Captured by the Heart of a Thug: A Case of Gangsta Love

Keyana Milton AKA Yana always had an easy going life, she only had one parent in her life which was her father. Her mother and brother died in a car accident leaving her and her father alone with just the two of them, although it was sudden, her father and her continued being there for one another. Her father continued to work hard giving Yana the best life he could. All he wanted was for her to focus on school, and accomplishing all of her dreams. Yana had her fair share of heart breaks more than her father wanted to allow, but she was grown and attending college, a social life and love was nonsexist, until a weekend away from school back in her hometown change all of that. Never would she have thought a man could capture her eyes, putting her heart under arrest.
Miece, Yana’s cousin attempts to be the independent hard working woman she is. Not wanting to be anything like her mother she proves to the world she doesn’t need a man to define her, until a night of pleasure sentenced her heart to a life time of love, or will it end with tragic pain?
Whoever says the state of my heart demands the loyalty of a woman was right. Payton, AKA Diva has been holding down someone special, when he is release from prison she feels good knowing his heart is still sworn to her. So, she thought. The Love Diva and Shamir shared has been violated to the first degree. Will Shamir, testify his love and win her heart?
Havier Fisher AKA Hood was a man of many talents. Not only did he had a solid empire he has businesses and stock that continued to grow his money. His only fear was dying and not being able to provide for his sister and mother. Although they were well off, Hood wanted to always be there to provide for them. A man of Hood’s caliber had more women then he knew what to do with. None of them meant anything to him, and he never found interest in a woman enough to bring her around more than twice. While visiting his hometown before he moves back permanently he ran into a woman that spark his interest. Once, you get the interest of Hood, you got his attention. Who is the woman that held his attention? Will she find him of importance to fit into her life or will he have to put a warrant out for her love? While Love finds its way to Hood, an unwelcome guest does as well, finding Hood to be a threat to his world. Can Hood handle all that is coming his way?

Not for me
This story disappointed me. It feels like I'm not getting something somewhere but cant put my finger on it. I for one didn't understand how Diva could be so upset abt her brother being with Yana when she was with his BF. Then she constantly getting mad abt things she thinks Sham is doing, but it was her idea to wait and tell her brother. I didn't really like her. I was the most disappointed in Yana like u suppose to be so smart and have your head together but u let this man take your virginity the first night u basically met him WITH NO PROTECTION. So I already know what's coming next, then he don't call you after a month and the night u finally see him, ur puddy in his hands? Like how u so in love and yo heart broke when you didn't even date the man. They literally talked for abt 41/2 mins at the club and then had sex when they got home. So she knew nothing abt him but that he had good sex. How were you so heartbroken over this? He already get to run yo life and tell you what u can and cannot do while he out just doing him? HOW? yeah I wanted to stop along time ago but i wanted to give it a fair chance. I couldn't finish though. But i can say there were hardly any errors.

Great Read
This book was so good from beginning to the end and what a ending. Enjoyed the storyline, plot and these characters. Well written and flowed really well at a steady pace. Characters were well developed with room for growth. Full of drama, secrets, lies, envy, jealousy and throw in the suspense made a great read. Really like Hood, Sham and Jock with Yana, Diva and Miece. Along with these characters are some snakes slithering around and I know it's more drama on the horizon. Also, there's Meagan and Diamond who can't let go and Tez and Jamal looking for revenge. After that ending I can't wait to hear Lisa's story....and she what happens next. Highly recommend this book. Job well done Tnesha Sims.

Ready for more!
I hope part 2 doesn’t take too long because I’m anxious to know how the couples will fare and who will actually survive. I love Yana the most. She has a good head on her shoulders and does not lose herself in a man. Hood will be lucky to keep her. Diva and Sham are cute but Sham is stupid to think he can be friends with Ray. Diva needs to get her a “friend” or two as well. I understand why Yana is upset with Diva. There is really no excuse as to how she was carrying it with Diamond. She was way to lukewarm and straddling the fence. Hopefully, their friendship can survive. Both Meice and Jock had such a tough life. I don’t want to see their journey end here...

Not much to this one… The story was almost cookie cutter for me but not so much that it made me not want to read it. Following along with the couples did have me wanting to skip forward at times though, all the breakup to makeup without really addressing the issues can get nerve racking. Then again they jump into relationships from introduction so I can't say I didn't see that coming.
The ending is having me wonder if the wrong person was brought in though. I can't see his character being gone so quick, then again it would be just enough to start some drama with the shooter. If the shooter is somehow with Tez that would also be enough, either way the read is going to need something other than exes to keep me engaged.

GREAT BOOK!!!!
This was a very good book. It was great from beginning to end. I loved the guys and girls together. I hope everyone gets their happily ever after. This is most definitely a must read...that ending pissed me off and I can’t wait to read part 2...T’Nesha you did the darn thing with this book...

My Heart hurts
Oh my. I love a well rounded story. Drama with a point to it, Very well written and a Storyline that just holds you. This was all that and more and I can't wait for the next one. I can't believe Diva tho.

Tneshia Sims omg goodness. Every page was head turner. I truly can't wait for part 2. Oh Lord's knows I hope Jock haven't pass, and for Ms. Lisa to here about her son. Diamond needs to caught those hands from Yana.
