work.

This is for the whole series. I thought it was very good, I could possibly see even reading it again in the future. Very realistic, not just in description of combat/military (not surprising) but also in how WWIII could happen. I look through current events, China posturing in the Taiwan Straits and Biden making statements w/Japan and South Korea's leaders about need for peace there in 2021. Cyberattack against US gas supply in 2021. And the effect of misinformation on people...
I wish each book had description of the military groups (company, division, etc) so we had an idea about the size of each. And there were no maps, at least in Kindle version (which are usually not great anyway, but still at least something to get an idea about places mentioned).

I had preordered this book weeks ago. Now after all that time waiting I finished it in two sessions after Downloading it.
I won't say two much about it, the risk of spoilers being too great.
Let me say it was an enthralling thrilling read. Emotional at times but gripping.
I don't need to use terms similar to unmissable or page turner as all of you who have read the previous installments will know.
If you have read the previous books in the series hit the download button.
You won't be disappointed. Thanks to James and Miranda on a masterful series.

WOW!
Jim and Miranda, the collection of the Battlefield series of books is the best read I’ve seen quite possibly ever! Throughout the 80’s, 90’s and up till now I’ve read everything I could get my hands on about military life. As a Marine during Desert Shield/Storm I often wondered if anyone could portray what actual military life is like. Clancy, Brown and others were good but you guys are the best! How you conclude the aftermath of combat is interesting also. The price of violence is something that I bear also. Guys your books are the greatest and have led me to get to writing about my experiences also. Thank you.

James Rosone and Miranda Watson are tremendous story tellers and their Red Storm Series provides hours of reading enjoyment. I actually felt sad when I finished Battlefield China, book six of the series. As I've said in all my reviews of Rosone and Waton's books, their writings are a must read for action military junkies. The entire series is edge of the seat action and drama, fast paced and exciting from start to finish and scary in it's realism. I'm looking forward to their next series or stand alone publication.

A JR. Military Action Thriller (RED - 6)/China vs The US.
JR. had. penned the sixth novel in the RSS-6. Series, which indicates the United States total commitment to end the war but defeating China in the air, in the ground and at sea. The losses for both sides were staggering. The US constantly attacked the China mainland from the air and eliminated the Chinese Air Force. The personnel in the ground that were killed out numbered the allies 20 to 1. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS

Completed the entire series in order. These were very educational from a current events point of view and from a military point of view. Easy reads, consistent in technique and inter-woven characters across the series without losing the ability to stand alone. If you are interested in the subject matter, I recommend them. I am glad I read them as I have a better perspective of the geopolitical and military issues that are driving much of today's headlines. Pray that the scenarios presented in these novels never come to pass.

Never disappointed
Another really fantastic book,if you like action this book is for you there's action from cover to cover. I wish there were some other countries to continue the series, but I guess all great things must come to an end. What makes this series so good is that one could see these situations actually happening given the things going on in Russia and China. I'm looking forward to the next series by these two gifted authors.

Peace at Last
When I read the first book in this series, I was hooked. Each book stood on its own and made you feel you couldn't wait until the next book was available. At the end of "China", I felt that I had personally gone through the war with the characters. I have read several war series but this was by far the best. I look forward to the authors next effort. Well done.

End of WW111
Brilliant books very thought provoking and a little bit too near what is going on in the World with Russia and China at present.All characters believable.The UK part in the war was very near to what I think of the major political parties now,scary.A little bit of the USA winning the war again and I would like to have seen more of the political change in China at the end of the series it was left to imagination.Overall a great read.

Outstanding ending to a great series. This chapter really took into the world of the people on the ground (or in the air). Rosone did a very good job of taking the reader through the various perspectives; whether it be the green Private in the foxhole, the sergeants and captains directing battles, and up to the generals and politicians bearing the weight of the big picture costs of their decisions.
I've come across 2 WWIII series' that were a step above the rest, and this is one of them.

Excellent ending for this series
This was a most enjoyable book. I found it hard to set down at times. It was a perfect ending for this series. The characters are well developed and I got quite invested in the fates of them. While I think some of the battles are not detailed enough because the authors don't want to get too far in the weeds, I think they should. I would highly recommend this series to anyone that enjoys this genre.

….You had and you lost it
The story overall was perfect but you just when you got to the finish line you fell over. You ruined the taste that just hated the last 3/4 of the novel from how you ddidn’t go into detsil on Russia(rebuilding, lost subs/nukes, and if democratic won), and if China let the president of Taiwan take over because if she didn’t it would really make me angry and you don’t want an angry rant review.

As intense as you can get
Without it being real. A third world war that has cost millions of lives, needs to end. The Chinese knowing they've lost still fight on. In an strange turn of events the does finally end in a highly dramatic and edge of your seat read
I really like at the end the future of the what happens to the characters. But there were some that were missed.

Red Storm Series
You MUST read this series. Don’t just read 1 of the books. Get them all! A very well written and thought out series. Serious stuff. If you like to read about war, this is the series for you. Very realistic in its historical approach and how things progress as the world governments make their moves. A master chess game!

A very good series to read
The Red storm six book series by James Dixon's is some of the best books he has ever written. I have read every book he has written. I have enjoyed reading his books very much. He knows about war. His battle seans are has real has they can be. I hope he writes a another soon.

great!
I was glued to the series and often felt we were in this “third world war” before correcting myself. I especially enjoyed reading an exciting and entertaining book without all the “ f**k” and other crude language unnecessary in an enjoyable story. Your story had the same intensity and grit of other writers, and you proved good writing does not need expletives. thanks

It was ok
It could have been a lot better, what let it down is the authors apparent contempt and predujice for anything British or the British army which had a negative impact on the story, also there was too many characters that were too similar to be able to invest in them, it had a lot of potential but overall missed the mark

The final book of the Red Storm series. I really enjoyed the entire series of books. Very engaging and I had surprisingly emotional reactions to the story lines. It is written with a strong tie to current events which makes it very plausible. The attention to detail really draws you into the story. Best series of books I have read in a very long time.

I guess I was a little jaded by this series as I did not enjoy this book anywhere near as much as the other books. The earlier books in the series were "believable". This book was using a tech insight of the Chinese Army movements to allow the goodies to defeat China. So a good series overall, but disappointing finish.

Great military series
With all books in this series read, I have only one word - epic! The characters are believable, with well constructed personalities both good and bad. Weapons and armour have been thoroughly researched and in particular the emergence and use of weapons of war which are only just being developed in reality. I enjoyed each and every book in the series.
