"It all started out as a mild curiosity in the junkyard, and now it's turned out to be quite a great spirit of adventure, don't you think?”

Did you ever wonder about Ian and Barbara’s first real conversation? What happened during their adventures in time and space that brought them so close together? Have you ever considered those first moments in London, 1965, after two years lost in the universe? What happened after that? What about their further adventures, but also their day to day lives? You can find answers to those questions and much more inside this book.

Mild Curiosities is an unofficial charity anthology in support of Breast Cancer Now, a leading cancer research center whose goal is to make sure those who develop breast cancer by 2050 live—and live well. It contains stories by Adam Christopher, Kara Dennison, Stephen Hatcher, Anna Maloney and William J. Martin as well as art by Raine Szramski, Carolyn Edwards, Paul Magrs, Sarah Theimer, and Sam Shaw. All in addition to many, many other wonderful writers and artists. The fanzine also features an introduction by John Dorney and poetry by Beth Axford.

In October Fio created an A-Z Doctor Who Charity Stream on Twitch in support of FareShare UK, drawing for fourteen hours until they had drawn 26 different Doctor Who related things live for their audience. The results of which was $4,762 dollars.

Fio has also been a regular in charity anthologies and zines for both disciplines including both Doctor Who Appreciation Society's fanzines: Cosmic Masque and Celestial Toyroom. They has also edited their own, Mild Curiosities, dedicated to the memory of Jacqueline Hill. All proceeds went to Breast Cancer Now.

Fio now lives in London and dating fellow writer Georgia Cook.
