This was an interesting final story in this uinverse. I wish I could say the double crosses were a surprise but they weren't. Overall I think it was well done though.

Thoughts about the Book

Nina successfully faked her own death. Now, she returns to a Chicago that is unrecognizable from the one she left. She also doesn't have the protection of her former status she can count on. A terrorist organization has successfully infiltrated the Resistance with the help of a traitor--someone who is within her inner circle. And she can't fight her way out this time. It will take time and strategy to root out the betrayer.

Thoughts on this Series

A Chicago in the stark future where The Truth—a dangerous social and biological hierarchy that treats young women as assets rather than people--reigns. It focus in Nina's journey, which takes her from a victim of this corrupt system to a leader of the Resistance.

It's very much a product of its time and very YA. Do what you will with that.
